Monument in Commemoration of the Return of Hong Kong to China

The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) is one of the two major convention and exhibition venues in Hong Kong, along with AsiaWorld–Expo. It is located in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong Island. Built along the Victoria Harbour, it is linked by covered walkways to nearby hotels and commercial buildings. The venue was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, in association with Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd. Larry Oltmanns led the design as the Design Partner with SOM.

The Golden Bauhinia Square (Chinese: 金紫荊廣場; Jyutping: gam1 zi2 ging1 gwong2 coeng4) is an open area in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The square was named after the giant statue of a golden Bauhinia blakeana at the centre of the area, situated outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where the ceremonies for the handover of Hong Kong and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region were held in July 1997. A flag-raising ceremony is held every day at 8:00 am. It is considered a tourist attraction. The sculpture, a gilded flower bauhinia, is six metres high. The major part is composed of a bauhinia on a base of red granite pillar on a pyramid.The sculpture is deemed an important symbol for the Hong Kong people after the handover. On the second day of Chinese New Year and National Day of the People's Republic of China, the square is lighted up by a firework show. The Golden Bauhinia has also been nicknamed the "Golden Pak Choi" by locals.

The Tsuen Wan line of Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system includes a 1.4-kilometre (1,500 yd) dual-tracked, reinforced concrete, immersed tube railway tunnel across Victoria Harbour, connecting Hong Kong Island to Kowloon.

The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is a luxury Hyatt hotel in Hong Kong, and the Asian flagship of Hyatt International. It has been described in a New York Times travel article as a "world-famous prestige" property. It opened on 21 November 1989 and is located at 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, adjacent to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel has 11 food and beverage outlets, famous in both their good quality of food and service .

A Symphony of Lights (Chinese: 幻彩詠香江) is a daily light and sound show in Hong Kong. It is the world's largest permanent light and sound show according to Guinness World Records. As of 2017, there are 42 participating buildings in the show.

Victoria Harbour is a natural landform harbour in Hong Kong separating Hong Kong Island in the south from the Kowloon Peninsula to the north. The harbour's deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on South China Sea were instrumental in Hong Kong's establishment as a British colony in 1841 and its subsequent development as a trading centre. Throughout its history, the harbour has seen numerous reclamation projects undertaken on both shores, many of which have caused controversy in recent years. Environmental concerns have been expressed about the effects of these expansions, in terms of water quality and loss of natural habitat. It has also been proposed that benefits of land reclamation may be less than the effects of decreased harbour width, affecting the number of vessels passing through the harbour. Nonetheless Victoria Harbour still retains its founding role as a port for thousands of international vessels each year. The harbour is a major tourist attraction of Hong Kong. Lying in the middle of the territory's dense urban region, the harbour is the site of annual fireworks displays and its promenades are used as gathering places for residents and also tourists.

Exhibition Centre (Chinese: 會展) is an MTR interchange station currently under testing phases on the East Rail line and the proposed North Island line. It will be an underground station located underneath the existing Wan Chai North public transport interchange, Harbour Road Sports Centre and Wan Chai Swimming Pool. It will serve the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre at Wan Chai North, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Its location is within walking distance to Wan Chai station of the Island line. The station’s facilities are set to complete testings and commission service in May 2022.The topping-out of the station took place on 12 November 2020.

The Wan Chai Pier (Chinese: 灣仔碼頭), or Wan Chai Ferry Pier (Chinese: 灣仔渡輪碼頭), is a pier at the coast of Wan Chai North on the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong. The pier is operated by Star Ferry, and provides ferry services to Tsim Sha Tsui. The pier is near the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The current pier is the third generation pier: First generation: from 1929 to 1968 Second generation: from 1968 to 2014. The pier had its last day service on 29 August 2014, and was later demolished as part of the Central and Wan Chai Reclamation. Third generation: since 2014

The University Grants Committee (UGC) of Hong Kong is a non-statutory advisory committee responsible for counselling the Government of Hong Kong on the financing and expansion needs of its subsidised higher education institutions. Great Eagle Centre (Chinese: 鷹君中心) is a 35-floor office building located at 23 Harbour Road in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong. It was built in 1983. Great Eagle Holdings has its headquarters in the 33rd floor.

The Water Supplies Department (WSD; Chinese: 水務署) is the department under Development Bureau of the Government of Hong Kong of the People's Republic of China providing a reliable and adequate supply of wholesome potable water and sea water to customers in Hong Kong. The headquarter office is located at the Immigration Tower on Gloucester Road.

Shui On Centre (Chinese: 瑞安中心) is a 35-storey Grade A office building in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong. The building was completed in May 1987.In neighbors the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
