Cardiff Crown Court (Welsh: Llys y Goron Caerdydd) is a historic building situated in Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales. The building is a Grade I listed building. The Crown Court is part of the Wales Circuit of Her Majesty's Courts Service. The court house has 9 courtrooms in addition to one "virtual" courtroom. The senior judge at the court is Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke, the Recorder of Cardiff.

The Glamorgan Building (Welsh: Adeilad Morgannwg) is a former county hall located at King Edward VII Avenue in Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales. It was the headquarters of Glamorgan County Council from 1912 to 1974 and then of Mid Glamorgan County Council from 1974 to 1996. The building, which was acquired by Cardiff University in 1997 and is now home to the university's School of Social Sciences and the School of Geography and Planning, is a Grade I listed building.

The University of Wales Registry (Welsh: Cofrestrfa Prifysgol Cymru) is the administrative headquarters of the University of Wales, located in Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales.The University of Wales was a confederal University founded in 1893. It functioned as the degree-awarding authority for its member institutions and existed to support their academic activities. Following a series of controversies, it was decided in 2011 to merge the University with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. As of August 2017, the two universities were fully integrated but the merger had not been legally finalised.The Registry is located on King Edward VII Avenue in Cathays Park, Cardiff's Civic Centre. It became a Grade II listed building on 25 January 1966.

Cathays Park (Welsh: Parc Cathays) or Cardiff Civic Centre is a civic centre area in the city centre of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, consisting of a number of early 20th century buildings and a central park area, Alexandra Gardens. It includes Edwardian buildings such as the Temple of Peace, City Hall, the National Museum and Gallery of Wales and several buildings belonging to the Cardiff University campus. It also includes Cardiff Crown Court, the administrative headquarters of the Welsh Government, and the more modern Cardiff Central police station. The Pevsner architectural guide to the historic county of Glamorgan judges Cathays Park to be "the finest civic centre in the British Isles". The area falls within the Cathays electoral ward.

The South African War Memorial, also known as the Boer War Memorial, is a war memorial in Cardiff, Wales. It was erected in 1908 and unveiled by General Sir John French on 20 November 1909 to honour the victims of the Second Boer War. It is a Grade II* listed structure.

The Welsh National War Memorial (Welsh: Cofeb ryfel Cenedlaethol Cymru) is situated in Alexandra Gardens, Cathays Park, Cardiff. The memorial was designed by Sir Ninian Comper and unveiled on 12 June 1928 by the Prince of Wales. The memorial commemorates the servicemen who died during the First World War and has a commemorative plaque for those who died during the Second World War, added in 1949.

City Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y ddinas) is a civic building in Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales, UK. It serves as Cardiff's centre of local government. It was built as part of the Cathays Park civic centre development and opened in October 1906. Built of Portland stone, it is an important early example of the Edwardian Baroque style. It is a Grade I listed building.

The Bute Building (Welsh: Adeilad Bute) is a Cardiff University building in Cathays Park, Cardiff, Wales. It houses the Welsh School of Architecture. It is a Grade II listed building.The neoclassical building was designed by architects Percy Thomas and Ivor Jones, who won a competition in 1911 to design a building for Cardiff Technical College. The foundations of the building were laid in 1913 and the building opened in 1916. The building has six Roman Doric columns in the front of the building and includes the Birt Acres Lecture Theatre. The design has been called "disappointingly conventional"In 1962 the Technical college became the Welsh College of Advanced Technology and in 1968 the Bute Building became the main building of the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. It now houses the Welsh School of Architecture and the School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies. It also contained two libraries, the Bute Library and Architecture Library.The UK's largest Sky Dome, an artificial sky 8 metres in diameter run by the School of Architecture and used for daylight modelling and sun-path studies, is located in the basement of the building.

The Welsh School of Architecture (WSA) (Welsh: Ysgol Bensaernïaeth Cymru) is an academic school of Cardiff University. It is generally regarded as a world leading school of architecture, and one of the top architecture schools in Britain. In 2019, QS ranked the school immediately behind Ivy League school Princeton and ahead of Pennsylvania and Yale. The Welsh School of Architecture is currently listed as number 3 in the UK by The Guardian Rankings, number 5 by the complete university guide, and number 5 in the UK by the QS Subject rankings.

Cardiff Castle Stables, Cardiff, Wales, were designed in 1868-69 by the Gothic revivalist architect William Burges. They stand to the north of Cardiff Castle and on the western edge of Cathays Park which then formed part of the castle’s private grounds. Work on the stables continued into the 1870s, and they were not completed until 1928-29. One of only two stable blocks designed by Burges, they now accommodate the Anthony Hopkins Centre, part of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. The stables are a Grade II* listed building.

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (Welsh: Coleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru) is a conservatoire located in Cardiff, Wales. It includes three theatres: the Richard Burton Theatre, the Bute Theatre, and the Caird Studio. It also includes one concert hall, the Dora Stoutzker Hall. Its alumni include Anthony Hopkins, Aneurin Barnard and Rob Brydon.

The Wales Genocide Memorial is a monument in the garden of the Temple of Peace in Cardiff, Wales, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian genocide that took place in Ottoman Empire carried out by the Turkish government against the Armenian population from 1915 to 1922.
