Liebesinsel (Lake Constance)

Mettnau is a peninsula, located east of the town of Radolfzell in the western part of Lake Constance. It lies between the Markelfingen corner in the north and the Zeller See in the south and has a length of 3.5 kilometers and a width of up to 800 meters, a size of 140 hectares.A large part of the peninsula is a nature reserve. The Nature Reserve Mettnau includes a small island name Love Island. It is managed by Naturschutzbund Deutschland on behalf of the Regierungsbezirk of Freiburg. A spa is located on the island, and a field station of the Bird observatory Radolfzell.

Markelfingen station (German: Bahnhof Allensbach) is a railway station in Markelfingen in the municipality of Radolfzell am Bodensee, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on the standard gauge High Rhine Railway line of Deutsche Bahn and is served solely by regional trains.

The Markelfinger Winkel is the part of Lake Constance between the upper part of the Mettnau Peninsula and Markelfingen. It is the northwestern continuation of the Gnadensee and its parent lake, the Untersee ("Lower Lake Constance"). It has an area of around one square kilometre.

The Zeller See (Standard German of Germany; Swiss Standard German: Zellersee; could be translated as "Lake of Radolfzell") is part of the Lower Lake, the lower part of Lake Constance. It lies in the bay of Radolfzell, and between the peninsula of Mettnau to the north and the peninsula of Höri to the south. To the west it is bounded by the ried of the Radolfzeller Aach.The Zeller See has a maximum depth of 22 metres.

Horn (am Bodensee) is a village in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is administratively part of the town of Gaienhofen in the Konstanz district.

The Untersee (German for Lower Lake), also known as Lower Lake Constance, is the smaller of the two lakes that together form Lake Constance and forms part of the boundary between Switzerland and Germany.

The Konzertsegel (Concert sail) is an open-air stage on the shore beside Lake Constance in the town of Radolfzell. It was built in 1989 and is in the shape of a large sail made to look like a fishing net. It is a protected monument.

Its current area is approximately 115 hectares (280 acres) with an average depth of 8 metres (26 ft). it extends approximately 2,200 metres (1.4 mi) in a northwest-southeast direction with a width of around 570 metres (1,870 ft).

Radolfzell station (German: Bahnhof Radolfzell) is the main railway station in the municipality of Radolfzell am Bodensee, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is an important junction station in the western part of Lake Constance (Bodensee). The station is located along the standard gauge High Rhine Railway line and is also the western terminus of the Radolfzell–Mengen railway line (the latter connects with the Stahringen–Friedrichshafen railway line at Stahringen). It is therefore one of the main nodal points of the Lake Constance Belt Railway (Bodensee-Gürtelbahn).

Radolfzell am Bodensee is a town in Germany at the western end of Lake Constance approximately 18 km northwest of Konstanz. It is the third largest town, after Constance and Singen, in the district of Konstanz, in Baden-Württemberg. Radolfzell is a well-known health care town (Mettnau) and an important railway junction of the High Rhine Railway and the Hegau-Ablach Valley Railway (leading to the Stahringen–Friedrichshafen railway). In 1990 Radolfzell was named the Federal Environment Capital City of Germany.

The Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul (German: Basilika St. Peter und Paul ) also called Reichenau Basilica It is a Catholic church of Romanesque style located in the island of Reichenau in Niederzell in the municipality of Reichenau to the south of Germany.The first church dedicated to St. Peter in this place was built in 799 by the Egino bishop of Verona, who had retired to a monastery here in the territory of the abbey of Reichenau, after having ruled the diocese of Verona, where he died in The 802. The church consists of a room of worship with a single apse, which had to be very richly adorned, as evidenced by the ornamental reliefs that remained in the present northern aisle of the temples. The remains (not visible) of the mural paintings of the Carolingian period show that the walls of the church originally had a great artistic wealth. However, after two fires the backbone of the temple collapsed around 1080 and in the ancient foundations, maintaining the original measurements, a basilica was built without a transept. The last work on the cover of the new church goes back to 1134. An important restructuring of the interior space took place in the years 1750/60.

Gaienhofen is a municipality in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It is located at the border with Switzerland. Since 1974, Gaienhofen consists of four villages: Gaienhofen, Gundholzen, Hemmenhofen and Horn. Attractions, apart from the Lake of Constance, include the Hermann-Hesse-Höri-Museum and the Museum Haus Dix.
