Bradley Palmer

Willowdale Estate was constructed in 1902 as the summer home of wealthy Boston lawyer Bradley Palmer, Willowdale is an Arts and Crafts, Jacobean Revival mansion in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Palmer donated the mansion and the land around it to the State of Massachusetts between 1937 and 1944. While the surrounding area has become Bradley Palmer State Park, the mansion has been a civil defense training academy and is currently leased to the Forsythe-Fandetti family as part of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation's Historic Curatorship Program.

Willowdale State Forest is a Massachusetts state forest located in the towns of Hamilton, Topsfield, and Boxford. The area is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The forest's eastern portion sits on the Ipswich River across from Bradley Palmer State Park.

The Sarah H. Harding House is a historic duplex house in Andover, Massachusetts. It was built in 1846 for Sarah Harding, a single woman who belonged to the locally notable Harding family (for whom Harding Street is named). She had the Greek Revival duplex built to provide housing for single women of modest means at a time when such housing was relatively uncommon. The building is 2.5 stories tall, with entry to both units through matching doors in the center of the six-bay facade. The entranceway features a classical surround, with glass side lights and transom.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Bradley Palmer State Park is a public recreation area covering 736 acres (298 ha) on the Ipswich River in the towns of Hamilton and Topsfield, Massachusetts. The state park was once the estate of noted attorney Bradley Palmer. In addition to an extensive system of multi-use trails, the park features Palmer's restored Willowdale Mansion. The mansion is now home to Willowdale Estate, a premier event venue. Bordered on the north by the Ipswich River and Willowdale State Forest, the park is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

Turner Hill is a historic estate located at 315 Topsfield Road in Ipswich, Massachusetts. It was built for Charles Goodnough Rice and Ann Proctor Rice to a design by Boston architect William Rantoul. Begun in 1898 and completed in 1903, the estate echoed European country estates the couple had seen in their travels. The estate house features extensive plaster molding and detailed woodwork, notably in the reception hall, whose wildlife motifs echo those of Haddonfield Hall in Scotland. Rice died in 1943, and the estate was sold to the Missionaries of La Salette, who established a spiritual retreat on the site. It has since been converted into a golf club, with the main mansion house providing club facilities. In addition to a golf course, the grounds also have a large condominium complex. The estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Stephen Foster House is a historic house in a rural area of Topsfield, Massachusetts. It is a rare instance of a First Period house (built c. 1690) in which its original footprint is still readily discernible, and has not been obscured by subsequent modifications. The only immediately overt exterior indication of the house's great age is the steep pitch of its roof. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wooden house framed with massive oak timbers. It is a "single cell" house, only three asymmetrically placed window bays wide and one room deep, with a chimney on the left side. Its exterior was complete restyled in a 19th-century vernacular style.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, which is one of the Massachusetts Audubon Society’s largest wildlife sanctuaries, is located in Topsfield and Wenham, Massachusetts. Much of its 1,955-acre (7.91 km2) landscape was created by a glacier 15,000 years ago.

Pingree School is a coeducational, independent secondary day school located in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, serving the area north and east of Boston. Its students commute from 50 cities and towns, from as far south as Everett, as far north as Hampton and as far west as the Merrimack Valley.

The French–Andrews House is a historic First Period house in Topsfield, Massachusetts. The oldest elements of the house date to c. 1718, and exhibit construction techniques that are clearly derived from 17th century English methods found in other, older, First Period homes in Massachusetts. It is also notable for some surviving original decorative styling in its downstairs front rooms, and as the subject of early preservation work.When built, the house was a 2+1⁄2-story timber-framed building two rooms wide and one deep, with a central chimney. It was probably built by Joseph Andrews, who purchased the property from John French Sr. In 1919 it underwent a careful restoration under the auspices of preservationist George Francis Dow. Stylistic changes and alterations made in intervening years were removed, and the timber framing was exposed. The in situ First Period decorative elements were preserved, and in some instances replicated in other parts of the house. Dow was also able to apply exterior siding in a manner that was virtually indistinguishable from period siding.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

WNKC (104.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Gloucester, Massachusetts, United States. The station is owned by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF) and carries contemporary Christian music through its K-Love network. WNKC operates as the K-Love station for the North Shore region of Greater Boston, serving portions of the market not covered by K-Love's primary Boston-area station, WKVB (107.3 FM).

Asbury Grove, located in Hamilton, Massachusetts, was formed during the camp meeting religious movement popular in the mid-19th century. Originally set on seventy-five acres of land, the camp was founded by the Methodist church in 1857. Ten of the original seventy-five acres were purchased from Joseph Dodge, a local farmer. This land included a farmhouse, which later became the Superintendent's Cottage.The camp grounds were used in the summer months by Methodist congregations from towns along the North Shore of Massachusetts (such as Lynn, Groveland, and Reading). The camp was named after Bishop Francis Asbury, a prominent member of the Methodist camp meeting circuit in the early 19th century. The camp was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Asbury Grove Historic District in 2009.

The Howe Barn is a historic barn, that has been converted into a house, in Ipswich, Massachusetts, United States. It is important as one of a small number of surviving First Period barn frames in Essex County. Family tradition places the construction of the barn to c. 1711 by Abraham Howe, an early settler of the Linebrook Road area. Elements of the frame, which are still visible in the attic and some areas left exposed during the 1948 conversion to a house, bear some resemblance to a similar period barn at the Stanley Lake House in nearby Topsfield.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
