American Airlines Center

The statue of Dirk Nowitzki (nicknamed "The Fadeaway") is located in front of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, United States. The 23-foot (7.0 m) white bronze statue portrays former Dallas Mavericks basketball player Dirk Nowitzki shooting his signature one-legged fadeaway shot. Design began in 2019 and it was unveiled to the public on December 25, 2022.

The Victory Tower, also referred to as Mandarin Oriental Dallas Hotel & Residences, is a canceled skyscraper in the new Victory Park neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. At the time its proposal, the building would have been the tallest structure under construction in the city, and was the only building planned to rise over 400 feet (122 meters) up for proposal in Dallas. Upon completion, the Victory Tower would stand as the 8th-tallest building in the city, rising to a height of 650 feet (198 m) with 43 floors.

Victory station is a mass transit station in Dallas, Texas. It serves Trinity Railway Express commuter rail line, DART Light Rail trains, and DART buses. Located along the Stemmons Corridor in the Uptown neighborhood, the station opened in 2001 in the Victory Park development as a temporary platform shortly after the opening of the American Airlines Center.

Victory Park is a master planned development northwest of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA) and north of Spur 366 (Woodall Rodgers Freeway). It is along Interstate 35E, part of the Stemmons Corridor and Uptown. The US$3 billion project, at 75 acres (0.30 km2), is just north of the West End Historic District of downtown Dallas. When it is finished, the project will contain more than 4,000 residences and 4,000,000 square feet (370,000 m2) of office and retail space.

International Center is a neighborhood of high-rise office and residential buildings in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, Texas (USA). The land in the neighborhood is owned primarily by Harwood International, a development firm based in Dallas. The area is in proximity to Victory Park, Uptown, and the Arts District of downtown, three highly popular districts in Central Dallas. Like its neighborhoods, International Center is experiencing large amounts of growth in both the commercial and residential sectors.

The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum, also known as The Samurai Collection, is a museum of samurai armor located at 2501 North Harwood Street, Dallas, Texas, USA. It contains nearly three hundred Japanese samurai objects, including suits of armor, helmets, masks, horse armor, and weaponry, dating from the 12th to the 19th century AD with a focus on the Edo period.

One Victory Park is a skyscraper in Uptown Dallas. On October 27, 2008 Haynes and Boone moved into One Victory Park; the firm was the first major tenant that moved into the building. The firm downsized its space to 175,000 square feet (16,300 m2) of space on six floors. The offices of higher ranked employees were the same size as those of lower ranked employees so efficiency could be increased. The company announced that it was moving its headquarters in 2006.In 2007 PlainsCapital Corporation announced that it is leasing 48,500 square feet (4,510 m2) in One Victory Park; it is the second major tenant to sign a lease for space in the Victory Tower.

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science (shortened to Perot Museum) is a natural history and science museum located in Dallas, Texas in Victory Park. The museum was named in honor of Margot and Ross Perot. The current chief executive officer of the museum is Dr. Linda Abraham-Silver.

The American Museum of the Miniature Arts was a non-profit museum in Dallas, Texas (USA) that focused on miniature art. Much of the museum's collection was previously on display in the Sharp Gallery at the Hall of State at Fair Park.

On the morning of July 24, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, 30-year-old Dallas Police Officer Darrell L. Cain murdered Santos Rodriguez, a 12-year-old Mexican-American child. Officer Cain and Officer Roy R. Arnold were investigating reports of a burglary at a Fina gas station when they took Santos Rodriguez and his 13-year-old brother David Rodriguez from their home for an impromptu interrogation over the burglary. Cain shot Santos Rodriguez while conducting Russian roulette on the brothers in an attempt to force a confession from them. Cain was found guilty of murder with malice, and was sentenced to five years in prison. He was released on September 11, 1979, after serving the minimum two-and-a-half-year sentence.

The Crescent is a postmodern office, hotel, and retail complex located at 200 Crescent Court in Uptown Dallas, Texas, United States. The 10-acre complex was designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and was completed in 1986. The structure has 1,134,826 square feet (100,000 m2) of office space in three office towers, Hotel Crescent Court, and an upscale shopping center including department store Stanley Korshak.

In the past, the company was owned by american oil tycoon Haroldson Lafayette Hunt.It also participates in liquefied natural gas production projects in Yemen (Yemen LNG) and Peru (Peru LNG).Together with Magnum Hunter Resources Corp., the company drills wells in the Eagle Ford Shale Play, located in the Western Gulf Basin in South Texas. Hunt Oil is one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, with $4 billion in 2013 revenues. It is one of several Hunt companies active in energy, real estate, investments, ranching and infrastructure. In 2007 Hunt Oil signed a production sharing contract with the Kurdistan Regional Government to engage in oil and gas exploration and extraction.
