Fly Mountain

Pink Hill is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York south-southeast of Kingston. Fly Mountain is located southeast, and Golden Hill is located northeast of Pink Hill.

Bloomington is a hamlet in Ulster County, New York, United States. The community is located along New York State Route 32, 4.1 miles (6.6 km) south-southwest of Kingston. Bloomington has a post office with ZIP code 12411, which opened on July 20, 1897.

Hillside is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 860 at the 2020 census. It is located just south of the city of Kingston, and the Town of Ulster.

Golden Hill is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York south of Kingston. Fly Mountain is located south-southwest, and Pink Hill is located southwest of Golden Hill.

Hurley is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in the Town of Hurley, Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 3,346 at the 2020 census. Hurley is a community near the eastern town line of the Town of Hurley. Much of the hamlet is within the Hurley Historic District, a National Historic Landmark.

Mount Zion Cemetery (c. 1856–1967) is a historic African-American cemetery owned by the A.M.E. Zion Church of Kingston. The cemetery is on a 2.4-acre (0.97 ha) lot located at 190 South Wall Street in the city of Kingston. It is in the city's Fifth Ward, less than a mile south of the church.

The Wallkill River, a tributary of the Hudson, drains Lake Mohawk in Sparta, New Jersey, flowing from there generally northeasterly 88.3 miles (142.1 km) to Rondout Creek in New York, just downstream of Sturgeon Pool, near Rosendale, with the combined flows reaching the Hudson at Kingston. The river is unusual because it flows north between two major south-flowing rivers, the Hudson and the Delaware River. It also has the unusual distinction of being a river that drains into a creek, due to being impounded shortly before the Rondout confluence into a small body of water called Sturgeon Pool near Rifton, and what reaches the Rondout from there is the lesser flow.

Hurley is a town in Ulster County, New York, United States. The population was 6,178 at the 2020 census. The town is in the northeastern part of the county, west of the city of Kingston. Much of the town is inside the Catskill Park. Located within the town is a hamlet and census-designated place, also named Hurley. The Town of Hurley comprises the hamlets of Hurley, West Hurley and Glenford.

John A. Coleman Catholic High School was a private, Roman Catholic high school in Hurley, New York. It was under the control of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York until 2001. From its inception in 1966 until its closing on August 31, 2019, Coleman Catholic educated students in grades 9–12.

The Tobias Van Steenburgh House is located on Wall Street (NY 32) in Kingston, New York, United States. It is a stone house built around the beginning of the 18th century. It was one of the few buildings in Kingston not burned by the British in 1777. A large plaque on the front of the house notes this. In 1999 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Hurley Historic District encompasses the center of the hamlet of Hurley, the main settlement area of the town of Hurley, New York. Stretched along US 209, the hamlet includes one of the finest concentrations of colonial Dutch architecture in the United States. Settled by the Dutch in the 17th century, its architecture has retained the influence of that period. The village is also historically significant as a temporary home of the seat of New York government during the American Revolutionary War. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961.

The Boice House is located on Fair Street in Kingston, New York, United States. It was first built around 1850 in the Greek Revival architectural style. Twenty years later, it was bought by Hewett Boice, a local quarry operator. He had the house refurbished in the then-popular Second Empire style. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
