Great Washbourne

St Mary's Church, is a historic Anglican church at Little Washbourne in the civil parish of Dumbleton, Gloucestershire, England under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Little Washbourne is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Dumbleton, in the Tewkesbury district, in Gloucestershire, England, 6 miles (10 km) east of Tewkesbury and 6 miles (10 km) west of Evesham. In 1931 the parish had a population of 27.St Mary's Church dates from the 12th century, and is a Grade II* listed building.

Beckford railway station was a station on the Midland Railway between Great Malvern and Evesham. It was designed by the architect George Hunt and opened 1 October 1864 and closed in 1963. It served Beckford, Worcestershire.

Beckford is a small village on the main Cheltenham to Evesham Road, five miles north-east of Tewkesbury, on the Worcestershire—Gloucestershire border. The village straddles the A46 and is one of the villages at the foot of Bredon Hill. The Carrant Brook runs between Beckford and Little Beckford and there was a ford across the brook which gave rise to the original name. An intensive poultry unit and market garden lies to the east of the village. A planning application was made in early 2016 to redevelop this as a retirement settlement with social care facilities. Beckford Nature Reserve lies immediately north of the village.

Alstone is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Teddington, in the Tewkesbury district, in the county of Gloucestershire, England, situated between the towns of Tewkesbury and Winchcombe. In 1931 the parish had a population of 50.Until 1844 Alstone was part of an exclave of the county of Worcestershire. Alstone became a parish in 1866, on 1 April 1935 it was abolished and merged with Teddington.

Beckford Priory was a medieval house of Augustinian Canons, historically within Gloucestershire, presently in Worcestershire, England. It was founded in Beckford in or shortly after 1128 as a dependency of the priory of Sainte-Barbe-en-Auge in Normandy. It was taken into the King's hand in 1414 as an alien priory and granted in 1462 to Eton College, but was re-granted by Edward IV to the collegiate church of Fotheringay. In 1547 the college was suppressed (although the church itself continued), and the site passed into lay ownership. A new house, known as Beckford Hall, was built in the 17th century on the former premises (of which only the crypt remains). The house was used in the 20th century as a Roman Catholic college.

Beckford Nature Reserve is near Beckford, in Worcestershire, England, situated immediately north of the village. The nature reserve was created from a former gravel quarry in the 1980s.

Alderton is a village and civil parish in the Tewkesbury district of Gloucestershire, England. The village is about 15 miles (24 km) north of Cheltenham, 6 miles (10 km) east of Tewkesbury, 7.5 miles (12 km) south of Evesham and 15 miles (24 km) west of Stow-on-the-Wold. The main roads are the B4077 (Stow Road) and the A46. The parish has 1,170 residents.

Grafton is a hamlet in Worcestershire, England, situated between the villages of Beckford and Ashton under Hill, south-east of Bredon Hill. The name Grafton means a woodland settlement.There was a chapel at Grafton from the mid-12th century, a dependent chapel of the minster church at Beckford. About 1543 it was broken into by local men, and apparently damaged beyond repair. Norman Cottage, a privately owned building, now stands on the site. It dates from the 17th century, and incorporates the north, west and east walls, and the chancel arch, of the 12th-century chapel.A field near Grafton is called Knight's Field. Edward IV knighted some of his soldiers here after the Battle of Tewkesbury in 1471.

Bengrove is a village in Gloucestershire, England. It lies between Teddington and Alstone. Bengrove, Teddington and Alstone now lie in the Anglican Diocese of Worcester, although they have been part of Gloucestershire since 1932, falling within the borough and Parliamentary constituency of Tewkesbury. Bengrove farmhouse was built in the early 18th century, and Bangrove Farm in the 1660s.

Alderton Hill Quarry (grid reference SP006345) is a 0.34-hectare (0.84-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 1997. It is a Geological Conservation Review (GCR) site.

Dixton Wood (grid reference SO979313) is a 13.14-hectare (32.5-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 2000. Dixton Wood is recognised as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) under the EU Habitats Directive.
