Broughton, New South Wales

David Berry Hospital is a Rehabilitation hospital at Beach Road, Berry, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Howard Joseland and Walter Liberty Vernon and built in 1909. The original hospital buildings and gatehouse were added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Broughton Village is a locality on the border of the Kiama and Shoalhaven local government areas in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on the Princes Highway about 18 southwest of Kiama and 39 km north of Nowra and on Broughton Creek. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 86. Broughton Village is to not to be confused with Broughton, a locality that lies to its immediate southwest or Broughton Vale, which lies to its immediate northwest.

Berry Museum is a heritage-listed former council chambers and bank building and now museum at 135 Queen Street, Berry, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by William Wilkinson Wardell and built from 1884 to 1885 by W. Stoddart. It is also known as the E.S.&A. Bank or the ANZ Bank. The property is owned by Shoalhaven City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 1 September 2006.

Moeyan Hill is a small hill 2.4 km southeast of Berry on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. At the summit there are telecommunications towers providing Berry, Shoalhaven Heads, Gerroa and surrounds with mobile phone reception for the Telstra Mobile, YES OPTUS and Vodafone Australia networks. Shoalhaven City Council constructed an analogue television repeater site with funding from the Australian Government as part of the Television Blackspot Program. Analog television broadcast transmissions from the site were to have been stopped 5 June 2012. The site has not and will not be upgraded to digital television. There is a Central Mapping Authority Trig at the top of Moeyan Hill. There is a walking track leading through Moeyan Hill Reserve however, the trail does not lead to the top of the hill, which is privately owned farmland. From the top of the hill the ocean is visible, 4 km to the east, as well as Coolangatta Mountain, Cambewarra Mountain, Gerroa and parts of Berry and its environs.

Nameless Sylvan Reserve is a 54-hectare (130-acre) nature reserve on the Illawarra Escapment of south-eastern New South Wales, Australia. It is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of Berry, and close to the Barren Grounds Nature Reserve. It is owned and managed by Bush Heritage Australia (BHA), to which it was donated in 2007 by Louise Sylvan.

Broughton Vale is a locality in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies north of the Princes Highway at Berry between Nowra and Gerringong and on Broughton Mill creek. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 165. Broughton Vale is to not to be confused with Broughton Village or Broughton, which both lie to its immediate east.

Berry railway station is a heritage-listed single-platform intercity train station located in Berry, New South Wales, Australia, on the South Coast railway line. The station serves NSW TrainLink diesel multiple unit trains travelling south to Bomaderry and north to Kiama. Early morning and late night services to the station are provided by train replacement bus services. In the past, the station precinct also catered to freight trains carrying cattle and dairy products.It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Berry is a small Australian village in the Shoalhaven region of the New South Wales South Coast, located 143 km (89 mi) south of the state capital, Sydney. It has many historical buildings which are listed on the New South Wales Heritage Register. Berry attracts many tourists who come to enjoy the diversity of landscapes, including coastal beaches, rich dairy farming, and forested mountains. The village hosts a local Produce Market which is held twice each month on the second Saturday and fourth Sunday. Together with Kiama 23 km (14 mi) to the north, Berry acts as a gateway through to other towns and villages along the South Coast of NSW via the Princes Highway and the South Coast railway line. Major highway building projects in and around Berry have now bypassed the village, creating uninterrupted motorway conditions for coastal travel south to Nowra and the South Coast and north to Wollongong and Sydney. This has resulted in the removal of all but local and visitor traffic within the village. Planning is underway to create a pedestrian-friendly precinct in and around Queens Street (the main commercial street).

Berry Courthouse is a heritage-listed former courthouse and now function venue at 58 Victoria Street, Berry, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by James Barnet and built from 1890 to 1891 by Antonio and Peter Ettinghausen. The property is owned by Shoalhaven City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 15 July 2005.

Toolijooa railway station is a closed railway station on the South Coast railway line in New South Wales, Australia. The station opened on 2 June 1893 and closed on 19 October 1974.

Seven Mile Beach is a national park in New South Wales (Australia), 110 km southwest of Sydney. It consists of tidal flats, islands and a coastal sand barrier built from river silt in the Shoalhaven River delta. It is important areas for migratory waders and sea birds and protects a large littoral rainforest. The wettest month of the year is March, and the driest is September. The average temperature ranges from 17 to 25 degrees Celsius.There are great opportunities for bird watchers. They can observe king parrots, rainbow lorikeets, rosellas, wrens, New Holland honeyeaters and brown cuckoo doves.
