University of Burgundy

The Serres de l'Université de Bourgogne are greenhouse botanical gardens operated by the University of Burgundy. They are located at 8 rue du Recteur Marcel Bouchard, Dijon, Bourgogne, Côte-d'Or, France. The greenhouses were established in 1966 and consist of a palm house, laboratories, and six greenhouses designated for hot, temperate, and cold climates, cactuses, experiments, and multiple purposes. They preserve various threatened plants of Bourgogne, and also contain a range of tropical and subtropical genera such as Psilotum and Lycopodium, tropical aquatics such as Eichhornia and Salvinia, carnivorous plants including Sarracenia and Darlingtonia, and epiphytes including Bromeliaceae and Orchidaceae. Collections also include a herbarium (5,000 specimens of historic interest) and teaching models of plants.

Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Numérique et Matériaux (ESIREM) is a French public research engineering school founded in 1991. It is one of the five grandes écoles of the University of Burgundy and is located in Dijon, France. The professors (mostly researchers) have been involved in efforts to develop data processing, embedded systems, telecommunications networks, algorithms and optics. The engineering programs offered at ESIREM have also expanded beyond the physical sciences to include courses such as business management and project management. The school was previously known as FIRST and changed its name to ESIREM in 1998.

The École Nationale Supérieure de Biologie Appliquée à la Nutrition et à l'Alimentation or ENSBANA was a French "Ecole d'Ingénieurs" (Grande Ecole) specialised in Food Science and Technology, located on the campus of Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France. Since it was founded in 1967, more than 1,800 students have graduated from the school. It merged with ENSESAD to create Agrosup Dijon in 2009. In 2022, Agrosup Dijon became : Institut Agro Dijon. It belongs to the Institut Agro, with Institut Agro Rennes-Angers and Institut agro Montpellier.

Stade Gaston-Gérard is a multi-use stadium in Dijon, France. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Dijon FCO. The stadium is able to hold 15,459 people. A stadium renovation began in 2016, intended to increase the capacity to 20,000 seats. Completion of the renovation is expected in the summer of 2017. The architect for the project is Jean Guervilly and the overall cost is 19 million euros.

Saint-Apollinaire (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃.t‿apɔlinɛʁ]) is a commune in the Côte-d'Or department in eastern France.

The Elithis tower is an office building with shops in Dijon, capital of the Bourgogne region of France. It has a total area of 5000 square metres, and opened on April 2, 2009. Designed by the firm Elithis engineering, it is part of the Clémenceau district that also includes the convention centre, built in 1950, and the Dijon Auditorium, built in the 1990s. Directly to the north is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte-d'Or, which was built one year before the Elithis tower. It was built on a small pedestrian plaza which also accommodates the four buildings mentioned above. The main feature of this tower at its opening was that it was the most environmentally friendly building in France. It is equipped with photovoltaic modules that provide about 70% of the electricity consumed by the building, it uses environmentally friendly insulation materials such as cellulose, and uses no air conditioning, but exterior panels that cover the glass surfaces exposed to the sun during the day (called the solar shield), without requiring the use of artificial lighting most of the time. An online bulletin board located on the front of the tower provides in real-time the amount of energy produced in kilowatts by the building since its opening.

Longvic (French pronunciation: [lɔ̃vi]) is a commune in the Côte-d'Or department in eastern France. It is the twin city of New Holland, Pennsylvania, due to a Case New Holland plant being located in Longvic.

Palais des Sports de Dijon (also known as Palais des Sports Jean-Michel Geoffroy) is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Dijon, France. The arena has a seating capacity of 5,000 for basketball games.

The Musée Rude is an art museum dedicated to the French sculptor François Rude (1784–1855). It has the "Musée de France" label and has been housed since 1947, in a part of the former Église Saint-Étienne of Dijon, built during the 11th century. The museum displays life-size plaster casts acquired by the Dijon municipality between 1887 and 1910, which are major works by the artist exhibited in other museums in France (including the Louvre in Paris). The museum also displays archaeological crypt of the 11th century, and the former St. Stephen's Gate of the Dijon castrum of the 3rd century on which the church is built. Open from 9:30 am to 6 pm from 1 June to 30 September, the museum is free. Labeled Museum of France since February 1, 2003, it is attached to the Dijon Museum of Fine Arts, which manages it.
