SUSS School of Law

SIM University (UniSIM) was a private university in Singapore between 2005 and 2017. The university was established and managed under the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). It was the only private university in Singapore after Nanyang University. The university practiced an open-door academic policy towards working adults and offered only part-time programmes. Between 2010 and 2017, UniSIM was registered under the Committee for Private Education (CPE).In 2017, UniSIM was restructured into the sixth autonomous university, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and brought under the ambit of the Ministry of Education. Subsequently, SUSS conducted an exercise to issue certificates in SUSS for UniSIM issued certificates. A statement will indicate that these qualifications had been received under the former's name.

The Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is a public autonomous university in Singapore. Established in 2017, SUSS focuses on applied degree programmes primarily in the social sciences. In 2017, SUSS received its inaugural class of 2,137 graduates.SUSS academia is organised into five schools, Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), College for Lifelong & Experiential Learning (CLEL) and four centres.The chancellor of the university is Stephen Lee Ching Yen. The president of the university is Cheong Hee Kiat. The provost of the university is Robbie Goh. The university is located at 463 Clementi Road (Clementi, Singapore). SUSS also uses external premises to conduct lessons.

Maju MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Cross Island line (CRL) located in Bukit Timah, Singapore. First announced in September 2022, the station is expected to be completed in 2032 along with the other CRL Phase 2 stations.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) is a post-secondary education institution and statutory board under the purview of the Ministry of Education in Singapore. Established in 1963, the polytechnic is renowned for its business programmes.

Bukit Timah railway station was a former railway station and crossing loop in Bukit Timah, Singapore. Opened on the dismantled Tank Road mainline in 1903, it was rebuilt on the current Singapore–Johor Bahru KTM Intercity mainline in 1932, until the Jurong Line shut down and it became a crossing loop station in the late 1940s until closure. The station was a freight interchange for the now defunct Jurong Line from 1965 to the early 1990s. The station closed in 2011, and it is now a conserved recreational building and museum that is part of the Rail Corridor.

Methodist Girls' School (MGS) is an independent Methodist girls' school in Bukit Timah, Singapore, founded in 1887 by Australian missionary Sophia Blackmore. It offers a six-year primary education in its primary school section and a four-year secondary education in its secondary school section. Since 2012, it has partnered with its affiliated school Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (ACS(I)) for a six-year Integrated Programme, which allows its secondary school students to proceed to ACS(I) for Years 5 and 6 to complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

The Bukit Timah Truss Bridge is a former railway bridge going over Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road in Bukit Timah, Singapore.

The Buona Vista Battery was the site of two 15" guns that were constructed during the late 1930s as part of the Singapore defenses.

King Albert Park MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Downtown Line (DTL) in Bukit Timah, Singapore. Located at the western end of Bukit Timah Road at the junction of Blackmore Drive, this station serves the private residential estates along the Bukit Timah corridor. Surrounding the station include the Methodist Girls' School and the preserved Bukit Timah Railway Station. First announced as Blackmore MRT station in July 2008, the station was constructed as part of DTL Stage 2 (DTL2). Construction was briefly delayed due to residents' concerns of the tunnel launch shaft near their estate, and the sudden dissolution of Alpine Bau contracted to construct the station. Initially forecast to open in mid-2016, the station opened on 27 December 2015 along with the DTL2 stations. In September 2022, the station was announced to interchange with the future Cross Island line (CRL). The station features an Art-in-Transit artwork The Natural History of Singapore's Mythical Botanic Creatures by the Artists Caravan.

Clementi Road (Chinese: 金文泰路) is a road in Singapore. It starts at Bukit Timah Road and ends at West Coast Highway. Its landmarks include Maju Camp, the Singapore University of Social Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and National University of Singapore. The road was once known as 'Reformatory Road' as there was a boys' home situated along the road. In 1947, the Singapore Rural Board discussed renaming the road. Their original intention was to name it after Sir Hugh Clifford, but it was eventually named as Clementi Road. It is generally suggested that the road was named after Sir Cecil Clementi Smith, who was the first British High Commissioner in the Straits Settlements. However, it is also possible that the road was named after Sir Cecil Clementi, another former Governor of the Straits Settlements (1930–33) who initiated the construction of the Kallang Airport.

Beauty World MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Downtown Line (DTL) in Bukit Timah, Singapore. Located along Upper Bukit Timah Road, this station took its name from the historic Beauty World, an amusement park and market that once stood in the vicinity. Beauty World station primarily serves the residential estates along Jalan Jurong Kechil and Toh Yi Drive, as well as Beauty World Centre, Beauty World Plaza and Bukit Timah Shopping Centre. It is also within walking distances to Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Bukit Timah market & food centre, Bukit Timah Community Club, Bukit Timah Tua Pek Kong Temple and Bee Low See Temple. The section of tracks between this station and Hillview MRT station is the longest between any two MRT stations on the Downtown Line till 2025. There are basic structural provisions for a future station (also known as a "box station") along this section of tracks near Hume Avenue. Hume MRT station was confirmed on 7 March 2019 and is to be operational by 2025.

Beauty World Market was an open-air market that was opened in July 1947 in Singapore. It was located at the junction of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Jalan Jurong Kechil. Just next to it was Beauty World Town, another shopping place opened in 1962. It was located at the junction of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Chun Tin Road. Both shopping areas were completely demolished by 1984 due to frequent fire outbreaks. The original site of the market had since been occupied by two Parking lots and Beauty World MRT Station.
