First Old School Baptist Church of Roxbury and Vega Cemetery is a historic Baptist church and cemetery located at Roxbury in Delaware County, New York. The church was built in 1856 in a Greek Revival style and is a rectangular, front gabled frame building in the meeting house form. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. This building is currently a venue of the Roxbury Arts Group and is used seasonally for acoustic performances. The Roxbury Arts Group is located in the hamlet of Roxbury on 5025 Vega Mountain Road. Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Roxbury in Delaware County, New York. The district contains 86 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, three contributing structures, and one contributing object. The southern end of the district is dominated by the Gothic Revival style Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church (1892), the Roxbury Central School (1939), and the Kirkside estate. Located nearby is a Greek Revival style Methodist church erected in 1858. Financier Jay Gould was raised nearby and in the 1890s began an interest in the development of Roxbury. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Ulster and Delaware Railroad Depot and Mill Complex is a historic railroad depot and national historic district located at Roxbury in Delaware County, New York. The district contains five contributing buildings and one contributing structure. It was developed between about 1876 and 1946 and includes the Ulster and Delaware Railroad Depot, Robinson and Preston Steam Flour and Feed Mill, Slawson-Decker-Sheffield Co Creamery, Ulster and Delaware Railroad Ice House, and George M. Orr Blacksmith Shop. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The Ulster & Delaware Railroad Historical Society operates the Roxbury Depot Museum in the railroad station.

Red Kill Ridge is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York northeast of Denver. It is also referred to as Butternut Mountain. It is named after the nearby Red Kill. Cator Roundtop is located northwest, White Man Mountain is located north, and Red Mountain is located north of Red Kill Ridge.

Woodchuck Lodge is a historic house on Burroughs Memorial Road in a remote part of the western Catskills in Roxbury, New York. Built in the mid-19th century, it was the last home of naturalist and writer John Burroughs (1837–1921) from 1908, and is the place of his burial. The property is now managed by the state of New York as the John Burroughs Memorial State Historic Site, and the house is open for tours on weekends between May and October. The property is a National Historic Landmark, designated in 1962 for its association with Burroughs, one of the most important nature writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
