Lackawaxen Township is the largest and northernmost township in Pike County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,066 at the 2020 census. The Delaware River, which marks the eastern boundary of the township, joins the Lackawaxen River at Lackawaxen Village. The housing communities Fawn Lake Forest and Masthope Mountain are in the township.

Fawn Lake Forest is a census-designated place located in Lackawaxen Township, Pike County in the state of Pennsylvania. The community is located north of Pennsylvania Route 590 in northeastern Pike County, near the New York line. As of 2021, Fawn Lake Forest was estimated to have 684 residents.

Ski Big Bear is a skiing and snowboarding resort located in Lackawaxen Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania (in the Census Bureau CDP of Masthope). While open to the public, it is an amenity of the Masthope Mountain Community and community property owners receive a season pass as part of their annual community dues. It is also fairly unusual as the main lodge, parking areas, and facilities are located at the top of the mountain. Skiers and riders descend to the lifts before riding back to the top. Ski Big Bear has a vertical drop of 650 feet.

The Zane Grey Museum in Lackawaxen Township, Pennsylvania, United States, is a former residence of the author Zane Grey and is now maintained as a museum and operated by the National Park Service (NPS). It is located on the upper Delaware River and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It contains many photographs, artworks, books, furnishings, and other objects of interest associated with Grey and his family. The house was built in two sections, both from designs by Grey. The first was in 1905 by Zane Grey's brother, Romer Carl "Reddy" Grey; the second seven years later by a neighbor, to serve as a writing studio and library after the success of Riders of the Purple Sage. Grey and his wife moved to California so he could work on screenplays in 1918, but Lackawaxen and the house remained one of his favorite places for the rest of his life. It was added to the Register in 1983.

The D&H Canal Co. Office, now known as the Roebling Inn, is located on Scenic Drive in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a mid-19th century wooden house in the Greek Revival architectural style. It was originally built by the company, which operated the nearby Delaware and Hudson Canal, as its regional office. Sold in 1898 to Charles W. Shannon when the canal was shut down, it was converted into a boarding house, a single-family private residence, and most recently a bed and breakfast. It remains mostly intact. In 1993 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Lackawaxen River is a 31.3-mile-long (50.4 km) tributary of the Delaware River in northeastern Pennsylvania in the United States. The river flows through a largely rural area in the northern Pocono Mountains, draining an area of approximately 598 square miles (1,550 km2). Its source is in the borough of Prompton in western Wayne County, at the confluence of the West Branch and Van Auken Creek. It flows past Honesdale and Hawley, where it is joined from the southwest by Wallenpaupack Creek and by Middle Creek. Water discharged from the Lake Wallenpaupack hydroelectric facility enters the river downstream from Hawley. The river continues east and joins the Delaware at Lackawaxen. East of Honesdale, it was deepened as part of the Delaware and Hudson Canal project. The river is a popular destination for canoeing and recreational fly fishing for trout. It was reportedly where the American author Zane Grey first learned to fly fish.Lackawaxen is Lenape for "swift waters".

Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct, also known as the Roebling Bridge, is the oldest existing wire suspension bridge in the United States. It runs 535 feet (163 meters) over the Delaware River, from Minisink Ford, New York, to Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1849 as an aqueduct connecting two parts of the Delaware & Hudson Canal (D&H), it has since been converted to carry automotive traffic and pedestrians.

Masthope Mountain Community is a census-designated place located in Lackawaxen Township, Pike County in the state of Pennsylvania. The community is located in far northeastern Pike County near the New York border. As of the 2010 census the population was 685. Masthope is a name derived from a Native American language purported to mean "beads of glass".It is a private community of single family homes in the most northern tier of the Poconos Mountains. The community has a lodge, built in 2005, which has a restaurant overlooking the Delaware River, as well as a ski area, horse stables, a fitness center, and a beach.

Minisink Ford is a hamlet on the Delaware River, fifteen miles northwest of Port Jervis. It is in the town of Highland, Sullivan County, New York, United States.

Woodloch Pines (also known as Woodloch) is an all-inclusive resort located in Hawley, Pennsylvania on Lake Teedyuskung in the northeast Pocono Mountains Lake Region. The nearest large city is Scranton, which is 40 miles away. The resort has been owned by the Kiesendahl Family since 1958 and is open all year round. In recent years, Woodloch has expanded to include Woodloch Springs, a championship golf course and housing community, and The Lodge at Woodloch, a destination spa. Woodloch Pines, Woodloch Springs, and The lodge at Woodloch are all separate resorts.

Lake Teedyuskung is a 79-acre reservoir located in Lackawaxen Township, Pennsylvania. The nine-acre Little Teedyuskung Lake is also located in Pike County.In the early 20th century, Lake Teedyuskung was the site of the Dan Beard Outdoor School, a private school. It is home to Woodloch Pines, a family resort.
