The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum

International Center is a neighborhood of high-rise office and residential buildings in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, Texas (USA). The land in the neighborhood is owned primarily by Harwood International, a development firm based in Dallas. The area is in proximity to Victory Park, Uptown, and the Arts District of downtown, three highly popular districts in Central Dallas. Like its neighborhoods, International Center is experiencing large amounts of growth in both the commercial and residential sectors.

The Crescent is a postmodern office, hotel, and retail complex located at 200 Crescent Court in Uptown Dallas, Texas, United States. The 10-acre complex was designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and was completed in 1986. The structure has 1,134,826 square feet (100,000 m2) of office space in three office towers, Hotel Crescent Court, and an upscale shopping center including department store Stanley Korshak.

The statue of Dirk Nowitzki (nicknamed "The Fadeaway") is located in front of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, United States. The 23-foot (7.0 m) white bronze statue portrays former Dallas Mavericks basketball player Dirk Nowitzki shooting his signature one-legged fadeaway shot. Design began in 2019 and it was unveiled to the public on December 25, 2022.

On the morning of July 24, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, 30-year-old Dallas Police Officer Darrell L. Cain murdered Santos Rodriguez, a 12-year-old Mexican-American child. Officer Cain and Officer Roy R. Arnold were investigating reports of a burglary at a Fina gas station when they took Santos Rodriguez and his 13-year-old brother David Rodriguez from their home for an impromptu interrogation over the burglary. Cain shot Santos Rodriguez while conducting Russian roulette on the brothers in an attempt to force a confession from them. Cain was found guilty of murder with malice, and was sentenced to five years in prison. He was released on September 11, 1979, after serving the minimum two-and-a-half-year sentence.

The American Airlines Center (AAC) is a multi-purpose arena located in the Victory Park neighborhood in downtown Dallas, Texas. The arena serves as the home of the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association and the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League. The arena is also used for concerts and other live entertainment. It was opened in 2001 at a cost of $420 million.

The Victory Tower, also referred to as Mandarin Oriental Dallas Hotel & Residences, is a canceled skyscraper in the new Victory Park neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. At the time its proposal, the building would have been the tallest structure under construction in the city, and was the only building planned to rise over 400 feet (122 meters) up for proposal in Dallas. Upon completion, the Victory Tower would stand as the 8th-tallest building in the city, rising to a height of 650 feet (198 m) with 43 floors.

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science (shortened to Perot Museum) is a natural history and science museum located in Dallas, Texas in Victory Park. The museum was named in honor of Margot and Ross Perot. The current chief executive officer of the museum is Dr. Linda Abraham-Silver.

Klyde Warren Park is a 5.2-acre (2.1 ha) public park in Downtown Dallas, Texas. The park is over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway, and opened in 2012. It is named for Klyde Warren, the young son of billionaire Kelcy Warren who donated $10 million to the development of the park. The urban park is open to the public, but is operated by the private Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation. Unlike other public parks within the city, Klyde Warren Park has operating hours from 6am to 11pm.

Victory Park is a master planned development northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA) and north of Spur 366 (Woodall Rodgers Freeway). It is along Interstate 35E, part of the Stemmons Corridor and Uptown. The US$3 billion project, at 75 acres (0.30 km2), is just north of the West End Historic District of downtown Dallas. When it is finished, the project will contain more than 4,000 residences and 4,000,000 square feet (370,000 m2) of office and retail space.

Victory station is a mass transit station in Dallas, Texas. It serves Trinity Railway Express commuter rail line, DART Light Rail trains, and DART buses. Located along the Stemmons Corridor in the Uptown neighborhood, the station opened in 2001 in the Victory Park development as a temporary platform shortly after the opening of the American Airlines Center.

Hunt Oil Co. is an independent oil and gas company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It conducts its main oil production activities in the United States, Canada and, as of 1984, in Yemen. In the past, the company was owned by american oil tycoon Haroldson Lafayette Hunt.It also participates in liquefied natural gas production projects in Yemen (Yemen LNG) and Peru (Peru LNG).Together with Magnum Hunter Resources Corp., the company drills wells in the Eagle Ford Shale Play, located in the Western Gulf Basin in South Texas. Hunt Oil is one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, with $4 billion in 2013 revenues. It is one of several Hunt companies active in energy, real estate, investments, ranching and infrastructure. In 2007 Hunt Oil signed a production sharing contract with the Kurdistan Regional Government to engage in oil and gas exploration and extraction.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas covers the Eleventh Federal Reserve District, which includes Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico, a district sometimes referred to as the Oil Patch. The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the nation's central bank. The Dallas Fed is the only one where all external branches reside in the same state (although the region itself includes northern Louisiana as well as southern New Mexico). The Dallas Fed has branch offices in El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio. The Dallas bank is located at 2200 Pearl St. in the Uptown neighborhood of Oak Lawn, just north of downtown Dallas and the Dallas Arts District. Prior to 1992, the bank was located at 400 S. Akard Street, in the Government District in Downtown Dallas. The older Dallas Fed building, which opened in 1921, was built in the Beaux-arts style, with large limestone structure with massive carved eagles and additional significant detailing; it is a City of Dallas Designated Landmark structure. The current Dallas Fed building, opened in September 1992, was designed by three architectural firms: Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, New York; Sikes Jennings Kelly & Brewer, Houston; and John S. Chase, FAIA, Dallas and Houston, Dallas-based Austin Commercial Inc. served as project manager and general contractor.
