Grove Farm (grid reference ST513096) is a 36.5 hectare (90.2 acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Somerset, notified in 1989. This site comprises an extensive area of unimproved mesotrophic grassland, a habitat which is now uncommon in Britain.

Hardington Moor (grid reference ST515130) is an 8.7 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest between Hardington Mandeville and West Coker in Somerset, notified in 1994. Hardington Moor National Nature Reserve covers partly calcareous clay-rich soils on sloping ground and comprises three meadows surrounded by established hedges. The meadows are examples of species-rich unimproved neutral grassland, which is now nationally rare. The rare French oat-grass is very abundant on the site and the fields are home to a wide variety of plant species, most notably adder's tongue, corky-fruited water-dropwort and large numbers of green-winged orchid. Invertebrates found at the site include butterflies such as gatekeeper, small tortoiseshell and common blue. Less commonly seen are large skipper, green-veined white and green hairstreak.

Coker Court is a substantial manor house in East Coker, Somerset, England. It was built in the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries and has been designated as a Grade I listed building. It was erected by the Courtney family who were lords of the manor and rectors of the adjacent parish church. The building is constructed from locally quarried Hamstone with roofs composed of stone tiles.

The Manor House in West Coker, Somerset, England has medieval origins, however the earliest surviving portions of the current building probably date from around 1500. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building.

Whitevine Meadows (grid reference ST505085) is a 13.0 hectare (32.0 acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of North and South Perrott in Somerset, notified in 1979. This site consists of a nationally rare type of neutral grassland together with adjoining areas of scrub and ancient woodland. The Whitevine meadow is unusual in being one of only three British localities where the grass Gaudinia fragilis is a prominent and established component of the sward. The scrub provides nest sites for several species of bird, including nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos). Clearings within the scrub support a mixed flora with saw-wort (Serratula tinctoria), yellow-wort (Blackstonia perfoliata) and autumn gentian (Gentianella amarella). These sheltered glades provide favourable climatic conditions for butterflies including marbled white (Melanargia galathea) and silver-washed fritillary (Argynnis paphia).

The Helyar Almshouses were erected between 1640 and 1660 by William Helyar Archdeacon of Barnstable of Coker Court, East Coker, Somerset, England. The building work was interrupted by the plague of 1645, and the English Civil War and the almshouses were not completed until 1660, by which time, the Archdeacon was dead, and the work was completed by his grandson (also William Helyar). In 1868 the almshouses had an income of £46 per annum (equivalent to £4,403 in 2021). It still operates a charity and had an income of £9,313 in 2005.
