Ellerbach is a river of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Nahe.

Bad Kreuznach is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde is in the town Bad Kreuznach, itself not part of the Verbandsgemeinde. The municipalities lie south and east of the town of Bad Kreuznach. The entire Verbandsgemeinde is 73.7 square kilometers large and has about 9,000 inhabitants. The Verbandsgemeinde Bad Kreuznach consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):

Bad Kreuznach station is the largest station in the town of Bad Kreuznach in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. It is regularly served by Regional-Express and Regionalbahn services on the Nahe Valley Railway (Nahetalbahn). The station is located south-east of the town centre.

Schloss Oranienhof was a baroque schloss or palace in what is now Bad Kreuznach in the Rhineland-Palatinate. It was built in 1669 by Maria of Orange-Nassau (1642–1688) as a summer residence on the site of the abandoned Augustiner-Chorfrauenstift. The palace was destroyed by French troops twenty years later during the Nine Years' War, rebuilt in the 18th century and partly demolished in the early 19th century. It was occupied by the house of Orange-Nassau.

The Augustiner-Chorfrauenstift was an Augustinian nunnery in what is now Bad Kreuznach in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. It existed between 1140 and 1669. It was known in the Middle Ages as the Monasterium or coenobium S. Petri apud (or prope or iuxta) Crucenacum monialium ordinis S. Augustini. In 1669 parts of it were converted into the Schloss Oranienhof, which was destroyed in 1689 and partly rebuilt early in the 19th century. From 1834/42 to 1929 the site was also occupied by the Hotel Oranienhof. A late Gothic picture of grace (Pietà) of "Our Lady of Sorrow", for whose worship Pope Alexander VI had promised a 40-day indulgence in 1502, was located in the monastery church of St. Peter. The sculpture was taken by the nuns on their flight and was for a long time worshipped in St. Agnes in Mainz, then from 1802 until its destruction in 1942 in the parish church St. Quintin's Church, Mainz.

Bad Kreuznach (German pronunciation: [baːt ˈkʁɔʏtsnax] ) is a town in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is a spa town, most well known for its medieval bridge dating from around 1300, the Alte Nahebrücke, which is one of the few remaining bridges in the world with buildings on it.The town is located in the Nahe River wine region, renowned both nationally and internationally for its wines, especially from the Riesling, Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau grape varieties. Bad Kreuznach does not lie within any Verbandsgemeinde, even though it is the seat of the Bad Kreuznach (Verbandsgemeinde). The town is the seat of several courts, as well as federal and state authorities. Bad Kreuznach is also officially a große kreisangehörige Stadt ("large town belonging to a district"), meaning that it does not have the district-level powers that kreisfreie Städte ("district-free towns/cities") enjoy. It is, nonetheless, the district seat, and also the seat of the state chamber of commerce for Rhineland-Palatinate. It is classed as a middle centre with some functions of an upper centre, making it the administrative, cultural and economic hub of a region with more than 150,000 inhabitants.

The siege of Kreuznach or the Spanish capture of Kreuznach took place on 10 September 1620, at Kreuznach (renamed Bad Kreuznach in 1924) in the Palatinate, where the Army of Flanders, led by the Spanish Don Ambrosio Spinola, defeated the troops of Frederick V, Elector of the Palatinate, during the Palatinate campaign of the Thirty Years' War. The Army of Flanders was a multinational army in the service of the kings of Spain that was based in the Netherlands during the 16th to 18th centuries. Spinola's troops stormed Bad Kreuznach and its garrison surrendered. Later the town was freed on an oath not to rebel against the Holy Roman Empire.

Bad Münster am Stein station is a station at a railway junction in Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg, a district of Bad Kreuznach in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The station building, dating from about 1910, is protected as a monument. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. The station is located in the network of the Rhein-Nahe-Nahverkehrsverbund (Rhine-Nahe local transport association, RNN) and belongs to fare zone 401. Its address is: Berliner Straße 20.The station, opened in 1859, was initially a through station on the Nahe Valley Railway (Nahetalbahn), which was built by the Rhine-Nahe Railway Company (Rhein-Nahe-Bahn). In 1871, the Alsenz Valley Railway (Alsenztalbahn) was opened from Hochspeyer with its northern terminus in the town then called just Münster. From 1904 to 1961, it was also the north-eastern terminus of the Glan Valley Railway (Glantalbahn), a strategic railway running to Homburg.

Rheingrafenstein Castle is a castle on a 136-metre-high (446 ft) porphyry rock formation, the Rheingrafenstein, known as Huhinstein a thousand years, on the river Nahe, opposite Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg in the district Bad Kreuznach.

Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg is a spa town of about 4,000 inhabitants (as of 2004) in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Since 1 July 2014, it is part of the town Bad Kreuznach. It was the seat of the former like-named Verbandsgemeinde, but not part of it. Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg was granted town rights on 29 April 1978 and is recognized as a mineral spring spa (Mineralheilbad) and a climatic spa (heilklimatischer Kurort). Today the "Spa" is famous for its clinics specializing in cardiological and orthopaedic rehabilitation. The many graduation towers form the largest open air inhalatorium in Europe.

Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg is a former Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. On 1 January 2017 it was disbanded, and its member municipalities were divided over the Verbandsgemeinden Rüdesheim and Bad Kreuznach. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde was in Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg, itself not part of the Verbandsgemeinde anymore since 1 July 2014.
