Amelia is an unincorporated community and former village in Pierce and Batavia townships in Clermont County, Ohio, United States. The population was 12,575 at the 2020 census. Amelia incorporated in 1900. In November 2019, residents voted to dissolve the village over the imposition of a local income tax. Amelia was by far the most populous village in state history to be dissolved and the first to be partitioned between two townships.

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College (UC Clermont) is a satellite campus of the University of Cincinnati with its main campus in Batavia, Ohio. A satellite campus, UC East, opened in 2010. However, due to increased online enrollment the lease for UC East was discontinued in 2020. UC Clermont is an open admissions institution, providing access to higher education to anyone with a high school diploma or equivalency. Clermont College's rolling admissions policy allows students to enroll any academic semester: autumn, spring or summer.UC Clermont sponsors a variety of fine arts, including the Calico Children's Theatre and the Park National Bank Art Gallery. Additionally, the UC Clermont College Krueger Auditorium is also the home of the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra.

Glen Este High School was a public high school in Glen Este outside Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It was one of two high schools in the West Clermont Local School District, the other being Amelia High School. The four-year high school had an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students in grades 9–12 in 2012. Glen Este High School was accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school was also a member of the Ohio Association of College Admissions Counselors and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors. It was one of the few schools in Greater Cincinnati that operated its own radio station, solely run by the students. Closed circuit radio KXKVO was organized as a club and operated from 1967 until 1972. In the fall of 2017 Glen Este merged with Amelia High School to become West Clermont High School. In 2019, the school was acquired by private education non-profit, Child Focus Inc., which reopened the school as the Carter Center for Educational Excellence, providing special needs education for the area.
