Breaux Bridge (; French: Pont-Breaux; Cajun French: Pont-(de)-Breaux pronounced [pɔ̃ndbʁo]) is a small city in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 8,139 as of the 2010 census, up from 7,281 in 2000. By 2020, its population was 7,513. It is part of the Lafayette metropolitan statistical area. Originally dubbed "La Capitale Mondiale de l’Écrevisse," Breaux Bridge was officially designated the Crawfish Capital of the World by former Speaker of the Louisiana House of Representatives Bob Angelle. Breaux Bridge hosts an annual Crawfish Festival, and is regionally noted for listing nicknames in its telephone directory.

Lake Martin, located in St. Martin Parish, is a wildlife preserve and one of Louisiana's swamplands. The swamplands are home to a few trails as well as many different kinds of animals such as herons, egrets, ibis, bullfrogs, cottonmouths, alligators, and coypu (nutria) rats. Pont Des Mouton (bridge of the Moutons) is an unincorporated community in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, United States. The community, bridge, and access road are named after Jean and Marin Mouton, two local landowners who settled the area during the 1770s. The community is located near the intersection of East Pont Des Mouton Road and Louisiana Avenue near I-10 . The road leads to Mouton.

The two stations share studios on Evangeline Thruway in Carencro; KXKW-LD's transmitter is located northeast of Lafayette. KXKW-LP (channel 6) is a defunct LPTV station also licensed to Lafayette. The station's primary content was the audio programming on the aural carrier of 87.74 MHz and using a 19 kHz stereo pilot carrier with 75 kHz deviation. This could be received on many FM broadcast receivers, and as a result KXKW-LP marketed itself as an FM radio station. The station aired a Regional Mexican format under the brand "Radio Lazer". To meet the legal requirements for visual content, the station ran a feed of the local National Weather Service radar.

Cecilia High School is accredited by the Department of Education of the State of Louisiana and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Founded in 1922, Cecilia High School is one of three public high schools administered by the Saint Martin Parish School District. Cecilia High School primarily serves students of northern upper Saint Martin Parish including the communities of Arnaudville, Cecilia, and Henderson.
