WOVI (89.5 MHz) is a full-service high school radio station in Novi, Michigan. One of its slogans is "Real Radio." The station broadcasts from Novi High School with 100 watts. It offers a variety of music hosted by students who are considering life in the radio market after high school. The station was run by David Legg, former head of the broadcasting department at Novi High School.

Novi High School (commonly Novi or NHS) is a public high school in Novi, Michigan, United States in Greater Detroit, serving students in grades 9–12. It is operated by Novi Community School District and was awarded Blue Ribbon School status in 1986-87 and 1999-00. Novi High School currently enrolls 2,020 students and has a 200 member faculty. In addition to its primary purpose, Novi High School also houses adult education and various community recreational events, such as open swim in the swimming pool and basketball games in the gym and fieldhouse.

The Japanese School of Detroit (JSD) (デトロイトりんご会補習授業校, Detoroito Ringo Kai Hoshū Jugyō Kō) is a Saturday-only Japanese supplementary educational school in Metro Detroit. It is often called "Ringo Kai." As of December 2011 it has almost 800 students. The school office is located in Novi Meadows Elementary School, which is the class location of the preschool and elementary school levels. Middle and high school classes are held at Novi High School.The purpose of the Japanese School of Detroit is to provide Japanese children with opportunities to learn the supplementary curricula of the Japanese education in the Japanese language while they stay in the U.S., so that children will adapt themselves back into the Japanese educational environment without much difficulty when they return to Japan. Japanese families stay in the U.S. for 3–5 years on average. As of 2015 it is the world's third largest hoshūkō.

Novi Township is a civil township of Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. At the 2010 census, the township had a population of 150. Of the original 36-square-mile (93 km2) survey township, only a small portion of 0.11 square miles (0.28 km2) remains unincorporated from the surrounding city of Novi. Novi Township is the smallest township in the state by total land area and the third-smallest municipality after the villages of Ahmeek and Copper City.The township consists solely of the Brookland Farms #1 subdivision and is served by the Northville 48167 ZIP Code. Sundai Michigan International Academy (駿台ミシガン国際学院 Sundai Mishigan Kokusai Gakuin), affiliated with the Sundai Center for International Education (駿台国際教育センター Sundai Kokusai Kyōiku Sentā, see 駿台予備学校), is located in Novi, Michigan, in Metro Detroit. The school's purpose is to prepare Japanese children who have lived in the United States for a long time for a return to Japan, and to assist newly arrived Japanese children who have no fluency of English. As of 2008 it was the only Japanese-style year-round school within the State of Michigan; in addition to a day school program, the school has after-school and weekend classes.

Novi ( NOVE-eye) is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. A northwestern suburb of Detroit, Novi is located roughly 25 miles (40.2 km) northwest of downtown Detroit. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 66,243, an increase of 20% from the 2010 census.The city is located within the boundaries of the survey township of Novi Township, which now also includes portions of the cities of Northville and Walled Lake. The Suburban Collection Showplace is a convention center in Novi, Michigan. Located off Interstate 96, about 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Detroit, it is the second-largest convention center in Metro Detroit (after Huntington Place). It is best known as the current location of the Michigan State Fair.

The Motor City Comic Con is a fan convention held in Novi, Michigan, United States, at the Suburban Collection Showplace. It is traditionally a three-day event (Friday through Sunday), usually held in May of each year. The Motor City Comic Con was founded in 1989 by comics retailer Michael Goldman. Though it primarily focuses on comic books, the convention features a large range of pop culture elements, such as film actors, professional wrestling, science fiction/fantasy, film/television, animation, anime, manga, toys, horror, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels. Along with panels, seminars, and workshops with comic book professionals, there are previews of upcoming feature films, portfolio review sessions with top comic book and video game companies, and such evening events as a costume contest. Traditional events include gaming and hours of other programming on all aspects of comic books and pop culture. The Motor City Comic Con features a large floorspace for exhibitors. These include media companies such as movie studios and TV networks, as well as comic-book dealers and collectibles merchants. Like most comics conventions, the show includes an autograph area, as well as the Artists' Alley where comics artists can sign autographs and sell or do free sketches. Despite the name, Artists' Alley can include writers and even glamour models.

Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk is an open-air lifestyle center retail complex located across from the super-regional Twelve Oaks Mall in the city of Novi, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. The center features Dick's Sporting Goods as its anchor store, as well as a movie theater, game room, and several restaurants.
