Gould Creek

Little Para Reservoir is a reservoir in South Australia serving the city of Adelaide. It was built between 1974 and 1977, costing A$11.5 million, and commissioned in January 1979.The reservoir is built in the path of the Little Para River and is used for water storage and flood mitigation. As the Little Para's catchment is insufficient to fill the reservoir, it is mainly used to store water pumped from the River Murray. Periodically water is released from the reservoir into the river, enabling refreshing of ground water.Overlooking the reservoir is a public park with tennis courts, playgrounds, public toilets and information about the initial construction of the dam. Although much of the current amenities have fallen into disarray due lack of maintenance and public abuse.

Little Para was a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly in the north of the Adelaide metropolitan area, covering the suburbs of Elizabeth, Elizabeth Grove, Elizabeth North, Elizabeth East, Elizabeth Park, Elizabeth South, Elizabeth Vale, Gould Creek, Hillbank, Salisbury Heights and Salisbury Park, and parts of Craigmore, Golden Grove and Greenwith. The district was named after the Little Para River, located 20 km (12 mi) north of Adelaide, which passes through a number of suburbs within the electorate. The river was discovered by B. T. Finniss in 1837. "Para" is an Aboriginal term for 'stream of water'. Renamed from Elizabeth at the 2006 state election, the electorate was originally drawn around the City of Elizabeth (now part of the City of Playford). The 1998 and 2002 redistributions made considerable changes, moving the focus further east. The electorate covers an area of approximately 65.3 km2 (25.2 sq mi). Little Para was mostly working class, with some middle class suburbs on its eastern edges. All but the western end on the plains was in the foothills of the Adelaide Hills. Little Para was abolished by a name change back to Elizabeth for the 2018 state election when the Little Para River became the southern boundary of the redrawn Electorate which now extended further north and the majority of the eastern portion of Little Para moved into the newly created King.

Greenwith is an outer-north-eastern suburb of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia, and is within the City of Tea Tree Gully local government area. It is adjacent to Golden Grove and Salisbury Heights. Greenwith is the northernmost part of the Golden Grove urban land development.

King is a single-member electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It was created by the redistribution conducted in 2016, and was contested for the first time at the 2018 state election.King is named after Len King , a former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia and Attorney-General in the Dunstan government.The Electoral District Boundaries Commission considered that it had renamed the electoral district of Napier to King, but only 1479 of the estimated 27,002 voters in King had previously been voters in Napier from the rural areas of Bibaringa, One Tree Hill, Uleybury, Yattalunga. The majority of voters in King came from Wright in the suburbs of Golden Grove, Greenwith, Salisbury East and from Little Para in the suburbs of Gould Creek, Hillbank, Salisbury Heights, Salisbury Park.

Salisbury Heights is a suburb located in the City of Salisbury, Adelaide, South Australia. The upper section of Salisbury Heights was originally established as Castieu Estate in the 1970s by a private consortium. The blocks of land in this area were typically much larger than surrounding suburbs with half acre blocks compared to the usual quarter acre block. In April 2017, the Salisbury Heights section of Tea Tree Gully Council was renamed and amalgamated with nearby Greenwith.

Yatala Vale is an outer northeastern rural suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Tea Tree Gully local government area, and is adjacent to Golden Grove and Fairview Park, as well as the rural districts of Upper Hermitage and Gould Creek.

Cobbler Creek Recreation Park is a 266-hectare (657-acre) protected area located in South Australia about 19 kilometres (12 mi) north of the Adelaide city centre in the suburb of Salisbury East. Originally part of the lands of the Kaurna aboriginal people, it was farmed from European settlement of South Australia until the declaration of the park in 1989. The park provides an open space barrier between Golden Grove and the suburbs of Salisbury, has dams to mitigate flooding and is a significant site for both public recreation and native flora and fauna conservation. It is bounded by main roads and bisected by a four-lane main connecting road.

Craigmore is a large suburb north of Adelaide, South Australia. It is in the City of Playford local government area, just east of Elizabeth and south of Gawler.

Hope Christian College (formerly Craigmore Christian School until October 2014) is Christian co-educational, independent private school in Craigmore, a northern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia in the Playford district. It teaches students from Reception to Year 12. The school now has about 650 students, with a capacity of up to 800.
