Haselbury Plucknett is a village and civil parish on the River Parrett in Somerset, England, situated 6 miles (9.7 km) south west of Yeovil in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of 744.It is the final resting place of 'Blessed' Wulfric, who was never formally canonised, and who died 20 February 1154. The village has a small Church of England primary school (years foundation - 6). It did have a small village shop and post office, however this closed in September 2009. The only pub/restaurant in the village is The White Horse at Haselbury.

North Perrott Cricket Club Ground is a former List A cricket ground located in North Perrott, Somerset. It hosted a single Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy match in 2001 between Somerset Cricket Board and Wales Minor Counties. The ground has also been used by Somerset County Cricket Club and Board for numerous other matches. It has also hosted the Somerset women's cricket team occasionally since 2005. The ground is home to North Perrott Cricket Club, and has been since its creation in 1946.

Perrott Hill is a co-educational day and boarding preparatory school located on the South Somerset-Dorset border. The 28 acre estate is located less than a mile east of nearby Crewkerne, being situated in the village of North Perrott.

The Church of St Martin in North Perrott, Somerset, England, dates from the 12th century and has been designated as a Grade I listed building.The current church which is near the River Parrett, was built on the site of an earlier church and including some of the fabric, in the 16th century, probably by Henry Daubeney, 1st Earl of Bridgewater.The tower dates from the 12th century and contains six bells. The oldest was cast in 1786 by George Davis of Bridgwater. Four others were made by members of the Bilbie family in 1803.The parish is part of the Wulfric benefice within the Crewkerne and Ilminster deanery.

Haselbury Bridge (sometimes called Haselbury Old Bridge) is a stone built bridge dating from the 14th century in Haselbury Plucknett in the English county of Somerset. It is a scheduled monument and Grade II* listed building.The two arch bridge was built of local Hamstone and carries a small road over the River Parrett. Each of the arches has a 3 metres (9.8 ft) span. The bridge is 4.1 metres (13 ft) wide including the parapet on each side.In the 17th century it carried the main route between Salisbury and Exeter and later marked the boundary between the Chard and Yeovil turnpike trusts. The bridge was bypassed in 1831.

Middle Chinnock is a village in the civil parish of West and Middle Chinnock, in Somerset, England, 3 miles (4.8 km) north east of Crewkerne. It lies 0.3 miles (0.5 km) east of the larger village of West Chinnock. In 1881 the parish had a population of 150. Middle Chinnock was an ancient parish, which became a civil parish in 1866. The civil parish was abolished on 25 March 1885 and absorbed into the parish of West Chinnock. In 2003 the parish was renamed West and Middle Chinnock.

The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Church of England church in West Chinnock, Somerset, England. It has 13th-century origins but was largely rebuilt in 1889–90 to the design of Charles Kirk. It is a Grade II listed building and now forms part of the Ham Hill Churches Benefice.

West Chinnock is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of West and Middle Chinnock, in the Somerset district, in the ceremonial county of Somerset, England. It is 4 miles (6.4 km) north east of Crewkerne. It occupies a central position east of the road that links Crewkerne to the A303 road and is mainly south of a brook that feeds nearby into the Parrett. The village forms the civil parish of West and Middle Chinnock with the neighbouring village of Middle Chinnock. The parish has a population of 592 (2011 census).West Chinnock was a separate civil parish until 1884. It then absorbed the parish of Middle Chinnock. In 2003 the parish was renamed West and Middle Chinnock. In 1881 the parish (prior to the merge) had a population of 418.

It may be derived from the Old English cinu meaning ravine or cinn meaning a chin shaped hill, with the addition of ock meaning little. An alternative derivation may be an old hill-name of Celtic origin.The three villages have been separate since at least 1066. East Chinnock and West Chinnock are some 3 km apart. Middle Chinnock is close to West Chinnock and since 1884 has been in the civil parish of West Chinnock, now named West and Middle Chinnock. The three parishes were part of the hundred of Houndsborough.
