Al Reem Island

Sky Tower Abu Dhabi is a 292-metre tall skyscraper with 74 floors in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is located on Al Reem Island and includes office and residential space. Construction was completed in 2010 when it was the city's largest building but has been overtaken by The Landmark since, see also Abu Dhabi skyscrapers. The tower is twinned with the neighboring Sun Tower and part of the Shams Abu Dhabi development project. The building, designed by the US firm Architectonica, has 474 residential units. The Arabian Construction Company (ACC) was commissioned to build the tower.The building won the GCC Residential Project of the Year award at the Construction Week Awards 2011.

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi is a French and English-speaking university established on 7 October 2006 in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The university is affiliated with the French Sorbonne University (former Paris-Sorbonne University, Paris IV) in the United Arab Emirates.

Reem Mall (Arabic: ريم مول) is a shopping mall located in Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. The mall will feature 400+ international and local store brands, approximately 85 restaurants, & the iconic "Snow Abu Dhabi", the first-ever indoor snow park in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.The mall cost $1.2 billion to construct. It has a retail space of more than 190,000 square meters (2,000,000 square feet), with a car park having approximately 6,800 spaces. It will also have an on-premises logistics hub that allows store-to-door delivery anywhere in the UAE (up to 24 hours) and across the GCC (up to 72 hours), which is the first time it has been applied to a mall.

The Mosque of Al-Aziz (Arabic: مسجد العزيز) is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 2015, towards the beginning of Ramadan on the Al Reem Island. The Al- Aziz mosque was opened as a collective of new mosques around Abu Dhabi. It was designed and constructed by the APG, Architecture and Planning Group which is known for other prominent projects in the UAE.

The Shams Abu Dhabi project will be developed on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi by Sorouh Real Estate and occupy approximately 25% of the island. It will occupy 1.32 million square metres (14.2×10^6 sq ft), of which 90% will be dedicated to residential buildings and has a potential of developing 22,000 residential units which will house around 100,000 people whereas the rest will be available for commercial use and recreational facilities. The entrance will be marked by The Gate Shams Abu Dhabi, which consists of 8 buildings. It will also contain one of the largest parks in the UAE covering an area of 1 million square metres (11×10^6 sq ft). It will be linked to mainland Abu Dhabi by two bridges. It was developed in numerous phases and the first phase was expected to be completed by 2009 and the whole project by 2011.

Tameer Commercial Tower is an office skyscraper that began construction in 2009, developed by Sorouh Real Estate. The tower is the tallest between a complex conjoined between four other buildings in a major building project called the Tameer Towers, owned by the Tameer corporation. The Tameer Towers are located in a section of the city Abu Dhabi called Al Reem Island, which is a new development area for the city. The commercial building itself is considered the "crown jewel" of the complex by the Tameer corporation and is designated an office high-rise with an architectural style of futurism. The whole complex contains many luxury features, such as a day care center, guest suites, car parking, swimming pools, a gymnasium, maid services, and job opportunities. The building complex is still not yet completed, although it was expected to be in 2013. The project was supposed to resume in 2013, but it was canceled on 30 June 2017.In 2017, since 9 years of Inactivity, Tameer refused for a refund for the Commercial complex, Several Buyers have pursued the firm in the Abu Dhabi Commercial Court for 5 years. Mukhum stated "They have refused to refund me my hard-earned money and are offering what is called the Tameer exit plan, a 50 per cent refund only subject to high management approval." However, the project is cancelled.

The Galleria at Al Maryah Island (part of the mixed-use complex Al Maryah Central) is a shopping center on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates with 2,300,000 square feet (210,000 m2) of gross leasable space. The mall links to The Galleria and combined, they cover over 2.7 million square feet with hundreds of retail, dining and entertainment and leisure-oriented tenants.

Al Maryah Island (Arabic: جزيرة المارية), formerly known as Sowwah Island, is a natural island located northeast of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is named for a famous oasis region in Abu Dhabi, Al Mariyah, which in turn is named after the species of Arabian deer - Al Mariyah - which live there.Al Maryah Island covers approximately 114 hectares and is currently being developed by Mubadala to be a new city center. It is one of the largest construction sites in Abu Dhabi.The center of the island is Abu Dhabi Global Market Square (formerly Sowwah Square), northeast of the city center of Abu Dhabi. Construction of Abu Dhabi Global Market Square started in 2007, and the first buildings opened in 2011. The island contains multiple towers and buildings, including Al Sila Tower, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) is an international financial centre and free zone located on Al Maryah Island in the United Arab Emirates's capital, Abu Dhabi. The financial centre was established in 2013 and became fully operational in October 2015. It has three authorities – the financial services regulator, the registration bureau and the ADGM courts.In January 2015, the Abu Dhabi Global Market announced that it had renamed the location it was based in, “Sowwah Square”, to "Abu Dhabi Global Market Square".ADGM regulates the trading of digital assets and became an attractive jurisdiction for crypto companies after it introduced digital asset regulation in 2018. That same year ADGM joined the World Alliance of International Financial Centers.

Abu Dhabi Global Market Square Tower 1 (Al Sila Tower), formerly Sowwah Square Tower 1, is the name of a skyscraper on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The building is located in the district of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Square and opened in October 2012. Al Sila Tower is 184 meters (604 feet) tall with 37 floors. The tower holds 40,400 square metres of office space which has been rented out to companies such as Gulf Capital, Abu Dhabi Finance, Booze and Company and others.

Sowwah Square Tower 2 is the name of a skyscraper on Sowwah island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The building is located in the district of Sowwah Square and opened in 2012 (it was supposed to be opened in 2011). Sowwah Square Tower 2 is 184 meters (604 feet) tall with 37 floors.

Sowwah Square Tower 3 is the name of a skyscraper on Sowwah island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The building is located in the district of Sowwah Square and opened in 2011. Sowwah Square Tower 3 is 160 meters (520 feet) tall with 31 floors.
