The Protestant cemetery of Bordeaux (French: Le cimetière protestant de Bordeaux) is a historic, church-owned and operated Protestant cemetery located in the city of Bordeaux, in France. The cemetery was inaugurated in 1826 in the district of Caudéran. And the first burial was recorded in March 1827. Enlarged in 1867, a small funerary chapel was built in 1910 on the cemetery ground.

Bordeaux International School, also known as BIS, is a private (fee-paying) international school for ages 3–18 located in Bordeaux, France, established in 1988. Students are from both France and other countries. The medium of instruction is English and French in the primary streams and mainly English in the secondary school. The school moved to new premises in rue Judaïque in August 2005.

The Port de la Lune (Port of the Moon) is the name given to the harbour of Bordeaux, dating to the Middle Ages, because of the shape of the river crossing the city. It is represented by a crescent on the coat of arms of Bordeaux, and by three interlaced crescents in the logotype of the municipality. In 2007, the Port of the Moon and roughly 1800 hectares of the surrounding urban area were listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its outstanding and "innovative classical and neoclassical architectural trends" and Bordeaux's prominence as both the center of the historical wine industry and as a global trading center for more than 800 years. The World Heritage Site is the largest urban area inscribed by UNESCO (as of 2021), covering roughly 40% of the entire city's area. UNESCO has also rewarded the municipality for its efforts to restore and embellish quays and facades of the city center, including the Place de la Bourse, Miroir d'eau, and the Grand-Théâtre.

The Basilica of Saint Severinus (French: Basilique Saint-Seurin de Bordeaux) is a church built in Bordeaux at the dawn of the 11th century.In 1998, UNESCO designated the Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France as a World Heritage Site, including the three main churches of Bordeaux : the basilica of St. Severinus, the basilica of St Michael and St. Andrew's cathedral.

The Jardin botanique de Bordeaux (0.5 hectares) is the historical municipal botanical garden, located inside of the Jardin public" (Public garden), at Place Bardineau, Bordeaux, Gironde, Aquitaine, France. It is open daily without charge. This old garden has been recently supplemented by the modern Jardin botanique de la Bastide, located across the river. Although the garden's origins extend back to 1629 AD, with the creation of Bordeaux's first medicinal garden, today's botanical garden dates to 1858. It currently contains more than 3000 plant species, both those indigenous to Aquitaine and exotic plants from North America, China and Japan. It is organized as a systematic collection. The garden's seed collection contains 2,000 taxa, and its herbarium contains about 85,000 specimens.

Mériadeck tram stop is located on line A of the Tramway de Bordeaux, and served as terminus of that line between 21 December 2003, when the line opened, and 26 September 2005, when the line was extended to Saint-Augustin. The stop is located in the commune of Bordeaux and is operated by the TBC.For most of the day on Mondays to Fridays, trams run at least every five minutes in both directions through the stop. Services run less frequently in the early morning, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The Patinoire de Mériadeck is a sports complex located in Bordeaux, France, which is primarily used for ice hockey. It opened in 1981 and also operates as a concert venue throughout the year. The rink can seat 3,200 for hockey and 4,800 for concerts.

Bordeaux municipal library is the central library of Bordeaux, situated in the Mériadeck neighbourhood and linked to nine smaller libraries. It has noteworthy collections and rare documents which earn it a French government designation of classée (‘listed’), meaning it is a library of national significance.

The Archdiocese of Bordeaux (–Bazas) (Latin: Archidioecesis Burdigalensis (–Bazensis); French: Archidiocèse de Bordeaux (–Bazas); Occitan: Archidiocèsi de Bordèu (–Vasats)) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or archdiocese of the Catholic Church in France. The episcopal see is Bordeaux, Aquitaine. It was established under the Concordat of 1802 by combining the ancient Diocese of Bordeaux (diminished by the cession of part to the Bishopric of Aire) with the greater part of the suppressed Diocese of Bazas. The Archdiocese of Bordeaux is a metropolitan see, with four suffragan dioceses in its ecclesiastical province: Dioceses of Agen, Aire and Dax, Bayonne, and Périgueux.
