Fort Richmond Collegiate (Commonly known as FRC or Fort Richmond) is a public high school located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Fort Richmond Collegiate is one of 35 schools in the Pembina Trails School Division. The school offers instruction in English, grades 10–12.

St. Norbert is a former provincial electoral division in the Canadian province of Manitoba.

St. Norbert (French: Saint-Norbert) is a bilingual (French and English) neighbourhood and the southernmost suburb of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. While outside the Perimeter Highway (the orbital road that surrounds most of Winnipeg), it is still part of the city. As of the 2016 Census, the population of St. Norbert is 5,850. The community is home to the St. Norbert Farmers' Market, drawing large crowds from Winnipeg and the surrounding area. Other attractions include the St. Norbert Provincial Heritage Park, and the St. Norbert Arts and Cultural Centre. St. Norbert is the closest community to the Red River Floodway gates. St. Norbert is also part of the larger Winnipeg city ward of St. Norbert - Seine River, which includes much of the Fort Garry South neighbourhood cluster and a small part of St. Vital. Federally, the area is part of the Winnipeg South electoral district; provincially, it is part of the Seine River district.

Trappist Monastery Provincial Park is a provincial park in the St. Norbert area of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is 20,000 m2 (4.9 acres) in size.Designated a provincial park by the Government of Manitoba in 2002, it is considered to be a Class V protected area under the IUCN protected area management categories.

Victoria General Hospital is a general hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada founded in 1911. Originally it was located at 424 River Ave. in Osborne Village. Construction tenders were issued in July 1968 for a 7-storey, 250-bed facility. In January 1971 it moved to its present location, 2340 Pembina Hwy., in Fort Richmond beside the University of Manitoba. Today, it is a community hospital with 231 beds and employs more than 1,200 people.

Waverley West is a city ward and suburb in southwest Winnipeg, Manitoba. The area was approved by the Government of Manitoba in 2005, and is scheduled to be constructed over a 20-year period. With a projected population of 40 000 in 2009, the suburb, were it to be a separate city, would be the third-largest city in the province.The ward falls into the broader Fort Garry area of Winnipeg.

Waverley Heights is a neighbourhood in the Waverley West ward of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is bordered on the north by Bishop Grandin Boulevard, on the west by Waverley Street, on the south by Bison Drive, and on the east by Pembina Highway. Waverley Heights occupies approximately 2.0 square kilometres (0.8 sq. mi). Most of the dwellings are single-detached, with approximately 40% being semi-detached, row, or apartment style dwellings. The population of Waverley Heights was 5,180 in 2016. The first homes in Waverley Heights were built in 1974 and the last home was built in 2001.

The Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex, originally known as the Winnipeg Soccer Complex, is a multi-use stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is currently used mostly for soccer matches. The main pitch, John Scouras Field, holds 2,000 spectators. The complex replaced Alexander Park as the main soccer venue in Winnipeg. It has also hosted some matches for the Canada men's national soccer team. The complex was renamed in 2016, in honor of Ralph Cantafio, a local soccer executive and pioneer for the sport in the province of Manitoba.

University Stadium is a multipurpose stadium located on the campus grounds of the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It features a 400m 8-lane track, as well as separate areas for long jump/triple jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, hammer, shot put, and javelin. Inside the track is a large natural grass field used for football and soccer. The stadium was home to the Manitoba Bisons football program until the team relocated next door to Investors Group Field in 2013.

IG Field (formerly Investors Group Field) is an outdoor stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The stadium, which opened in 2013, is located on the University of Manitoba campus next to University Stadium.Owned by Triple B Stadium Inc., a consortium of the City of Winnipeg, the Province of Manitoba, the Winnipeg Football Club and the University of Manitoba, the stadium is home to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). It is also home to Valour FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL), the University of Manitoba Bisons football team, and the Winnipeg Rifles (CJFL), and was a host stadium of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. The stadium has a capacity of 33,134 and is partially covered. The stadium contains a corrugated metal roof, restaurant, 52 suites, walk of fame and other amenities.

The La Salle is a river in Manitoba, Canada, with its source near Portage la Prairie and terminating in the Red River in Saint Norbert (southern Winnipeg). The La Salle River flows mainly through agricultural land. It is a slow-moving, meandering prairie river with variable depth. It is the primary river that flows throughout most of the rural municipality of Macdonald. On older maps, the river is named la Rivière Sale, la Rivière Salle, Salle River, or Stinking River.

The Fort Garry Historical Society was a non-profit organization formed in 1971 and folded in 2016, it mandate was to foster the preservation of heritage sites in St. Norbert and Fort Garry in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The museum is affiliated with CMA, CHIN, and Virtual Museum of Canada.
