National Memorial Park is a cemetery located in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Falls Church, Virginia. The cemetery is part of the National Funeral Home and National Memorial Park complex, which includes several related memorial and end-of-life services. The cemetery covers 168 acres, lined with fountains, trees, gardens, and sculptures. The complex is owned by Houston-based Service Corporation International.

Trinity School at Meadow View is a private, Blue Ribbon Award-winning Christian school in Falls Church, Virginia. It was founded in 1998 by the People of Praise and provides classical Christian education to students in grades 7-12. Since then it has developed a strong educational presence in Northern Virginia and attracts international students. It is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS). The Meadow View campus has two sister schools, Greenlawn and River Ridge. The schools are independent and are owned and operated by Trinity Schools, Inc.

Idylwood is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The population was 17,954 as of the 2020 census. It originally developed as a suburban community along the route of the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad, and later along Virginia State Route 7. The construction of the Capital Beltway in the 1960s, and I-66 and the Orange Line of the Washington Metrorail system in the 1980s, as well as the concurrent development of nearby Tysons Corner into Washington's leading suburban business district, led to the development of several apartment, townhouse, and small-lot single-family housing complexes, as well as the high-rise Idylwood Towers condominium, in the portion of Idylwood lying to the north of I-66. The area to the south of I-66 remains primarily large-lot single-family.

Falls Church High School (FCHS) is a high school located in West Falls Church, Virginia, in unincorporated Fairfax County. While the school has a Falls Church mailing address, the school does not serve the City of Falls Church, which is served by Meridian High School. The school serves grades 9 through 12. It was relocated from its former site in downtown Falls Church to the current address, 7521 Jaguar Trail, Falls Church, Virginia 22042, in 1967 Falls Church High's school motto is "Building on Our Success." The mascot for the school is a Jaguar. The school colors are dark green and white. The principal is Benjamin Nowak.

West Falls Church is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The population was 29,207 at the 2010 census. Before 2010, West Falls Church was officially named Jefferson. Outside of the Jefferson Village neighborhood, "Jefferson" generally is not used locally to refer to the area bounding Falls Church city to the south and southwest that comprises the CDP. Likewise, "West Falls Church" is rarely used to describe the area but is usually applied to areas west of Falls Church city or near West Falls Church Metro station. The bulk of it is made of subdivisions built in the 1940s and early 1950s, including Jefferson Village, Westlawn, Hillwood, Sleepy Hollow, Woodley, Raymondale and Broyhill Park.

Mount Hope is a historic home located at Falls Church, Virginia. It was built in the 1830s, as a 1+1⁄2-story, frame I-house dwelling. It consists of three parts: a frame dwelling built about 1830; a 2+1⁄2-story, 3-bay, Gothic Revival brick dwelling built in 1869; and a 1-bay brick section that joins the two. The 1869 section features a pair of corbel topped chimneys that pierce the apex of the gable roof, which has a substantial overhang on all elevations. It also has a three-bay porch with low hipped roof across the front facade.The 1831 wing of the house is the oldest residential building in Falls Church. It was one of the earliest stops on the local mail route. Amzi Coe purchased the residence in 1842 and named it Mount Hope. The property was used for meetings of the Presbyterian Church in the parlor. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Meridian High School (MHS) (formerly George Mason High School) is a comprehensive public high school serving the independent City of Falls Church. Until January 2014, it was located in Idylwood, an unincorporated area of Falls Church, in Fairfax County, Virginia, adjacent to Falls Church City. As part of Fairfax Water's agreement to purchase the Falls Church Water System, the parcel with MHS was transferred to Falls Church City.The school serves some 850 students in grades 9-12. The school is the sole high school of the Falls Church City Public Schools system. In 1981, the school became the first in Virginia to use the International Baccalaureate program.The school ranks gold in U.S. News & World Report's Best High Schools Ranking for 2020; Meridian High School (formerly George Mason) ranks #16 among all schools in Virginia and #649 in the United States.A design for a new main building was unveiled in 2017 and construction began in 2019. The new LEED-certified building opened to students in 2021, and the original was demolished. In December 2020, the FCCPS School Board voted to rename George Mason High School and its counterpart Thomas Jefferson Elementary School due to their namesakes' association with American slavery. After a period of deliberation and public comment, the school board selected Meridian High School as a replacement name.

WDCN-LD (channel 6), branded on air as DC 87.7FM, is a low-power television station licensed to Fairfax, Virginia, United States, serving the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Owned by Signal Above LLC, WDCN-LD markets itself as a conventional FM radio station, broadcasting Spanish contemporary hits. WDCN-LD has its studios on Old Gallows Road in Tysons. The transmitter is on Lee Highway (US 29) near Interstate 495 (The Capital Beltway) in Merrifield.

The Fairfax County Public Schools system (FCPS) is a school division in the U.S. commonwealth of Virginia. It is a branch of the Fairfax County government which administers public schools in Fairfax County and the City of Fairfax. FCPS's headquarters is located in the Gatehouse Administration Center in Merrifield, an unincorporated section of the county near the city of Falls Church; the headquarters has a Falls Church address but is not within the city limits.With over 185,000 students enrolled, FCPS is the largest public school system in Virginia and one of the largest in the country. The school division has been led by Division Superintendent Michelle Reid since July 2022.
