Capital Region International Airport (IATA: LAN, ICAO: KLAN, FAA LID: LAN), formerly Lansing Capital City Airport, is a public, Class C airport located 3 miles (5 km) northwest of downtown Lansing in a portion of DeWitt Township, Michigan that has been annexed to the City of Lansing via Public Act 425. Small areas of the airport are located in Watertown Township, and Delta Township. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a non-hub primary commercial service facility.The airport is owned and operated by the Capital Region Airport Authority, an eight-member governing board. Three members represent Ingham County and three members represent the City of Lansing. Two ex officio members represent Eaton County and Clinton County. The Airport Authority also oversees nearby Jewett Field (TEW) in Mason.The Airport Authority reported 180,385 scheduled passengers and 8,085 charter passengers flew to or from the airport in 2021.

Edgemont Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located within Lansing Charter Township. The population was 2,358 at the 2010 census.

The Lansing Craft Center (LCC) was a specialized General Motors automobile assembly factory in Lansing Township, Michigan located at 2801 West Saginaw Street across from GM's Lansing Metal Center.

Metro Ice Arena was a 4,600-capacity, 34,000 square foot indoor arena located in Lansing, Michigan. It hosted the International Hockey League's Lansing Lancers in the 1974–75 season. The venue was converted to a movie theater in the early 1980s.

Waverly is an unincorporated community in Eaton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes and has no legal status as a municipality. The population was 23,925 at the 2010 census, up from 16,194 at the 2000 census. Waverly is home to the Lansing Mall and Waverly Community Schools. The community is within Delta Charter Township and adjacent to the city of Lansing and Lansing Charter Township. The Lansing ZIP code 48917 serves the area defined by the Waverly CDP.

Lansing Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Delta Charter Township, Michigan, United States, just outside Lansing, the state capital of Michigan. Opened in July 1969, the same year as its crosstown competitor Meridian Mall, Lansing Mall consists of 830,052 square feet (77,114.4 m2) of gross leasable area, with approximately 60 stores and restaurants, as well as a food court. Its original anchor stores were Wurzburg's, Federal's, and Montgomery Ward. Only three years after opening, Wurzburg's and Federal's were replaced by J.W. Knapp Company (Knapp's) and Robert Hall Village respectively. In 1979, the Robert Hall space was then vacated as part of an expansion project that also added a new mall wing ending in Hudson's, while J. C. Penney replaced Knapp's a year later and Mervyn's joined in 1987. The mall's anchor stores remained unchanged between then and the first decade of the 21st century: Hudson's was renamed to Marshall Field's, which itself later became Macy's, while the bankrupted Montgomery Ward and Mervyn's were replaced with Younkers and a Regal Entertainment Group movie theater. Following the closures of Macy's and Younkers, the mall's only operational anchor store is J. C. Penney. Other major tenants include Dunham's Sports, Barnes & Noble, a food court, and a 12-screen movie theater. The mall is managed and owned by Kohan Retail Investment Group.

The Lansing Metal Center was a General Motors foundry located in Lansing Township, Michigan directly across Saginaw Street from the Lansing Craft Center. It was originally built as a jet engine manufacturing plant in 1952 and shuttered in 2006.Upon its closing, the plant was 1,590,000 square feet (148,000 m2) in size, and employed 1,200. General Motors began the demolition of the plant in February 2008 along with the Lansing Craft Center, when all operations were transferred to the nearby Lansing Delta Township facility.

Waverly Senior High School or known just as Waverly High School is located in Waverly, Michigan, an unincorporated community in Delta Township. As of February 2013 the school had 1,060 students in 9th to 12th grade.In 1963, the Waverly High School would be founded specifically for 10th and 11th graders. And in 1985, freshman would join the High School.Waverly offers football, basketball, baseball, tennis, hockey, soccer, swimming, girls golf, cheer leading, bowling, and cross country. Students are also able to receive letters for academic achievement while participating in sports.

DeWitt High School is a public high school in the city of DeWitt, Michigan, United States. It is managed by the DeWitt Public Schools district.

The Michigan School for the Blind (MSB) was a state-operated school for blind children in Michigan. Its former academic campus is at 715 W. Willow Street in Lansing, Michigan, and is now The Abigail, a senior apartment complex. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. For other portions of its history the school was in Flint.

New Covenant Christian School (NCCS) is a private Christian school located in Lansing, Michigan United States. Their address is 4415 W. St. Joseph Hwy. Lansing, MI 48917 The school was founded in 1984, and has currently about 150 co-ed Kindergarten through 12th grade students.
