The Ulster & Delaware Railroad Historical Society is a chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (NRHS). It focuses on the history of the railroads and related social, economic, and cultural institutions of the Catskill and Hudson Valley regions. That history, which began with the charter of the Catskill & Ithaca Railroad in 1828, encompasses numerous proposed and built railroads and trolley lines within Ulster, Delaware, Greene, Schoharie, Albany and Otsego counties.

Woodchuck Lodge is a historic house on Burroughs Memorial Road in a remote part of the western Catskills in Roxbury, New York. Built in the mid-19th century, it was the last home of naturalist and writer John Burroughs (1837–1921) from 1908, and is the place of his burial. The property is now managed by the state of New York as the John Burroughs Memorial State Historic Site, and the house is open for tours on weekends between May and October. The property is a National Historic Landmark, designated in 1962 for its association with Burroughs, one of the most important nature writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Ulster and Delaware Railroad Depot and Mill Complex is a historic railroad depot and national historic district located at Roxbury in Delaware County, New York. The district contains five contributing buildings and one contributing structure. It was developed between about 1876 and 1946 and includes the Ulster and Delaware Railroad Depot, Robinson and Preston Steam Flour and Feed Mill, Slawson-Decker-Sheffield Co Creamery, Ulster and Delaware Railroad Ice House, and George M. Orr Blacksmith Shop. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The Ulster & Delaware Railroad Historical Society operates the Roxbury Depot Museum in the railroad station.

Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Roxbury in Delaware County, New York. The district contains 86 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, three contributing structures, and one contributing object. The southern end of the district is dominated by the Gothic Revival style Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church (1892), the Roxbury Central School (1939), and the Kirkside estate. Located nearby is a Greek Revival style Methodist church erected in 1858. Financier Jay Gould was raised nearby and in the 1890s began an interest in the development of Roxbury. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Roxbury is a town in Delaware County, New York, United States. The population was 2,247 at the 2020 census. The town is at the eastern end of the county.

Second Old School Baptist Church of Roxbury is a historic Baptist church building on City Rd. 41 in Roxbury, Delaware County, New York. It is a 2-story, three-by-four-bay wood-frame building constructed in 1832–1833. The interior features a traditional meeting house plan. Also on the property is a small frame outhouse built about 1870, a three-step fieldstone carriage step, and cemetery. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

White Man Mountain is a mountain located in the Catskill Mountains of New York south-southwest of Grand Gorge. Hack Flats is located east of White Man Mountain and Red Mountain is located south.

Hack Flats is a flat located in the Catskill Mountains of New York south-southwest of Grand Gorge. White Man Mountain is located west, Roundtop is located east-northeast, and Red Mountain is located southwest of Hack Flats.
