Glen is an unincorporated village in the town of Bartlett in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The village is the home of Story Land, a popular amusement park in the Mount Washington Valley region, a resort area that also includes the communities of North Conway and Jackson. Glen is found at the intersection of U.S. Route 302 and New Hampshire Route 16, 5 miles (8.0 km) north of the center of North Conway and 6 miles (9.7 km) east of the center of Bartlett. Routes 302 and 16 travel north in a concurrency from North Conway and diverge in Glen. Route 16 continues north through Pinkham Notch to the communities of Gorham and Berlin, while Route 302 travels west through Crawford Notch towards western New Hampshire and into Vermont. The village has a separate ZIP code (03838) from the rest of the town of Bartlett.

Story Land is a theme park located in Glen, New Hampshire, which opened in 1954. The park is meant to appeal to children up to the pre-teen ages.

Roar-o-Saurus is a wooden roller coaster located at Story Land in Glen, New Hampshire, United States. The coaster was designed and built by American wooden coaster design firm The Gravity Group. The ride has been well received by enthusiasts for featuring a thrilling experience despite its small size. Themed to a triceratops, the ride features a 40-foot-tall (12 m) chain lift hill with a 38-foot (12 m) drop, and a top speed of 33 mph (53 km/h).

Goodrich Falls is a populated place in the town of Bartlett along the Ellis River in Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. The falls were featured in stereoscopic images in the 19th century including by Kilburn Brothers and Nathan W. Pease. New Hampshire Route 16 bridges the river just upstream from the falls. The Goodrich Falls Hydroelectric Plant was completed in 1935. It was built by Edwin Moody, owner of the Black Mountain Ski Area (then known as Moody's), and Phil Robertson. Moody and local inventor George Morton constructed one of the first ski lifts in New Hampshire and used the plant to power the lift and lodge. Goodrich Falls Hydroelectric Corporation took over the plant in 1977.In 1899, the town of Jackson paid the Goodrich Falls Electric Company to illuminate Honeymoon Bridge, a wooden covered bridge over the Ellis River.

The Ellis River is a 16-mile-long (26 km) river in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Saco River, which flows to the Atlantic Ocean in Maine. The Ellis River rises in a wetland at the height of land in Pinkham Notch, at the eastern base of Mount Washington, the highest peak in the northeastern United States. Flowing south, it is quickly joined by the Cutler River flowing out of Tuckerman Ravine.The river soon leaves the level ground at the high point of the notch by dropping 64 feet (20 m) over Glen Ellis Falls. The falls are a short walk from Route 16, the highway through the notch. A U.S. Forest Service parking area, not far from the top of the falls, gives access to a well-maintained, hard-surfaced, short trail hugging the river to a point at the top of the falls, where there is a lookout nearly straight down into the gorge, and then the trail proceeds by a steep descent of stairs to the deep pool at the base of the falls. The river continues south into the town of Jackson, New Hampshire, through a gradually widening valley, where it is joined by Wildcat Brook. Leaving the small intervale at Jackson village, the Ellis River drops over a hydroelectric dam at Goodrich Falls and reaches the Saco River near the village of Glen in the town of Bartlett. New Hampshire Route 16 follows the Ellis River for its entire length.

The East Branch of the Saco River is a 13.2-mile-long (21.2 km) river in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the United States. It is a tributary of the Saco River, which flows to the Atlantic Ocean in Maine. The East Branch rises near the northern boundary of Jackson, New Hampshire, in an area just south of the Wild River, east of Black Mountain, and southwest of the Baldface mountains. The river flows south through the White Mountain National Forest in an area that is devoted more to logging than other portions of the forest. Leaving the forest, the river enters the town of Bartlett, reaching the Saco River at Lower Bartlett village, just downstream of the Ellis River confluence with the Saco.

Attitash Mountain Resort is a ski area located on U.S. Route 302 in Bartlett, New Hampshire, near North Conway. Constructed in 1938 by the Works Progress Administration, as of October 2019, Attitash is operated by Vail Resorts (after being purchased from the previous owners, Peak Resorts). It operates under a special-use permit with the White Mountain National Forest. Located in the heart of the White Mountains, Attitash is home to two mountains, Attitash and Bear Peak. Attitash/Bear Peak has a total of 68 ski runs. It is a resort that appeals to all skill levels. Both peaks have a high speed quad going from the base to summit as of the 2023-2024 ski season.

Honeymoon Bridge (also known as Covered Bridge No. 51) is a wooden covered bridge over the Ellis River in Jackson, New Hampshire, United States.

Diana's Baths is a series of small waterfalls located in the southeastern corner of the town of Bartlett, New Hampshire, near the village of North Conway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, United States. This historic site is within the White Mountain National Forest. The stream that flows into this waterfall is called Lucy Brook. The waterfalls were once the location of an old sawmill operation in the 1800s. After the sawmill was abandoned by the Lucy family in the 1940s, it was turned into a historic site that would be protected by the U.S. Forest Service. The total drop of the waterfalls is 75 feet (23 m), and the hike to the base of the waterfall is about 0.6 miles (1.0 km). Diana's Baths is now a popular family destination. The intensity of the stream is related to the season; the stream flow is most intense in the springtime because of runoff from the winter snowmelt. Insect repellent is an essential from spring to fall.

Jackson is a town in Carroll County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 1,028 at the 2020 census, up from 816 at the 2010 census. Jackson is a resort area in the White Mountains. Parts of the White Mountain National Forest are in the west, north and east.

The Jackson Falls National Register Historic District encompasses the historic village center of Jackson, New Hampshire. It consists of a cluster of buildings centered on the crossing of Jackson Village Road over the Wildcat River, extending on both sides of the river along Five Mile Circuit Road (aka Black Mountain Road) and Carter Notch Road, both of which are part of New Hampshire Route 16B. Most of the properties in the district were built between the 1860s and the 1930s, and are reflective of the community's growth as a summer resort area. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
