The Proctor Maple Research Center is an agricultural research center of the University of Vermont specializing in the study of sugar maples, particularly with respect to the production of sap for use in maple syrup. It is the only facility of this type in the United States. Its facilities are located on Harvey Road in Underhill, Vermont, on a rural property previously known as the Harvey Farm, given to the state in 1946 by Governor of Vermont Mortimer Proctor. The center's early facilities and century-old sugar bush are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Chittenden-8 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Chittenden-8 District consists of the Chittenden County towns of Bolton, Jericho, and Underhill. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Chittenden-8 District had a population of 8,966 in that same census, 10.45% above the state average. It has the highest population of any House of Representatives district in the state.

The District No. 5 Schoolhouse is a historic district school building at 32 Pleasant Valley Road in Underhill, Vermont. Built in 1861, it served the town as a school until it was damaged by fire in 1951, but remains a community landmark. It is now owned by the local historical society. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

Underhill Center is an unincorporated village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Underhill, Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. The community is 4.9 miles (7.9 km) east of the village of Jericho. Underhill Center has a post office with ZIP code 05490, which opened on December 30, 1850.

St. Thomas Church is a Roman Catholic church in the Town of Underhill, Vermont in the United States, located in the unincorporated village of Underhill Center. The church was built from 1891-92 after its predecessor had burned down on 19 December 1890. The cornerstone for the current St. Thomas Church building was laid on 12 August 1891 at an event that had an estimated 1,000 attendees. Although the construction period spanned from 1 May 1891 until December 1892, the first Mass was nevertheless held in the basement of the church on Christmas Day in 1891. The first child was baptized there on New Year's Day in 1892. The first Mass was held within the church proper on Christmas Day 1892. The first marriage was held in the church on 9 January 1893.

Underhill State Park is a state park in Underhill, Vermont. It is situated on the west slope of 4,300 feet Mount Mansfield, in the 39,837-acre Mount Mansfield State Forest. Activities includes hiking, camping, mountain biking, stream fishing, wildlife watching, and picnicking. Facilities include group and individual camping areas, a picnic shelter, and hiking trails. The park is formally open between Memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend, but is accessible for periods outside those times; fees are charged. Much of the park's infrastructure was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the 1930s; these facilities were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Mount Mansfield State Forest covers 44,444 acres (179.86 km2) in seven towns in Chittenden, Lamoille and Washington counties in Vermont. The towns are Bolton and Underhill in Chittenden County, Cambridge, Johnson, Morristown and Stowe in Lamoille County, and Waterbury in Washington County. Mt. Mansfield State Forest is the largest contiguous landholding owned by the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation.

WEZF (92.9 FM, "Star 92.9") is a commercial radio station located in Burlington, Vermont. The station airs an adult contemporary radio format and is owned and operated by Vox AM/FM. WEZF has studios and offices on Hegeman Avenue in Colchester and its transmitter is on top of Vermont's highest mountaintop, Mount Mansfield, using an omnidirectional antenna. WEZF carries the syndicated Delilah evening show from Premiere Networks. Almost all of the station's weekday air shifts are either hosted or co-hosted by women. From mid-November to December 25 each year, WEZF switches to an all-Christmas music format. WEZF is the only full-powered commercial Class C radio station in Vermont. WEZF transmits with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 46,000 watts at a height above average terrain (HAAT) of 2,717 feet. It covers a large area, including much of Vermont, the Adirondacks and North Country of New York, northwestern New Hampshire and much of southern Quebec (including Greater Montreal and Sherbrooke).

Bolton Mountain is a mountain located in Chittenden County, Vermont. Bolton is flanked to the north by Mount Mayo. Bolton Mountain stands within the watershed of Lake Champlain, which drains into Canada's Richelieu River, the Saint Lawrence River, and into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. The northeast slopes of Bolton Mountain drain into Miller Brook, thence into the Little River, the Winooski River, and into Lake Champlain. The southeast slopes of Bolton Mountain drain into Cotton Brook, thence into the Little River. The south end of Bolton drains into Joiner Brook, thence into the Winooski River. The west slopes of Bolton drain into Mill Brook, thence into the Winooski River. The northwest slopes of Bolton drain into Lee River, thence into Browns River, the Lamoille River, and into Lake Champlain. The Long Trail, a 272-mile (438-km) hiking trail running the length of Vermont, crosses the summit of Bolton Mountain.
