Spa-La Sauvenière Airfield (ICAO: EBSP) is a general aviation airfield located in Spa, a municipality of Wallonia (southern Belgium). The field is managed by the regional (Walloon) authority, and is home to the Royal Aéro Para Club de Spa (RAPCS). Paradropping activities are in progress during all the year by the Skydive Spa Company and there is also a company with 1 or 2 helicopters called Heli&Co. The nearby Francorchamps racetrack attracts a fair amount of air traffic when races are run.

The lake Warfaaz is an artificial lake located in Wallonia near the thermal city of Spa in Ardennes in Belgium. The dam was built in 1892 on the Wayai river. The water volume is 360,000 m³ and the area is 0,08 km². It is a tourist attraction, with water sports, including Pedalo, Fishing.

The Spa Conference was a meeting between the Supreme War Council and the government of the Weimar Republic in Spa, Belgium on 5–16 July 1920. The main topics were German disarmament, coal shipments to the Allies and war reparations.

Jalhay (French pronunciation: [ʒalɛ]; Walloon: Djalhé) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. On 1 January 2006 Jalhay had a total population of 7,953. The total area is 107.75 km² which gives a population density of 74 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Jalhay and Sart. The highest point of the municipality is the Baraque Michel in the High Fens, at 674 metres (2,211 ft).

Roannay is a river in Belgium. It flows for 11 kilometres (7 mi) through the province of Liège in the northern-central part of the country.

Francorchamps (French pronunciation: [fʁɑ̃kɔʁʃɑ̃], Walloon: Francortchamp) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Stavelot, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. It is home to the motor-racing Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. A ski resort, the Mont des Brumes, is located nearby.

The Arrondissement of Verviers (French: Arrondissement de Verviers; German: Verwaltungsbezirk Verviers; Dutch: Arrondissement Verviers) is one of the four administrative arrondissements in the Walloon province of Liège, Belgium. It includes all the 9 municipalities of the German-speaking Community (about 1/4 of population), while the remaining 20 municipalities in the Arrondissement of Verviers are part of the French-speaking Community. Spa (French pronunciation: [spa] (listen); Walloon: Spå) is a city and municipality of Wallonia in the province of Liège, Belgium, whose name became an eponym for mineral baths with supposed curative properties. It is in a valley in the Ardennes mountains 35 km (22 mi) south-east of Liège and 45 km (28 mi) south-west of Aachen. In 2006, Spa had a population of 10,543 and an area of 39.85 km2 (15.39 sq mi), giving a population density of 265/km2 (690/sq mi). Spa is one of Belgium's most popular tourist destinations, being renowned for its natural mineral springs, and production of "Spa" mineral water, which is exported worldwide. The motor-racing Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, just south of the nearby village of Francorchamps, also hosts the annual Formula One Belgian Grand Prix and various endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Spa. The world's first beauty pageant, the Concours de Beauté, was held in Spa on 19 September 1888. The town also hosted the Tour de France on 5 July 2010, when stage 2 of the race ended there. In 2021, Spa became part of the transnational UNESCO World Heritage Site the Great Spa Towns of Europe, for its famous mineral springs and architectural testimony to the rise of European bathing culture in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Les Francofolies de Spa is an annual music festival in Spa, Belgium. It is usually held in the month of July of every year and aims at promoting francophone music. Those attending the festival in 2008 exceeded 200,000.

The Gileppe Dam (French Barrage de la Gileppe) is an arch-gravity dam on the Gileppe river in Jalhay, Liège province, Wallonia, Belgium. It was built in the 1870s to supply water for the wool industry in nearby Verviers. The monumental structure with its unusually thick profile played an important role in establishing an international standard for masonry gravity dams as a technology for major water supply systems. It was considered one of the strongest dams in Europe at the time, and it was the first dam built in modern Belgium. In the first decade of the 21st century, it was noted as supplying most of the drinking water for Verviers, as well as industrial water, and as producing hydroelectricity.

Limburg (Dutch: Limburg, pronounced [ˈlɪmbʏr(ə)x] ; Limburgish: Limburg [ˈlɪm˦ˌbʏʀ˦(ə)x] or Wes-Limburg [wæsˈlɪm˦ˌbʏʀ˦(ə)x]; French: Limbourg, pronounced [lɛ̃buʁ] ) is a province in Belgium. It is the easternmost of the five Dutch-speaking provinces that together form the Region of Flanders, one of the three main political and cultural sub-divisions of modern-day Belgium. Limburg is located west of the Meuse (Dutch: Maas), which separates it from the similarly-named Dutch province of Limburg. To the south it shares a border with the French-speaking province of Liège, with which it also has historical ties. To the north and west are the old territories of the Duchy of Brabant. Today these are the Flemish provinces of Flemish Brabant and Antwerp to the west, and the Dutch province of North Brabant to the north. The province of Limburg has an area of 2,427 km2 (937 sq mi) which comprises three arrondissements (arrondissementen in Dutch) containing 44 municipalities. Among these municipalities are the current capital Hasselt, Sint-Truiden, Genk, and Tongeren, which is the only Roman city in the province, and regarded as the oldest city of Belgium. As of January 2019, Limburg has a population of 874,048.The municipality of Voeren is geographically detached from Limburg and the rest of Flanders, with the Netherlands to the north and the Walloon province of Liège to the south. This municipality was established by the municipal reform of 1977 and on 1 January 2008 with its six villages had a total population of 4,207. Its total area is 50.63 km2 (19.55 sq mi).

Mont des Brumes is a ski resort located between Francorchamps and La Gleize, in the Belgian Ardennes. Though not the highest in Belgium, this resort has one of the longest alpine ski slopes in Belgium, including a red run 850 meters long with nearly 200 meters of vertical drop. The site also has a 150-meter beginners' track.The resort has 4 ski lifts, including 2 drag lifts, 1 baby-lift and 1 tow line, with a total flow of more than 1000 skiers per hour.
