Sutherland, Saskatoon

Sutherland is a neighborhood or subdivision of the University Heights SDA, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.Saskatoon Sutherland was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. It was last contested in the 2011 provincial election before being dissolved into Saskatoon Silverspring-Sutherland and Saskatoon University. The district was first contested in the 1975 provincial election. In its initial form, it existed until the 1991 election, when it was merged with Saskatoon University to create the new district of Saskatoon Sutherland-University. The new district was renamed back to Saskatoon Sutherland before the 1995 election.

Rugby Chapel is a municipal historic site which is part of the University of Saskatchewan (U of S). The U of S is the largest education institution in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The University of Saskatchewan location next to the South Saskatchewan River was across from the city centre of Saskatoon. In 1879, the Rt. Rev. John McLean started a schooling system in Prince Albert which was renamed the University of Saskatchewan in 1883. In 1909, when the University of Saskatchewan was established in Saskatoon, Emmanuel College moved its college buildings to Saskatoon. The Institute for stained glass in Canada has documented the stained glass at Rugby Chapel.

Sutherland Industrial is an industrial subdivision located in east-central Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It was originally part of Sutherland, a town outside of Saskatoon before being annexed by the city in 1956. The subdivision also contains the first urban reserve in Saskatchewan, the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation.

Evan Hardy Collegiate Institute is located on the East side of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, serving students from grades 9 through 12. It is also known as Evan Hardy, Hardy, or simply EHCI. Evan Hardy Collegiate was named for noted University of Saskatchewan professor Evan Alan Hardy. The school was opened in 1966. Evan Hardy centres the first Saskatoon Media School, an entire semester of media-based classes for students all around Saskatoon and area. It was one of only three Saskatoon high schools to offer the SAGE program (the others are Bedford Road and Walter Murray) for gifted students until 2021. Its feeder schools are Brunskill School, Colette Bourgonje School, College Park School, Greystone Heights School, Lakeridge School, Lakeview School, Roland Michener School, and Wildwood School.

The National Hydrology Research Centre is located in a dedicated building on the Innovation Place Research Park campus in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Centre is operated by Environment Canada. The centre includes staff from the Water Science and Technology Directorate of Environment Canada, and the Climate Research Division of the Atmospheric Science and Technology Directorate. The centre works closely with the University of Saskatchewan Centre for Hydrology. The University of Saskatchewan Global Institute for Water Security, is also collocated with the Centre.The centre, established in 1986 is a subsidiary laboratory to the National Water Research Institute (NWRI) that was established in 1978 in Burlington, Ontario., The Centre provides accredited conventional and nutrients analysis in support of EC research and monitoring studies. Other facilities include Geometrics/Geographic Information Systems laboratory, Computer modelling facilities, and the NHRC Stable Isotope Laboratory for stable isotope research and analyses in support of ECCC programs.

Asimakaniseekan Askiy 102A is an Indian reserve of the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. An urban reserve, it is located in the city of Saskatoon.
