Strawberry Hill House—often called simply Strawberry Hill—is a Gothic Revival villa that was built in Twickenham, London, by Horace Walpole (1717–1797) from 1749 onward. It is a typical example of the "Strawberry Hill Gothic" style of architecture, and it prefigured the nineteenth-century Gothic Revival. Walpole rebuilt the existing house in stages starting in 1749, 1760, 1772 and 1776. These added Gothic features such as towers and battlements outside and elaborate decoration inside to create "gloomth" to suit Walpole's collection of antiquarian objects, contrasting with the more cheerful or "riant" garden. The interior included a Robert Adam fireplace; parts of the exterior were designed by James Essex. The garden contained a large seat shaped like a Rococo sea shell, which was recreated in the 2012 restoration of the garden, one of the many examples of historic garden conservation in the UK.

St Mary's University, Twickenham is a public university in Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, in South West London committed to the mission of the Catholic Church in higher education. Originally founded in 1850 as a college for training Catholic schoolmasters, it became a constituent college of the University of London Institute of Education in 1949. This affiliation ended in 1976, and its degree courses were then validated by the University of Surrey. Formerly called St Mary's University College, it was granted full university title by the Privy Council on 23 January 2014. Since July 2019, the university has hosted the Mater Ecclesiae College, whose Ecclesiastical faculties enshrined since 2013 in the "Bellarmine Institute" was brought in after the closure of Heythrop College, University of London earlier in 2019.

The Chapel in the Wood is a chapel in the grounds of St Mary's University on Waldegrave Road in the Strawberry Hill part of Twickenham, London. The chapel is an example of early Gothic Revival architecture and is a Grade I listed building.The chapel was built for Horace Walpole in 1772–74 and was in the grounds of his home, Strawberry Hill House. Subsequent building separated the chapel from the house, as the nearest parts of those grounds have been built on with what is now St Mary's University.The roof is of slate and the front is of Portland stone, with a design inspired by a tomb in Salisbury Cathedral. Sir Nikolaus Pevsner described the blue and gold vaulted ceiling as "pretty".

Radnor Gardens is a small public riverside garden and recreation ground in Strawberry Hill, south of Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It has a First World War memorial, a grass area, a bowling green and a children's playground.

Strawberry Hill railway station is in Strawberry Hill in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in south west London, and is in Travelcard Zone 5. It is 12 miles 22 chains (19.8 km) down the line from London Waterloo. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by South Western Railway. The station is equipped with Oyster card swipe terminals. The line through Strawberry Hill (the Kingston Loop) opened in 1863, but Strawberry Hill station did not open until 1 December 1873. The current booking office building on the up, or western, side and the platform canopies date from the 1935 modernisation. Lifting barriers replaced the level crossing swing gates in 1973, the signal box was demolished in 1975. Strawberry Hill train maintenance depot, built in 1897, is inside the triangular junction of the Shepperton Branch Line with the Kingston Loop Line.

Cross Deep House was an 18th-century house, on the banks of the River Thames in Cross Deep, Strawberry Hill, 0.5 miles (0.80 km) south of Twickenham town centre. It was demolished in 1906 and the remains of its grounds form part of present-day Radnor Gardens.

Radnor House was an English 17th-century house on the banks of the River Thames in Cross Deep, Strawberry Hill, London, 0.5 miles (0.80 km) south of Twickenham town centre. It was destroyed by a bomb in 1940, and the remains of house and grounds form part of present-day Radnor Gardens.

Twickenham War Memorial, in Radnor Gardens, Twickenham, London, commemorates the men of the district of Twickenham who died in the First World War. After 1945, the memorial was updated to recognise casualties from the Second World War. The memorial was commissioned by Twickenham Urban District Council in 1921. It was designed by the sculptor Mortimer Brown, and is Brown's only significant public work. The memorial is unusual for its representation of a jubilant soldier returning home. It became a Grade II* listed structure in 2017.

Swan Island is a private mooring island in the Thames at Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, London, England. It is on the Tideway about 3⁄4 mile (1.2 km) north of and thus below Teddington Lock. The island has a commercial boatyard in addition to residential mooring for boats. It is connected to the Twickenham bank by a small bridge, which is suitable for vehicles as well as foot traffic. Originally an osier bed, it measured 1⁄4 acre (0.10 ha) per Ordnance Survey maps of 1897 and 1898.A larger island stood north-west which has become the playground, bowling green, café and park Radnor Gardens, Strawberry Hill/Vale.

The Junior and Senior Girls' Schools are in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, and the Senior Boys' School in Ashford, Surrey. In 2019 The Times UK School Guide ranked St James' Senior Girls School 102nd with 82.1% scoring A*-B at A-Level, and St James' Senior Boys 251st with 75.9% scoring A*- B at A-level.

Pope's villa was the residence of Alexander Pope at Twickenham, then a village west of London in Middlesex. He moved there in 1719 and created gardens and an underground grotto. When Baroness Howe of Langar (1762–1835) purchased the house, she demolished it in 1808 and built a new house next to the site. The house and grotto were topics of 18th- and 19th-century poetry and art. In about 1845, a neo-Tudor house known as Pope's Villa was built on approximately the same site; it has been used as a school since the early 20th century. Pope's Grotto, which is listed Grade II* by Historic England, survives and is occasionally open to the public.
