Wendell Krinn Technical High School

Ridgewood High School was a four-year public high school serving residential suburbs in New Port Richey, Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, part of the Pasco County Public School System in Pasco County, Florida. The school was founded on August 22, 1978, as a junior high school with the intent of becoming the third high school in western Pasco County. As of the 2014–15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,133 students and 73.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.5:1. There were 787 students (69.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 98 (8.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The school closed at the end of the 2017–18 school year for conversion to Wendell Krinn Technical High School, a technical high school named after Ridgewood's first principal, Wendell Krinn. The school's closing ceremony took place on May 22, 2018, and was attended by faculty and alumni. The Tampa Bay Times wrote, "The community is losing its traditional high school, with sports teams and bands and the spirit that comes with sending generations to it."

Gulf View Square Mall is an enclosed mall in Port Richey, Florida. Opened in 1980, it is anchored by Best Buy & Dillard's Clearance Store and is owned by Namdar Realty Group. The mall has not been in great shape in recent years. There have been plans to demolish the mall, but the mall is trying to find other ways to make money.

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is a hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. In 2010, two brand new buildings opened: Starkey Tower and the Medical Arts Building. In addition to the new buildings, the hospital opened the Richard and Laura Bekesh Education and Conference Center which hosts community lectures, support groups, and health screenings. North Bay Hospital is also home to Mitchell Rehabilitation Hospital, a 30-bed acute rehab facility.

The Hacienda Hotel is a historic site in New Port Richey, Florida. It is located at 5621 Main Street. On October 24, 1996, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by Thomas Reed Martin. The hotel originally opened in 1927. The city of New Port Richey bought the building in 2003.The Hacienda opened as a hotel again when it reopened on September 15, 2022. The hotel features a full-service restaurant and bar, Sasha's On the Park.

Richey Suncoast Theatre is a historic former movie theatre built in 1925 and later restored for use as a playhouse and community theatre in New Port Richey, Florida. It is named for silent film star Thomas Meighan and opened as the Meighan Theatre on July 1, 1926 with a screening of Meighan's movie The New Klondike. Meighan himself was not present but sent a congratulatory telegram.In 1930 sound was added to the theatre. Meighan himself appeared to push the start button for the sound. The theatre closed in 1934 due to the Great Depression. It reopened in 1938 as a community theatre under the name The New Port Richey Theatre. : Richey Suncoast Theatre.The theatre hosts the Black Maria Film and Video Festival.

WZRA-CD (channel 48) is a low-power, Class A television station licensed to Oldsmar, Florida, United States, serving ethnic groups in the Tampa Bay area. The station carries a variety of mostly news-oriented programming from broadcasters outside the United States, in several languages. In Pinellas County, WZRA-CD is available on WOW! cable TV channel 122 and on Spectrum digital channel 948. Hidden Lake Airport (FAA LID: FA40) is a private-use airport located four miles (6 km) northeast of the central business district of New Port Richey, a city in Pasco County, Florida, United States. It is privately owned by Airport Investors. The airport is primarily available for the 150 residential homes located in the fly-in community of Hidden Lake Estates. However, the airport can be used at any time for emergency landings. The entirety of the Hidden Lake Estates and Airport is a licensed airport community with the Florida Department of Transportation All streets on the east side of the runway are officially taxiways, therefore aircraft have the right-of-way.
