Perth Stadium, currently known as Optus Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium in Perth, Western Australia, located in the suburb of Burswood. It was completed in late 2017 and officially opened on 21 January 2018. The stadium's total capacity is 61,266, including standing room, making it the third-largest stadium in Australia (after the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Stadium Australia). The stadium can be extended up to 65,000 seats for rectangular sports. Perth Stadium is primarily used for Australian rules football and cricket. Perth's two Australian Football League (AFL) teams – the Fremantle Football Club and the West Coast Eagles – relocated their home games from Subiaco Oval to Perth Stadium, while the Perth Scorchers play their Big Bash League home games at the venue, having previously played at the WACA Ground. Perth Stadium was built by a consortium led by Multiplex. The announcement of the Burswood location in June 2011 followed a series of earlier proposals for the stadium, including locations in Subiaco and East Perth. Perth Stadium was awarded the 2019 World Prix Versailles award in the Sports category. This is the World Architecture and Design Award.

Burswood canal was one of the earliest public works conducted in the Swan River Colony (now Western Australia) on the Burswood peninsula on the Swan River in the 1830s. It was made to shorten the journey on the Swan River, between Fremantle and Guildford. At that time Guildford was more prominent than Perth.It was located in what is now Burswood. When the South Western Railway line over the area was built – a small bridge was made over the canal and a road bridge was built as well.

Matagarup Bridge is a suspension pedestrian bridge crossing over the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. Situated approximately half-way between Heirisson Island and the Goongoongup Bridge, it provides pedestrian access between Burswood and East Perth. The bridge connects visitors to the Burswood Peninsula, including the Perth Stadium, with public transport and car parks in East Perth and the Perth central business district.The bridge was the featured location for Australia's "Postcard" during the broadcast of Eurovision Song Contest 2023, showing the Australian entrant Voyager climbing and zip-lining from the bridge. It was featured alongside Kyiv's Glass Bridge and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Perth Stadium railway station (officially Perth Stadium Station) is a railway station in Burswood, Western Australia, next to Perth Stadium (known under sponsorship as Optus Stadium). With six platforms, the station is the second largest on the Transperth network, after Perth railway station. The station only operates on weekends, and before and after events at Perth Stadium. Ordinarily, it is served by Armadale line services, but before and after events, there are special services which run direct for the Fremantle line and Joondalup line.

Belmont Park railway station was located on the Armadale/Thornlie line in Perth, Western Australia. It was operated by Transperth serving Belmont Park Racecourse from 1906 until 2013. The station saw 1,358 passengers in the 2013-14 financial year.

Gloucester Park is a harness racing course in Perth, Western Australia. In the suburb of East Perth, the oval course is adjacent to the WACA Ground. The track is lit, and Friday night pacing events are popular. As of 2006 the Western Australian Trotting Association have used Gloucester Park for more than 70 years, starting with the first Inter Dominion Championship held in February 1936. Gloucester Park has also been used for Telstra Rally Australia. Between 1977 and 1979 Gloucester Park was used as a venue for World Series Cricket matches. Between September 2015 and April 2017, the drop-in wickets for Optus Stadium were built and maintained in the center of Gloucester Park.Gloucester Park holds social and historical qualities and was interim listed in the State Register of Heritage Places in 2003. In the early 1980s, East Perth Redevelopment Authority (EPRA) coordinated the East Perth Redevelopment Project in which parts of Gloucester Park went through modifications.

Crown Perth (formerly Burswood Island Casino, Burswood Island Complex and Burswood Entertainment Complex) is a resort and casino located in Burswood, Western Australia, near the Swan River. The resort consists of a casino, a convention centre with meeting rooms, theatre and two ballrooms along with 32 restaurants and bars, a nightclub and recreational facilities. It also features three hotels: the 405-room Crown Metropol Perth, the 291-room Crown Promenade Perth and the 500-room luxury hotel Crown Towers Perth, which was opened in December 2016.

Bunbury Bridge was a single-track, timber railway bridge in East Perth in Western Australia. The bridge crossed the Swan River near Claise Brook and was built for passenger and freight traffic to Bunbury on the South Western Railway. Originally called the Swan Bridge, it was built in 1892 by Atkins and Law. Construction was delayed due to troubles with sinking the jarrah piles into the soft riverbed: they were intended to be sunk 42 feet (13 m) below the water level, but reached this depth under their own weight as soon as they were put in position. Ultimately, they had to be driven to 85 to 96 feet (26 to 29 m) before a solid footing was found.The bridge was opened as part of the Perth to Bunbury Railway, which was officially opened on 8 September 1893 by Governor Robinson. Following concerns for its safety, a so-called "temporary" replacement bridge was built between 1930 and 1932.After 63 years of use, the temporary structure was closed when a new concrete railway bridge opened in 1995. The old timber bridge was demolished in early 1996. The 1995 concrete dual-track Goongoongup Bridge was built as part of the electrification of Perth's suburban railways. Windan Bridge (opened April 2000) is immediately adjacent and carries road traffic from the Graham Farmer Freeway.

Goongoongup Bridge is a railway bridge in East Perth, Western Australia which crosses the Swan River and forms part of the Armadale line. It opened on 24 July 1995 as part of the electrification of Perth's suburban railway network. The name is derived from the Nyungar word for the Claisebrook area.Goongoongup Bridge replaced the 1932 built timber Bunbury Bridge which was demolished in 1996. It had replaced the original 1893 structure that was damaged by floods.The double-track concrete bridge is 407 metres (1,335 ft) long and is supported by eight piers. A dual-use pedestrian/cycle pathway is beneath the main deck. A six-lane road bridge Windan Bridge opened in 2000 and is situated parallel and 2 metres (6 ft 7 in) upstream from Goongoongup Bridge.

Trinity College is an independent day school for boys, located on the Swan River foreshore in East Perth, Western Australia. The school was established in 1962 when students from the city schools CBC Perth and St Patrick's Boys School moved to the new Trinity College campus.Trinity College is commonly shortened to Trinity or TC. Former students of Trinity are called Trinity Old Boys. Trinity is a school in the Edmund Rice tradition promoting classic and modern education, culture, dance, drama, music, service to others, spirituality, sport, and vocation. Trinity comprises an East Perth campus with a junior school for Years 4 to 6, a middle school for Years 7 to 8, and a senior school for Years 9 to 12; an outdoor education wilderness at Camp Kelly Dwellingup; and sporting grounds at Waterford.

The Windan Bridge is a six-lane road bridge in East Perth, Western Australia which crosses the Swan River and forms part of the Graham Farmer Freeway. Opened in 2000, it sits next to the Goongoongup railway bridge which was built in 1995. A joint venture between Transfield and Thiess Contractors was selected to construct the bridge from a short-list of three parties. Construction began in 1998. The incrementally-launched bridge is 403 m (1,322 ft) long with nine spans and comprises two prestressed concrete box girders on two rows of piers. A dual-use pedestrian/cycle pathway is located beneath the main deck. The bridge is named after Windan, a wife of Yellagonga (sometimes spelt Yallgunga), chief of the Mooro tribe. Her body was buried around the area, according to her wish. The name was chosen in consultation with Noongar elders as part of the Graham Farmer Freeway project. A naming ceremony was held on 9 April 2000 where a plaque was unveiled and a traditional Aboriginal smoking ceremony performed.The opening of the Graham Farmer Freeway and Windan Bridge was celebrated with a community open day on 22 April 2000 where the public could walk or cycle through the Graham Farmer tunnel and across the bridge. The freeway and bridge was open to traffic the following day.The bridge is part of a popular exercise trail known as the Windan Bridge Loop, which goes along the banks of the Swan River and across the Windan Bridge and The Causeway.

Belmont Park Racecourse is one of the two major horse racing venues within the Perth, Western Australia metropolitan area, the other being Ascot Racecourse, and is located just outside of the central business district on the Burswood Peninsula surrounded by the Swan River. The track has a circumference of 1,699 metres (5,574 ft) with a 333-metre (1,093 ft) straight. Belmont is Perth's winter racecourse, with fully enclosed facilities for spectators.On 24 December 1910 Belmont Park held its first harness race meeting, conducted by the Western Australian Trotting Association (WATA). The WATA continued to conduct race meetings on a fortnightly basis, using both Belmont Park and the Claremont Showground as venues, until the harness racing commenced on the WACA Ground track, on 28 June 1913. In January 1911 the first aeroplane flight in Western Australia was conducted from the Belmont Park Racecourse. The racecourse served as Perth's first regular landing area until a more suitable site was found at Langley Park in 1919.
