The Kota Batu Archaeological Park (Malay: Taman Arkeologi Kota Batu) is an archaeological park in Kampong Kota Batu, about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The Bruneian government's Museums Department is in charge of overseeing the Kota Batu archeological site and its surrounds, which comprise the mausoleums and the museum area, as they were gazetted under the Antiquities and Treasure Trove Act of 1967, and is regarded as a significant archeological site in Brunei. From the 14th to the 17th centuries, Kota Batu is said to have been the capital of Brunei, acting as a major hub for settlement, trade, and government. Research on the site's flora and fauna is important, as ethno-archaeological investigations have shown how skilled the locals were at employing plants for construction, industry, medicine, and sustenance. The archaeological park has basic services such rest areas, public restrooms, and parking spaces in addition to a 1,580 metres (5,180 ft) promenade, rest huts, and a bridge connecting to Terindak Island.

The museum has been closed since 2014 for repairs and upgrade, and was expected to reopen in 2020, but remains closed in 2022. The museum published the first Brunei Museum Journal, an academic journal in 1969, which is an annual feature now.

Bubungan Dua Belas (in Malay bubungan (or bum bungan) is roof, dua belas is twelve) or House of Twelve Roofs is located in Jalan Residency, at the foot of Bukit Subok Forest Reserve Recreational Park and about one mile from south of the center of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It was formerly the official residence of British residents and high commissioners in Brunei and was built in 1906 during the tenure of the first resident Malcolm Stewart Hannibal McArthur. Bubungan Dua Belas exemplifies the fusion of Brunei Malay architectural elements with Western influences, a transformation that was also shaped by the shift to onland living during the Residency period in Brunei. It is one of the oldest surviving building in Bandar Seri Begawan. It served as a gallery that exhibits the long-standing relationship between the sultanate and the United Kingdom. The museum is currently closed for renovations.

Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge (Malay: Jambatan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha), RIPAS Bridge for short and commonly known as Sungai Kebun Bridge (Malay: Jambatan Sungai Kebun), is a cable-stayed bridge which connects the City Centre and Sungai Kebun in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is named after Queen Saleha, the queen consort of the current Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. The cable-stayed bridge is the first of its kind in Brunei. It was officially inaugurated on 14 October 2017. It is the second-longest single-pylon cable-stayed bridge in the world.
