Central Police Station (Hong Kong)

Tai Kwun, or the Former Central Police Station Compound (CPS Compound) includes three declared monuments in Central, Hong Kong: the former Central Police Station, the Former Central Magistracy and the Victoria Prison. Surrounded by Hollywood Road, Arbuthnot Road, Chancery Lane and Old Bailey Street, the compound underwent a heritage revitalisation and reopened to the public on 29 May 2018 as "Tai Kwun" (Chinese: 大館), a centre for heritage and arts.

Victoria Prison, or Victoria Gaol, was the first and longest-running prison to date in Hong Kong. It is located on Old Bailey Street in Central, Hong Kong Island. Victoria Prison has been redeveloped into a cultural and shopping destination generally called Tai Kwun (大館). Tai Kwun is composed of three declared monuments: the former Central Police Station, former Central Magistracy and Victoria Prison.

The former Central Magistracy is located at 1, Arbuthnot Road, Central, Victoria, Hong Kong. It was constructed from 1913 to 1914.

Lyndhurst Terrace (Chinese: 擺花街) is a street in the Central area of Hong Kong. Built on a slope in southern Central district, the terrace links Hollywood Road and Wellington Street, at its intersection with Pottinger Street. In the middle it meets Gage Street, Cochrane Street and the Central–Mid-Levels escalators.

Staunton Street (Chinese: 士丹頓街; Jyutping: si6 daan1 deon6 gaai1) is a street in Central and Sheung Wan, on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. Together with the upper section of Elgin Street, it is the heart of the Soho entertainment area, featuring a number of restaurants, bars and shops. It was named after George Thomas Staunton.

Old Bailey Street is located in Central, Hong Kong. The name is derived from the Old Bailey, the Central Criminal Court in central London, United Kingdom.

The Centrium (Chinese: 中央廣場) is a skyscraper located in the Central district of Hong Kong. The tower rises 41 floors and 189 metres (620 ft) in height. The building was completed in 2001. It was designed by architectural firm DP Architects, and was developed by the Sino Group Limited. The Centrium, which stands as the 75th-tallest building in Hong Kong, is composed almost entirely of commercial office space; the lowermost floors are used for retailing. It has a total floor area of 23,775 square metres (255,900 sq ft). A spire was added to the building in 2002, one year after its initial completion; the spire lights up in various colors at night.

Cochrane Street (Chinese: 閣麟街; Cantonese Yale: gok3 leun4 gaai1) is a hilly street between Queen's Road Central and the junction with Gage Street and Lyndhurst Terrace in Central, Hong Kong. The whole street hosts the Central–Mid-Levels escalators.

Wellington Street (Chinese: 威靈頓街) is a one-way street located in Central and Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. Named after Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, it stretches from Wyndham Street to Queen's Road Central. The two sides of street is a mosaic of old and new buildings. Varieties of trades can be found on the street level. Street markets can be found in the adjacent lanes.

Gutzlaff Street is a lane in the Central district of Hong Kong, crossing Stanley Street, Wellington Street, Gage Street and Lyndhurst Terrace.

Graham Street (Chinese: 嘉咸街) is a street in Hong Kong and the location of Graham Street Market, one of the oldest continuously operating street markets in Hong Kong.
