Fargo Village

The Phil Silvers Archival Museum is located in Coventry, England. It opened in 2015 and remains the only Phil Silvers museum in the world. The museum houses artefacts from Silvers' life including some of his correspondence and clothing.

Gosford Street (part of which is known as Far Gosford Street) is one of Coventry's most historic streets, located on the edge of the city centre, just beyond the inner ring road. Far Gosford Street is one of the few streets in Coventry that survived modernization, dilapidation and the Blitz. It has 'Gosford Gate' roundabout to its west, Sky Blue Way relief road to its north, Gosford Green to its east and residential terraced street to its south, since the early 20th century.

Hillfields is a suburb of Coventry in the West Midlands of England. It is situated north of Coventry city centre, and has undergone a series of name changes throughout its history originally called "Harnall" and has seen itself change from a village, to a remote suburb, to a large postwar redevelopment zone. Hillfields has always welcomed immigrants of all nationalities. Originally the Irish communities and then the Indian-sub continent and West Indian communities settled in the mid 20th century. The area declined in the early 90s however in recent times a wave of new immigrants from Northern Iraq (Kurdistan) Iran as well as various people's from Africa have settled and have invested into the area and now the area is a lively neighbourhood bustling with shops and restaurants selling intercontinental produce and cuisine. Hillfields used to be home to Coventry City Football Club on Highfield Road until the club relocated to the Ricoh Arena. Hillfields is also home to Sidney Stringer Academy. The area includes Primrose Hill Park.

The Charterhouse, Coventry (also known as St. Anne's Priory, Coventry) is a grade I listed building on London Road, Coventry, in the West Midlands of England.The current building incorporates remains from the charterhouse of St Anne, the foundation stone for which was laid in 1385 by King Richard II. It contains additions from the 15th and 16th centuries, as well as several wall paintings dating to the same era. It ceased operation as a monastery during the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Some of the original window tracery still survives. It was used as a private home from 1848 to around 1940 when it was left as a centre for arts and culture.The Coach House and Medieval Precinct Wall to the Charterhouse form a group of listed buildings. The Charterhouse itself is a grade I listed building, the precinct wall is grade II* listed, the coach house is grade II listed, and the whole site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The site has been placed on the Heritage at Risk Register due to problems with the roof and it is now owned by the charity Historic Coventry Trust which seeks to regenerate the site, supported by Heritage Lottery Fund grants.The Charterhouse is on the banks of the River Sherbourne, Coventry's main river. A short distance away is the Sherbourne Viaduct, a railway bridge carrying the Coventry to Rugby railway line over the river.

Coventry Business School is a business school located in Coventry, United Kingdom. It is a department of Coventry University and its Faculty of Business and Law. The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in subjects such as economics, marketing, event management and applied management.The School is an accredited study centre of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a member of the Association of Business Schools.

The buildings known as Whitefriars are the surviving fragments of a Carmelite friary founded in 1342 in Coventry, England. All that remains are the eastern cloister walk, a postern gateway in Much Park Street and the foundations of the friary church. It was initially home to a friary until the dissolution of the monasteries. During the 16th century it was owned by John Hales and served as King Henry VIII School, Coventry, before the school moved to St John's Hospital, Coventry. It was home to a workhouse during the 19th century. The buildings are currently used by Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry. The cloister walk that remains would have been one of four when the friary was in use and is constructed from red sandstone. The wooden roof of the building is not an original but thought to have been brought from a nearby building during the 16th century. Little of the original buildings remain; only one cloister wing and the original gateway (which was used as a toy museum until 2008) still stand. Various institutions in Coventry are named after the friary such as Whitefriars Ale House and Whitefriars Housing Group.

The Eclipse (later The Edge) was a nightclub in Coventry, England, and the first legal all-night club in the UK.The Eclipse was a former Granada Bingo Hall, when local entrepreneurs Stuart Reid and Barry Edwards would put on the first allnighter in October 1990. The 1,600 capacity club was split over three floors.The resident DJs were Mick Park and Mick Wilson (aka Parks & Wilson), The opening night line-up included: Evil Eddie Richards, Fabio, Sasha, and MC Tunes, who moaned about the sound system and walked off stage saying, "Get the sound sorted out, we'll be back soon", but he didn't return. It is said that the venue gave The Prodigy one of their first gigs for a fee of £60. The venue would also host nights from promoters such as Dance Planet and Amnesia House. In April 1992 the club featured on the late-night ITV show The Hitman and Her. In September 1992, the venue became The Edge. It finally closed in February 1994. Virgin Records would release a two volume retrospective compilation The Eclipse Presents Dance 'Til Dawn in 1996 - one mixed by Stu Allan and the other Slipmatt.After The Edge closed, the building was bought by Coventry University and repurposed as a student union entertainment venue and called The Planet. The building was eventually demolished to make way for a car park.

The Coventry bombing of 25 August 1939 was carried out by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) as a part of its S-Plan campaign of bombing English cities. A bomb was left in Coventry city centre in the West Midlands, which resulted in 5 deaths and 70 injuries. Two IRA members were convicted of the bombing and hanged, while a third, who acknowledged planting the bomb, escaped. Several accused were acquitted. It was the first bombing of the campaign in which civilians were killed. Republican sources later stated that civilians were not the intended target(s).

Coventry School of Art and Design is part of Coventry University in Coventry, West Midlands in the UK. It is home to a number of departments that teach and research in the areas of art, media and design including the Department of Industrial Design, the Department of Media, the Department of Design and Visual Arts and the Department of Performing Arts. It is most known for its world-famous courses in Automotive Design. The school also includes the Lanchester Gallery and the Institute for Creative Enterprises (ICE).
