The TCW Tower is a 37-story, 157.58 m (517.0 ft) skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It is the 19th tallest building in the city. The building was completed in 1990 when it and its designer, Albert C. Martin & Associates, were awarded the Outstanding Structural Design Award by the Los Angeles Tall Building Structural Design Council.

The Original Pantry Cafe is a coffee shop and restaurant in Los Angeles, California. Located at the corner of 9th and Figueroa in Downtown L.A.'s South Park district, The Pantry (as it is known by locals) claims to never have closed or been without a customer since it opened including when it changed locations in 1950 to make room for a freeway off-ramp; it served lunch in the original location and served dinner at the new location the same day. This claim is also attributed to the fact that Dewey Logan never refused a customer even if he or she was short on money. It was however, closed briefly at the order of health inspectors on November 26, 1997, and reopened the next day. That tradition has ended however, and the restaurant is currently open from 7 am to either 3 or 5 pm, depending on the day. The restaurant is currently owned by former Los Angeles mayor Richard Riordan and has served many celebrities and politicians.

The Beaudry is a residential tower in downtown Los Angeles, California that is located within FIGat7th shopping mall. It was developed by Brookfield Properties and designed by Marmol Radziner. The tower is named after former 19th century Los Angeles mayor, Prudent Beaudry.

Figueroa Centre is a 66-story, 975 ft (297 m) Modernist hotel/residential skyscraper proposed for 925 S. Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles, California. Designed by CallisonRTKL. The rectangular steel-clad building design is similar to LA's Aon Center tower. If completed, it will be the third tallest building in Los Angeles, and the 4th tallest in California.The building will be designed for hotel use, 200 condominiums and 94,000 sq of commercial space facing Figueroa Street. Figueroa Centre will be a 1/4 mile from Staples Center and L.A. Live.

ARCO Tower (currently known as 1055 West Seventh) is a high-rise office building located at 1055 West Seventh Street in Los Angeles, California. It has 33 stories and stands at a height of 141 m (463 ft), making it the 32nd tallest building in Los Angeles, and the second tallest in Westlake. It has a prominent position in the local skyline, as it is across the 110 (Harbor) Freeway from the majority of the skyscrapers in downtown Los Angeles and the only other nearby building taller than it is 1100 Wilshire. The building has a floor area of 205,054m² and was designed by Gin Wong Associates. Construction of the building began in 1988 and was completed in 1989. The building was one of three ARCO Towers within blocks of each other in Los Angeles when constructed. It changed its name to 1055 West Seventh in 1998 due to ARCO relocating. In 2013, Healthcare provider LA Care now has its headquarters in the building.

Homage to Cabrillo: Venetian Quadrant is a 1985 metal sculpture by Eugene Sturman, installed in Los Angeles, California. The 33-foot bronze and stainless steel artwork was valued at $250,000 as of 1985.The work was surveyed as part of the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in 1994. The following description is used in the survey: "Comprised of four main elements which form a quadrant, representing the four corners of the earth or four points of the celestial sphere, and two long conical shapes which encompass a time capsule."

777 Tower (originally known as Citicorp Center and also known as Pelli Tower) is a 221 m (725 ft), 52-story high-rise office building designed by César Pelli located at 777 South Figueroa Street in the Financial District of Downtown Los Angeles, California. Developed in 1991 by South Figueroa Plaza Associates as Citicorp Plaza, the building spans approximately 1,025,000 sq ft (95,200 m2) and has a three-story Italian marble lobby. The exterior is clad with sculpted white metal and glass. The tower is adjacent to the FIGat7th shopping center, which opened in 1986 as "Seventh Market Place" and had two department stores: Bullock's and May Co. It was purchased from Maguire Properties by owner Brookfield Office Properties.A shot of the tower under construction can be seen looking from 12th street in the 1989 comedy Police Academy 6: City Under Siege. It also plays a role in the finale to the 2001 film Swordfish, where a Skyhook helicopter deposits a bus full of hostages on the helipad.

Hotel Figueroa (also the Figueroa Hotel, colloquially The Fig) is a hotel building in the South Park district of Downtown Los Angeles. Originally opened as a hostelry exclusive to women, the hotel underwent a transformation into a Moroccan-themed space in the 1970s before being restored to its initial Spanish Colonial architecture in 2014. Founded in 1926 by the YWCA, the hotel was established to provide a haven for professional women, allowing them to lodge without the requirement of a male escort. It became a gathering place for business women and club women, initially catering exclusively to women with men having limited access to the building. Two years later, they expanded their clientele to include men to boost business. Following a period of decline in the 1950s and 1960s, Swedish entrepreneur Uno Thimansson purchased the hotel, converting it into a Moroccan-themed space that was known for its affordability compared to other hotels. The hotel remained this way until 2014 when a joint venture between GreenOak Real Estate and Urban Lifestyle Hotels acquired the property. They started a restoration process in order to return it to its original Spanish Colonial architecture, which was completed in 2018. The hotel is 13 stories high and includes a coffin-shaped pool, the only remaining hotel pool on the ground floor, both due to limits from the city's architecture regulations at the time of its construction. The sides of the building have been used for hand-painted advertisements since the 1980s. Prior to its 2014 renovation, the hotel was decorated with decorated by Arabian-inspired items to match with its Moroccan theme, with the current decoration including paintings and other art by women.

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools (LA Alliance) is a not-for-profit organization which operates charter schools in Los Angeles. Based at the Frank E. Baxter Education Complex (next to Gertz-Ressler High School and on the east end of Richard Merkin Middle School), it is governed by a board of 27 directors and represented by president & CEO Dan Katzir.

Dome Village was a self-governing community of "people unable or [...] unwilling to live in traditional [homeless] shelters". Located in Downtown Los Angeles at 847 Golden Avenue, the complex consisted of 20 geodesic domes and was inhabited by "up to 34 individuals and their family members". Operated by Justiceville/Homeless USA, a non-profit organization, members of Dome Village were politically active in homelessness, nonviolence, and environmental issues.

The Friday Morning Club building is located in Downtown Los Angeles, California. It was the second home of the women's club also named the Friday Morning Club (FMC), for 61 years. The large and elaborate six−story clubhouse was designed by architects Allison & Allison in an Italian Renaissance Revival style, and built in 1923.

EY Plaza, formerly known as Ernst & Young Plaza, is a 534-foot (163 m) tall skyscraper in Los Angeles, California. It was completed in 1985, has 41 floors and is the 18th tallest building in Los Angeles. The tower is currently owned by Brookfield Properties Inc, and was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. Even though it is in California, this building was placed in the New York skyline in the movie The Day After Tomorrow. Upon completion in 1985, this building stood as financial giant Citicorp's, later Citigroup, California headquarters.
