Lawrence Hospital (Massachusetts)

The Everett Mills are a group of buildings consisting of the Everett and Stone Mills in Lawrence, Massachusetts. A former cotton textile mill, it was the site of the start of the Bread and Roses strike in 1912 and the one time workplace of Robert Frost.

Holy Trinity Parish - designated for Polish immigrants in Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States. Founded 1905. It was one of the Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England in the Archdiocese of Boston.The parish closed November 1, 2004.

The buildings at 24–30 Summer St. are a series of brick rowhouses in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The three story Second Empire residences were built in 1877 for Joseph Bushnell and E. S. Yates as rental properties. They consist of four units, arranged in mirror-image pairs. Within each pair the entrances are in the center, and there is a projecting bay section on the outside, which rises to the top of the second floor, where the mansard roof begins. There are single-window dormers projecting from the roof above the doorways, and double-window dormers above the bay. Both the larger dormers and the entrances have segmented-arch settings. The doorways are flanked by decorative brickwork, and there are corbelled brickwork courses above the first and second-floor windows. The buildings have had only minor exterior alteration since their construction.The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Engine House No. 6 is a historic firehouse at 480 Howard Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Built in 1895-96 to a design by John Ashton, the Colonial Revival brick building is the oldest firehouse building in the city, and its design was used in the development of other city fire stations. Shuttered by budget cuts in 2009, it was reopened in 2012, and continues to serve its original purpose. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The John R. Rollins School is a historic school at 451 Howard Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The three story brick structure was built in 1892 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, and is a prominent feature of the Prospect Hill neighborhood, visible from nearby Interstate 495. It is named for John Rodman Rollins (1817-1892), a local politician who served both as mayor and superintendent of schools.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is still in use as a school.

Essex Company Machine Shop, also known as Stone Mill or the Lawrence Machine Shop, is a historic machine shop on Union Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts. It was built in 1846 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

The Mechanics Block Historic District is a historic district at 107–139 Garden St. and 6–38 Orchard Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts. It encompasses two segments of brick rowhouses that are back-to-back. The rowhouses are 2+1⁄2-story brick buildings, organized into mirror-image pairs, with a single gable-roof dormer piercing the side-gable roofs for each unit. They were built in 1847 by the Essex Company (the development arm of the Lawrence mill operators) as worker housing.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and expanded in 1978.

The Essex Company Offices and Yard, at 6 Essex Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, are the historic headquarters of the Essex Company, which was responsible for Lawrence's founding in 1847 and development in the 19th century. These facilities were built in 1883–84, and consist of a street-facing office building and four others: a carpenter's shop, foundry, garage, and storage building. They were designed by Hiram Mills, the Essex Company's chief engineer. It is currently the home of the Lawrence History Center's Immigrant City Archives and Museum. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and included in the North Canal Historic District in 1984.

The Spicket River is a 17.7-mile-long (28.5 km) river located in New Hampshire and Massachusetts in the United States. It is a left tributary of the Merrimack River, part of the Gulf of Maine watershed. It is sometimes spelled "Spickett".The Spicket River begins at the outlet of Island Pond in Derry, New Hampshire, and flows south into Salem, New Hampshire, passing through the Arlington Mill Reservoir. The river continues through Salem, encountering copious suburban development, and enters the city of Methuen, Massachusetts, where it drops nearly 100 feet (30 m) in elevation over a series of dams on its way to the Merrimack River in Lawrence.

The Pemberton Mill was a large factory in Lawrence, Massachusetts. It suddenly collapsed and occupants were crushed or burned alive on January 10, 1860, in what has been called "the worst industrial accident in Massachusetts history" and "one of the worst industrial calamities in American history." An estimated 88 to 145 workers were killed and 166 injured.Investigators attributed the disaster to substandard construction that was then drastically overloaded with second-floor equipment, all evident and preventable. The event was cited in improvements to industrial construction and workplace safety. The mill was soon rebuilt in place.

Jackson Terrace Historic District is a historic district in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Jackson Terrace, located on the east side of Camapgnone Common, was developed as a residential extension of the Common, with a small central park area ringed by residences. The houses that line it are distinctive renditions of Italianate, Second Empire, and Queen Anne architecture.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Grace Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church building at Common and Jackson Streets in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The site on which it as built has been used for religious facilities since 1846, around the time of Lawrence's founding. This simple Gothic Revival stone structure was built in 1852, replacing an earlier wooden chapel, and was enlarged in 1892. The church is also notable for its association with the Lawrence family: William Lawrence, grandson of founder Abbott Lawrence, became its minister in 1876.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
