Hintlesham Woods

Wolves Wood is a woodland near Hadleigh, Suffolk. It is one of 7 ancient woodland areas within Suffolk. An ancient woodland is defined as a site that has been continuously occupied by woodland from the year 1600 or before.

Silverstone Festival (previously known as Silverstone Classic) is an annual three-day Festival featuring historic motorsport, live music and family-friendly entertainment at the Silverstone Circuit, home of the British Grand Prix. The event attracts hundreds of historic race cars in 20 races over the weekend, displays from over 100 car clubs with more than 10,000 classic cars, free access to the paddocks and grandstands, interactive activities, dynamic demonstrations, live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, a shopping village and lots more. Founded in 1990, the event was one of the first of motor sport meetings dedicated entirely to historic racing cars and celebrated its 30th anniversary online (thanks to COVID) in 2020 with postponed celebrations at the 2021 event. Originally held in late July, since 2022 the event has taken place over the August bank holiday weekend.

Elmsett Park Wood is an 8.6-hectare (21-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Elmsett in Suffolk.This coppice with standards site has diverse woodland types and ground flora. Plants indicative of ancient woodland include nettle-leaved bellflower, wood spurge, butterfly orchid and the uncommon spurge laurel.The site is private property with no public access.

Raydon Wood railway station was a station in Suffolk, on a short branch line from Bentley Junction to Hadleigh. There was a goods shed on a passing loop which included a small siding on the south side of the station at the Bentley end.Together with Capel it was extensively used for handling supplies in World War II for a nearby United States Army Air Forces base, later known as RAF Raydon. The line opened in 1847 and closed to passenger traffic in 1932, with freight services lingering on until 1965. The station building still stands, in disrepair and unused next to CPL Distribution, a coal merchant's depot. It is unknown who owns the Station Building but it is boarded up and not part of CPL Distribution

Elmsett is a village and civil parish in Suffolk, England. Located around three miles north-east of Hadleigh, it is in Babergh district. In 2005, it had a population of 826, reducing to 788 at the 2011 census.

Railway Walk, Hadleigh is an 11.6 hectare Local Nature Reserve which runs for 2 miles along the route of the former Hadleigh railway south-east from Hadleigh in Suffolk. It is owned and managed by Babergh District Council.The walk starts at the original station building in Hadleigh, which is now a private house. The route runs along a relatively level path, some of it on embankment and some in cutting. Most of it is bordered by trees. The path ends at the former Raydon Wood station, the trackbed south from that point not being open to the public. There is parking for about 5 or 6 cars at Raydon Wood, making it possible to walk from there to Hadleigh and return, a 4-mile round trip.

Wenham Parva is a civil parish in Suffolk, England. It covers the village of Little Wenham (whose ancient name it takes) and the hamlet of Wenham Grange. Located in Babergh district, it had a population of 20 in 2005, making it the joint-least populated parish in Suffolk alongside South Cove, Wangford and Wordwell. At the 2011 Census the population had increased to 185. The parish contains the Wenham Thicks nature reserve, which is a Scheduled Monument due to its Ancient Woodland. The defunct Hadleigh branch line ran through the centre of the parish.

Aldham is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England. Located around 8 miles (13 km) west of Ipswich, in 2005 it had a population of 200, reducing to 175 at the 2011 Census.

Flowton is a village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England, with a population of 117 people. The name 'Flowton' originally derives from the word 'Flocctun', meaning a flock of sheep or a sheep farm. The parish is located around six miles north west of Ipswich, which is the county town of Suffolk. Flowton contains the hamlet of Flowton Brook, and consists of rural farmland accompanied by scattered farm houses and a few newer builds situated nearby the parish church of 'St Mary's'. All Saints Church is a redundant Anglican church in the village of Little Wenham, Suffolk, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. It stands in an isolated position close to Little Wenham Hall, about 0.6 miles (1 km) to the northwest of Capel St. Mary.
