The Church of All Saints which is next to the River Brue in Alford, Somerset, England, dates from the 15th century, with minor 19th-century restoration. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building.The church has a 2-bay chancel and 3-bay nave and a south porch. The 2-stage tower, which is at the west end of the church contains a bell dating from 1753 and made by Thomas Bilbie of the Bilbie family.The fittings include a Jacobean pulpit, dated 1625, and 16th-century bench ends. The north windows have medieval stained glass including a large figure of Mary Magdalene.The parish is part of the Six Pilgrims Benefice, which also includes Babcary, Hornblotton, Lovington, North Barrow and South Barrow and is part of Wells Archdeanery.

Hazlegrove House is a 17th-century Grade II listed building located in the parish of Queen Camel near Sparkford, Somerset, England. It was largely rebuilt by Carew Mildmay in 1730. After being used as a hospital facility during World War II, the house became the home of Hazlegrove Preparatory School in 1947. The house is set within 200 acres (0.81 km2) of parkland, with direct access to the A303 road. Due to school sports pitches and other developments, the parkland was threatened with being put on the Heritage at Risk Register. However, this has not yet occurred as of June 2019.The gardens and parkland are listed as Grade II on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Sparkford Wood (grid reference ST613275) is an 8.4 hectare (20.7 acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest at Sparkford in Somerset, notified in 1954. Sparkford Wood is a broadleaved semi-natural woodland situated on heavy fertile soils. It dates from at least the 18th Century and its survival amongst the prime agricultural land of south-east Somerset makes it unique. The ground flora, which includes abundant Bluebell (Hyacinthoides non-scriptus), varies in conjunction with differences in soils which range from mildly calcareous to acid. The woodland has a large population of homostyle Primroses (Primula vulgaris) which have been the subject of some classic genetic studies. These plants are unique in that they represent a self-fertile form of a normally self-sterile species, and they are of international significance in providing research opportunities.
