River Ledge Historic District

Grand Ledge is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. The city lies mostly within Eaton County, though a small portion extends into Clinton County to the north. The city sits along the Grand River 12.7 miles (20.4 kilometers) west of downtown Lansing. The population was 7,786 at the 2010 census. The city is named for its sandstone rock ledges that rise 40 feet (12 m) above the Grand River and are used by recreational rock climbers.

The Grand Ledge Chair Company Plant is a historic building at 101 Perry Street in Grand Ledge, Michigan, United States. It was built in 1906 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The building has been refurbished into the Riverwalk Apartments.

Oneida Charter Township is a charter township of Eaton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,986 at the 2020 United States Census, up from 3,865 in 2010.

Wacousta is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Clinton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The CDP is located within Watertown Charter Township. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 1,440.

Delta Charter Township, officially known as the Charter Township of Delta and commonly known as simply Delta Township, is a charter township of Eaton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 33,119 making it the most populous municipality in Eaton County. The township operates its own fire department, but contracts with the Eaton County Sheriff Department for police protection. The township is a major community in metropolitan Lansing.

Lansing Delta Township Assembly (LDT) is a General Motors automobile assembly factory in Delta Township, Michigan, on land that is shared by the township and the nearby city of Lansing. It manufactures GM's full-size crossover SUVs. Completed in 2006, the factory measures 3,400,000 square feet (320,000 m2) in size, and employed 3,634 hourly workers and 262 salaried workers as of 2010. The adjacent Lansing Regional Stamping employed 243 hourly workers, and 17 salary workers for a total of 4,156 workers in the factory complex. Its workers are represented by UAW 602 and 652, respectively, and assumed operations of the former Lansing Metal Center and the Lansing Craft Centre when they closed.

Lansing Engine Plant was a General Motors automotive engine plant located in Delta Township, Michigan. Constructed in 1981, it was originally constructed to create diesel counterparts of GM's gasoline engines, though, by the next year, GM had abandoned the project. By 1987, the plant was producing the Quad-4 engine, and in 2002 the EcoTec engine, but was closed that same year. GM sold the plant to Ashley Capital in 2005 who then leased it out to auto parts supplier Ryder Logistics.

Lake Interstate is a 20-acre (8.1 ha) fishing lake located in Eaton County, Michigan. The lake got its name due to its close proximity to Interstate 69 - with the eastern shoreline being about 100 feet (30 m) from the highway.

Watertown Charter Township is a charter township of Clinton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,836 in the 2010 census, which was an increase from 4,162 at the 2000 census.

Lake Delta is a 40-acre (16 ha) lake in Delta Township, Michigan, just a few miles southwest of the state's capitol of Lansing, in Eaton County. Running adjacent to the lake is Interstate 96 (I-96) to the west, and Interstate 69 to the northwest.

Fox Park Public Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the Eaton County Parks Department and local amateur astronomers. Built in 1999, it is located in Fox Memorial Park near Potterville, Michigan (US).
