The Museum of Lincolnshire Life is a museum in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, in the UK. The museum collection is a varied social history that reflects and celebrates the culture of the county of Lincolnshire and its people from 1750 to the present day. Exhibits illustrate commercial, domestic, agricultural, industrial and community life. The story of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment and Lincolnshire Yeomanry is explained and illustrated by a variety of methods.

The Lawn is an early nineteenth century Greek revival building on Union Road, in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England, 0.3 miles (0.5 km) to the west of Lincoln Cathedral. The complex features a walled garden and children's play area. The building housed The Lawn Hospital for Mental and Nervous Diseases from 1921 until 1985.

Lincoln Crown Court is a judicial facility in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. It is located on the western side of the grounds of Lincoln Castle and is a Grade II* listed building.

Lincoln Castle is a major medieval castle constructed in Lincoln, England, during the late 11th century by William the Conqueror on the site of a pre-existing Roman fortress. The castle is unusual in that it has two mottes. It is one of only two such castles in the country, the other being at Lewes in East Sussex. Lincoln Castle remained in use as a prison and court into modern times and is one of the better preserved castles in England; the Crown Courts continue to this day. It is open to the public most days of the week and possible to walk around the walls from which there are views of the castle complex, cathedral, the city, and surrounding countryside. Displayed within the castle is one of only four surviving exemplars of the Magna Carta of 1215. The castle is now owned by Lincolnshire County Council and is a scheduled monument.

The Battle of Lincoln, or the First Battle of Lincoln, occurred on 2 February 1141 in Lincoln, England between King Stephen of England and forces loyal to Empress Matilda. Stephen was captured during the battle, imprisoned, and effectively deposed while Matilda ruled for a short time.

St Martin's Church was among the oldest churches in the city of Lincoln, England. It has been suggested that during the Anglo-Saxon Period and during the Danelaw, St Martin was considered to be the patron saint of Lincoln. The church is likely to have been associated with the rare St Martin silver pennies minted in Lincoln, probably before 918 A.D, when Lincoln was taken back from the Danes by the Anglo-Saxons.

The Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix (formerly the Witham-Valley Grand Prix) is a road bicycle race that starts and finishes in Lincoln. The 2021 version was 166 km long. The race is characterised by its ascent of Michaelgate, an iconic cobbled climb in the centre of Lincoln with a maximum gradient of 20%. The Lincoln GP has run since the summer of 1956, making it the oldest annual bike in the UK, that still runs today.

Lincoln Christmas Market, held in Lincoln, England, was one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe, attracting over 250,000 people over the four-day event. It was held from 1982 until 2022. Held around three weeks before Christmas - from the first Thursday in December to the following Sunday, the market spread around the historic centre of Lincoln including the castle and cathedral. As well as stalls selling goods there was a funfair with Ferris wheel, open air classical music and rock concerts and traditional events such as beer barrel rolling.The number of visitors was so great that a circular one-way system for pedestrians around the streets of Lincoln is put into place. The route includes travelling through the grounds of Lincoln Castle.
