North Carolina Theatre

Raleigh Memorial Auditorium is a historic 2,277-seat performing arts venue located in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Opened in 1932, the massive Neoclassical and Beaux-Arts building serves as the architectural and cultural centerpiece of the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. Situated at the southern terminus of Fayetteville Street, it was intentionally designed to visually complement the North Carolina State Capitol, which sits at the street's northern end.

The Governor's Palace was the official residence of the Governor of North Carolina during the Antebellum period. The governors and their families resided here from 1816 until 1865, when General William Tecumseh Sherman seized the palace during the Civil War and used it as his headquarters. It was demolished in 1885. Raleigh Memorial Auditorium was built on the original site of the palace.

The naming rights to the center currently are held by Martin Marietta. The building naming rights were previously held by Duke Energy (formerly Progress Energy), and by Business Telecom, Inc. Leonard Hall is a historic educational building located on the campus of Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Built in 1881 and originally named Leonard Medical Center, it became known as Leonard Medical School, and then Leonard Hall. It was established when medical schools were professionalizing and was the first medical school in the United States to offer a four-year curriculum. It was also the first four-year medical school that African Americans could attend.The building was named after Judson Wade Leonard, the brother-in-law of Shaw's founder Henry Martin Tupper. Classes began in 1882 and the annual tuition was $60, a substantial sum at the time. It is a contributing part of the East Raleigh-South Park Historic District, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. In 1994 it was designated a North Carolina Historic Landmark. Shaw University is the oldest historically black college in the South and often called the "mother of African-American colleges in North Carolina", because its alumni founded other colleges. It is named after Elijah Shaw, an entrepreneur from Massachusetts who contributed financially for the establishment of the school.On March 31, 1886, it awarded the college's first medical degrees to six men. Leonard Medical Center was one of fourteen medical schools founded in the late 19th century for the education of African-Americans. Describing the history of the building, then-President Talbert O. Shaw said, "For Shaw University and the black community, it stands out as one of the bastions of education for our people. We are very proud of it."

FNB Tower is a 22-story, 358-foot-tall (109 m) skyscraper in Raleigh, North Carolina. The mixed-use development contains 239 luxury apartments along with office and retail space. FNB Tower is located at 501 Fayetteville Street.

Rogers-Bagley-Daniels-Pegues House is a historic home located at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built about 1855, and is a two-story, three bay by two bay, Greek Revival-style frame dwelling with a low hipped roof and Italianate-style accents. It has a hip roofed porch with Doric order posts and bay windows. It was built by Sion Hart Rogers (1825-1874), a Congressman from and Attorney General of North Carolina. It was the home of Josephus Daniels (1862-1948) from about 1894 to 1913.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Pope House Museum, built in 1901, is a restored home once owned by Dr. Manassa Thomas Pope, a prominent African-American citizen of Raleigh, North Carolina. The Pope House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, It was an official project of the Save America’s Treasures Program and the city of Raleigh took over management of it, offering tours for the first time in 2012.

Estey Hall is a historic building on the campus of Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was the first building constructed for the higher education of African-American women in the United States. Built in 1873, Estey Hall is the oldest surviving building at Shaw, which is the oldest historically black college in the South and was the second institution of higher learning established for freedmen after the Civil War. The building, originally known as "Estey Seminary," was named in honor of Jacob Estey, the largest donor to the construction project. Estey Hall, located in the East Raleigh-South Park Historic District, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and is a Raleigh Historic Landmark.

Animate! Raleigh is an annual three-day anime convention held during January at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The convention is organized by GalaxyCon.

The Raleigh Convention Center is a convention and exhibition facility in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina that opened in September 2008. The architect was Tvsdesign with the participation of local firms O'Brien/Atkins Associates and Clearscapes.

Animazement is an annual three-day anime convention held during May at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is traditionally held over Memorial Day weekend. The convention is designed to be family-friendly. Animazement is run by unpaid staff and volunteers.

Two Hannover Square is a 29-story 431.01 ft (131.37 m) skyscraper at 434 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, North Carolina with 433,900 square feet (40,310 m2) of office space. Its major tenant is Truist bank. From its opening in 1991 until the completion of RBC Plaza in 2008, it was Raleigh's tallest building.
