The Roman Catholic Diocese of Daejeon (Latin: Dioecesis Taeieonensis, Hangul: 천주교 대전교구) is a diocese of the Latin Church of the Catholic church in South Korea. It is the diocese for Daejeon, South Korea. Augustinus Kim Jong-soo has been appointed its bishop; Stephanus Han Jung-hyun is auxiliary bishop.

The Daejeon Hanbat Baseball Stadium, also known as the Hanwha Life Eagles Park due to sponsorship reasons, is a baseball park in Daejeon, South Korea. The stadium is located in the vicinity of Daejeon Station. Located in Daejeon Hanbat Sports Complex with other main sports facilities in Daejeon, it is currently used as the primary home ballpark of Hanwha Eagles of the KBO League. Built in 1964, the ballpark was once nicknamed as the "Ping-Pong Table" for having the smallest outfield dimension among professional ballparks in South Korea. But the ballpark underwent a series of large scale renovations with capacity extension from 2011 winter to 2012 spring, and outfield expansion in the winter of 2012. After the renovation, the ballpark had a second-largest outfield dimension in South Korea at the time, and a seating capacity of 13,000.From 1982 to 1984, it was the home ballpark of the OB Bears. In 1986, the Binggrae Eagles debuted as the KBO's seventh franchise, and they took on Daejeon Hanbat Baseball Stadium as their home.

Daejeon Hanbat Sports Complex (Korean: 대전한밭종합운동장) is a sports complex, comprising a multi-purpose stadium (including athletic facilities and a soccer pitch), a ballpark, Basketball courts, tennis courts and various other sports facilities in Daejeon, South Korea.

Jung District (Jung-gu, Korean:중구, 中區) is a gu in southern central Daejeon, South Korea. The population is 227,108 as of 2022. Jung-gu Office Station (Korean: 중구청역; Hanja: 中區廳驛) is a station of the Daejeon Metro Line 1 in Seonhwa-dong, Jung District, Daejeon, South Korea.

Seodaejeon station, meaning "West Daejeon station", is on the normal speed Honam Line, 161 km south of Yongsan Station.

Jungangno Station (Korean: 중앙로역; Hanja: 中央路驛) is a station of Daejeon Metro Line 1 in Eunhang-dong, Jung District, Daejeon, South Korea. This structure is the same as that of the metropolitan area train line 1 in Lee Moon-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. In other words, it is the same as that of the island-style platform. As a result, it looks like a mixed type, but it is a two-sided two-wire type. Platform safety screen doors have been installed. It is located between Daejeon Station and Jung-gu Office Station of Daejeon Urban Railway Line 1. It is 4.0 kilometres (2.5 mi) away from Panam. It is connected with Daejeon station which is a train station, and there are many passengers with convenient transportation.
