Founded in October 1947, JV's Restaurant is a Falls Church and Fairfax County, Virginia restaurant and live music venue. Located on Arlington Boulevard, Route 50, just west of Annandale Road, JV's has provided live music for more than four decades. In 2004, the Washington Area Music Association presented JV's with the Special Appreciation Award, voted on by participating Washington-region musicians, as their favorite live venue.

The Providence Players of Fairfax is a community theatre company based in Fairfax, Virginia that performs at the James Lee Community Center Theatre in Falls Church, Virginia. The theatre was founded in 1998 as the Mantua Players and performed their first production, You Can't Take It with You, at Mantua Elementary School. They soon moved to Frost Middle School, becoming The Frost Players of Fairfax before moving to the James Lee Center for their 2004–2005 season and becoming The Providence Players of Fairfax. The company has grown over the years, recently staging their first musical (Company) and their first Shakespeare (Twelfth Night). They have garnered positive reviews in The Washington Post, and have been nominated for 23 Washington Area Theatre Community Honors (WATCH) Awards and have won ten WATCH Awards. In April 2005, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors presented the Providence Players with a Certificate of Recognition for their "community-based commitment to the performing arts". In 2006 their production of The Women won received First Runner-up for Outstanding Achievement in a Play from the Ruby Griffith Awards program conducted by the British Players. In 2009 their production of All My Sons won the All Around Production Excellence Awards at the Ruby Griffith Awards.

The Falls Church Anglican is an Anglican parish in the Falls Church section of Fairfax County, Virginia, near Washington, D.C. In 2006, the congregation of The Falls Church divided over the question of whether to leave the Episcopal Church, effectively creating two congregations: The Falls Church Anglican and The Falls Church (Episcopal). Following years of conflict within the Episcopal Church over issues surrounding Biblical authority and interpretation (including issues such as human sexuality, the role of men and women in ordained ministry, and liturgical reform) several congregations within the Episcopal Church concluded that the only way for them to remain faithful to their views was to "walk apart" from the Episcopal Church, yet remain in communion with other Anglican churches. The Falls Church was one of these congregations. In December 2006, a substantial majority of the congregation of the Falls Church voted to disaffiliate from the Episcopal Church in the United States of America and join the Convocation of Anglicans in North America, a missionary effort headed by Martyn Minns, former Rector of Truro Church, and sponsored by the Church of Nigeria, a member of Anglican Church in North America. In 2013, the Falls Church Anglican affiliated directly with the Anglican Church in North America.

The Fountain of Faith is a monumental sculptural group by Carl Milles in Falls Church, Virginia. It is located in National Memorial Park, a large cemetery which also displays a colossal cast of Milles' Sunsinger. Each of the fountain's thirty-seven life-size bronze figures evokes a specific individual whom Milles had known before their death.It was inaugurated in 1952 after 12 years of Milles' work. On that occasion, the National Symphony Orchestra played in front of a crowd of 25,000. Over the years, Milles's dedication to the project had grown so much that he only took payment for four of the figures, not counting the Sunsinger which he also offered to the cemetery's developer Robert F. Marlowe.

Falls Church High School (FCHS) is a high school located in West Falls Church, Virginia, in unincorporated Fairfax County. While the school has a Falls Church mailing address, the school does not serve the City of Falls Church, which is served by Meridian High School. The school serves grades 9 through 12. It was relocated from its former site in downtown Falls Church to the current address, 7521 Jaguar Trail, Falls Church, Virginia 22042, in 1967 Falls Church High's school motto is "Building on Our Success." The mascot for the school is a Jaguar. The school colors are dark green and white. The principal is Benjamin Nowak.

National Memorial Park is a cemetery located in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Falls Church, Virginia. The cemetery is part of the National Funeral Home and National Memorial Park complex, which includes several related memorial and end-of-life services. The cemetery covers 168 acres, lined with fountains, trees, gardens, and sculptures. The complex is owned by Houston-based Service Corporation International.

Trinity School at Meadow View is a private, Blue Ribbon Award-winning Christian school in Falls Church, Virginia. It was founded in 1998 by the People of Praise and provides classical Christian education to students in grades 7-12. Since then it has developed a strong educational presence in Northern Virginia and attracts international students. It is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS). The Meadow View campus has two sister schools, Greenlawn and River Ridge. The schools are independent and are owned and operated by Trinity Schools, Inc.

Mount Hope is a historic home located at Falls Church, Virginia. It was built in the 1830s, as a 1+1⁄2-story, frame I-house dwelling. It consists of three parts: a frame dwelling built about 1830; a 2+1⁄2-story, 3-bay, Gothic Revival brick dwelling built in 1869; and a 1-bay brick section that joins the two. The 1869 section features a pair of corbel topped chimneys that pierce the apex of the gable roof, which has a substantial overhang on all elevations. It also has a three-bay porch with low hipped roof across the front facade.The 1831 wing of the house is the oldest residential building in Falls Church. It was one of the earliest stops on the local mail route. Amzi Coe purchased the residence in 1842 and named it Mount Hope. The property was used for meetings of the Presbyterian Church in the parlor. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Big Chimneys Park is located in Falls Church, Virginia. It marks the site of a log house built in 1699. It is located on Annandale Road about a block west of Maple Avenue. It is currently under renovation from which is said to last from December 2019 to Summer of 2020.

The Falls Church is an historic Episcopal church, from which the city of Falls Church, Virginia, near Washington, D. C., takes its name. The parish was established in 1732 and the brick church still in use today dates to 1769.

Sleepy Hollow is an unincorporated community in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. Sleepy Hollow is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) south-southeast of Falls Church.

Birch House is a historic home located at Falls Church, Virginia. It was built in the 1840s, as a 1+1⁄2-story, Greek Revival frame I-house dwelling. It was enlarged to two stories in the 1850s. It was again enlarged in 1873, by an extension across the rear of the original dwelling. A porch across the front was added much later. It was the home of Joseph Edward Birch and his descendants. The house is now owned by former City of Falls Church Vice Mayor and Mrs. Samuel A. Mabry. The Mabrys purchased the house in 1984. The garden has been featured in the Virginia State Garden show twice.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
