Farge

The Valentin submarine factory is a protective shelter on the Weser River at the Bremen suburb of Rekum, built to protect German U-boats during World War II. The factory was under construction from 1943 to March 1945 using forced labour, but was damaged by air-raids and unfinished by the end of the war. The Valentin factory was the largest fortified U-boat facility in Germany, and was second only to those built at Brest in France. As a manufacturing facility, it differed from conventional U-boat pens, which were designed to house and service operational U-boats.

The Burgwall-Stadion is a football stadium in the northernmost part of the German city of Bremen.The Burgwall Stadium is the competition and training facility of the Blumenthaler SV, the district sports facility at Burgwall, which includes the stadium, three football pitches and a hall. Since the opening game against SV Werder Bremen on September 9, 1951, the Blumenthalers regularly play their home games here.

Bremer Vulkan AG was a prominent German shipbuilding company located at the Weser river in Bremen-Vegesack. It was founded in 1893 and closed in 1997 because of financial problems and mismanagement. All together Bremer Vulkan built about 1100 ships—including the ships of the predecessor Johann Lange Shipyard—of different types. It is remarkable that the Bremer Vulkan, with the exception of both World Wars, only built civilian ships; production of naval ships except during wartime first started in the 1980s.

Westergate is a short river of Bremen and Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a branch of the Weser. The Westergate branches from the Weser west of Farge. It reunites with the Weser near Elsfleth.

It is situated at the confluence of the Hunte with the Weser, on the left bank of the Weser. It has a school of navigation (university of applied sciences), a harbour and docks.Elsfleth offers many recreational facilities even though it is a small town,. It is an ideal place for families that want to escape big cities and like outdoor activities that are not only limited to tennis and biking. A nearby beach area and sailing club "SWE" contribute to Elsfleth's maritime character. So does the tall ship club Großherzogin Elisabeth amicably called "Lissi". Nearby larger cities are Brake, Nordenham, Oldenburg, and Bremen.

Schwanewede is a municipality in the district of Osterholz, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 14 km west of Osterholz-Scharmbeck, and 22 km northwest of Bremen. It belonged to the Prince-Archbishopric of Bremen. In 1648, the Prince-Archbishopric was transformed into the Duchy of Bremen, which Sweden first ruled over in a personal union. In 1715, the Hanoverian Crown started to rule over Schwanwede until 1823, in which the Duchy was abolished, leading all of its territory to become part of the Stade Region. Schwanewede consists of 12 smaller villages which form the municipality of Schwanewede, namely Beckedorf, Löhnhorst, Meyenburg, Aschwarden, Neuenkirchen, Brundorf, Eggestedt, Harriersand, Hinnebeck, Leuchtenburg and Rade. The Farge concentration camp is located in Schwanewede-Neuenkirchen.

Ollen is a 17 km (11 mi) long river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It discharges into the Hunte through an old branch of the Hunte near Berne.

Lemwerder is a municipality in the district of Wesermarsch, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is on the left bank of the Weser, approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) east of Oldenburg, and 17 kilometres (11 mi) northwest of the centre of Bremen. Since April 2001, Lemwerder is governed by Mayor Christina Winkelmann.The shipbuilding companies Lürssen and Abeking & Rasmussen both have shipyards in Lemwerder that specialise in the construction of superyachts.
