Ouiatenon (Miami-Illinois: waayaahtanonki) was a dwelling place of members of the Wea tribe of Native Americans. The name Ouiatenon, also variously given as Ouiatanon, Oujatanon, Ouiatano or other similar forms, is a French rendering of a term from the Wea dialect of the Miami-Illinois language which means "place of the people of the whirlpool", an ethnonym for the Wea. Ouiatenon can be said to refer generally to any settlement of Wea or to their tribal lands as a whole, though the name is most frequently used to refer to a group of extinct settlements situated together along the Wabash River in what is now western Tippecanoe County, Indiana.

Feast of the Hunters’ Moon is a weekend festival and historical reenactment held on a weekend in October since 1968, at the present-day site of Fort Ouiatenon, a replica 18th century French military and trading post near West Lafayette, Indiana. Traditionally, the Hunters' Moon is the full moon in October, following September's Harvest Moon.

Purdue University Airport (IATA: LAF, ICAO: KLAF, FAA LID: LAF) is a public-use airport in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, United States. Owned by Purdue University, the airport is 2 nautical miles (3.7 km; 2.3 mi) southwest of the central business district of Lafayette, Indiana, in West Lafayette. Because of the heavy traffic generated by Purdue University and its flight programs, Purdue University Airport is one of the busiest airports in Indiana, second only to nearby Indianapolis International Airport. According to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records, the airport had 3,161 passenger boardings in calendar year 2022. It is included in the FAA National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025, in which it is categorized as a regional general aviation facility. The airport's first regularly scheduled commercial airline service since 2004 is set to begin in April 2024.

Alexander Field is a baseball venue in West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. It is home to the Purdue Boilermakers baseball team of the NCAA Division I Big Ten Conference. The field hosted its first game in spring 2013. The venue has a capacity of 1,500 spectators that is expandable to 2,500 spectators. It is named for John and Anna Margaret Ross Alexander, Purdue alumni and the parents of former Purdue head baseball coach Dave Alexander

Discovery Park is a 40-acre (160,000 m2) multidisciplinary research park located in Purdue University's West Lafayette campus in the U.S. state of Indiana. Tomás Díaz de la Rubia, an energy and resources industry executive who also spent a decade as a top scientist and administrator at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, serves as Discovery Park's Vice President. Discovery Park was established in 2001 with donations from the Lilly Endowment and from the state of Indiana, and its first buildings opened in 2004. By 2014, Discovery Park had surpassed a $1 billion milestone in research investments and impact, with six research and office buildings.

Earhart Hall is one of the sixteen residential halls within Purdue University, located on 1275 First Street facing First Street Tower and behind Shreve Hall. It is officially named after the famous aviator Amelia Earhart. It is one of the many co-ed residence halls at Purdue. The official club of Earhart Hall is known as The Itasca Club, which was named after the ship that last heard from Amelia Earhart.

The Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering is Purdue University's school of biomedical engineering. The school offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. It is in a partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine and offers a Doctor of Medicine–Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering combined degree program with that school.

Lambert Field was a baseball stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana. It was the home field of the Purdue Boilermakers baseball from 1965 until 2012 and held 1,100 people. It was named after former Purdue baseball coach Ward Lambert.

The Slayter Center of Performing Arts is located on the main campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. It is an outdoor concert bandshell completed in 1964 and dedicated May 1, 1965. The facility was a gift from Games Slayter and his wife Marie.

Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity House, also known as Maltese Manor, is a historic fraternity house located at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It housed the Indiana Gamma Omicron chapter of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity from its construction until May 2021.: 5–6 It was built in 1920, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, rectangular, Tudor Revival style brick and stone building. It has a truncated hipped roof, parapeted tower, and platform porch extending across the front facade. A one-story kitchen addition was built in 1940, and a three-story addition in 1963. The building was remodeled in 1995, after a fire on the second and third floors. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
