Sokolinaya Gora District (Russian: район Соколиная Гора, "Falcon Hill") is an administrative district (raion) of Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 7.961 square kilometers (3.074 sq mi). Population: 84,100 (2017 est.).

Semyonovskaya (Russian: Семёновская) is a station of the Moscow Metro in the Sokolinaya Gora District, Eastern Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line, between Elektrozavodskaya and Partizanskaya stations. Semyonovskaya opened in 1944. Originally, the station was called Stalinskaya, as it was built under Stalinskaya Ploshchad. As part of De-Stalinization, the station was renamed in 1961 to Semyonovskaya for the settlement from which the Semyonovsky Regiment took its name.It was the deepest station in Moscow Metro from 1944 until 1950.

Moscow Polytechnic University (Russian: Московский политехнический университет, romanized: Moskovski politekhnicheski universitet) or Moscow Polytech is a university in Moscow, Russia. It specializes in the field of automobile design and tractor design. It was founded in 1865 as Komissarov Technical School. From 2012 to 2016, its name was Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering (MAMI) (Russian: Московский Государственный Машиностроительный Университет (МАМИ)), where MAMI stood for Moscow Automechanical Institute.

The State Research Institute of Organic Chemistry and Technology (Russian: Государственный научно-исследовательский институт органической химии и технологии, romanized: Gosudarstvennyy nauchno-issledovatel'skiy institut organicheskoy khimii i tekhnologii) (GosNIIOKhT) is a Russian research institute engaged in the development of chemical technologies for use in the national economy and the production of relevant goods and products.

The P. I. Baranov Central Institute of Aviation Motor Development (also known as the "Central Institute for Aviation Motor Development named after P. I. Baranov" or simply "Central Institute of Aviation Motors", CIAM or TsIAM, Tsentralniy Institut Aviatsionnogo Motorostroeniya, Russian: Центральный институт авиационного моторостроения) is the only specialized Russian research and engineering facility dealing with advanced aerospace propulsion research, aircraft engine certification and other gas dynamics-related issues. It was founded in 1930. CIAM operates the largest aerospace engine testing facility in Europe, surpassed only by the United States's Arnold Engineering Development Center and Glenn Research Center. It is based in Lefortovo (the southeast okrug of Moscow) with an address of 2 Aviamotornaya street, Moscow, Postcode 111116. CIAM also operates a scientific testing center in Lytkarino, Moscow Oblast.

Aviamotornaya (Russian: Авиамоторная, lit. 'Aircraft engines'pronunciation ) is a station on the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line of the Moscow Metro. The station was opened on 27 March 2020 as part of Nekrasovskaya line extension.Similar to Aviamotornaya on the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line, that station's name comes from Aviamotornaya Ulitsa, which, in turn, is named for the Baranov Central Institute of Aviation Motor Development.

Preobrazhenskoye Cemetery (Russian: Преображенское кладбище, lit. Transfiguration Cemetery) is a cemetery in the eastern part of Moscow long associated with Old Believers. It was inaugurated by a Fedoseevtsy merchant in 1777 as a plague quarantine disguising the Bespopovtsy monastery. At that time the territory of the cemetery was located outside Moscow, but near its border. The cemetery soon became the spiritual and administrative center of all the Fedoseevtsy in Russia (just like the Rogozhskoe cemetery became an administrative and cultural centre for most Popovtsy Old Believers). The cloister consisted of two equal square areas, a monastery for men and a nunnery for women, separated by a road to the cemetery. Construction work was in progress throughout the 1790s and the first decade of the 19th century. At that time, the monastery asylum was home to 1,500 people, while the chapels were attended by as many as 10,000 Old Believers. Every church within the monastery was styled a chapel; like other Bespopovtsy, the Fedoseevtsy reject priesthood, and so even their largest temples are called chapels rather than churches, since they have no altar. The area was surrounded by brick walls with decorative pseudo-gothic towers. In the mid-19th century the "male" part of the monastery was confiscated from the Fedoseevtsy by the imperial administration to be transformed into the monastery of the Edinovertsy, the only legal denomination of Old Believers in Imperial Russia. The cloister, which came to be known as the St Nicholas Monastery of the Edinovertsy, boasted the largest collection of Old Believer literature (the Khludov bequest) and as many as 1,300 ancient icons. After the October Revolution the St. Nicholas Monastery was occupied by the Obnovlentsy, while the icons and the books were taken to the State Historical Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery. Later the monastery was divided between the Pomortsy Old Believers and the nearby parish of the official Russian Orthodox Church. The orthodox parish took a church above the gates with surrounding quarters, a bell-tower and a western part of the temple. The eastern part of the temple and several utilities in the western part of the territory belong to Pomortsy. The two parts of a single temple are currently separated by a thick brick wall, and compartments are occupied by different denominations. The women's part of Preobrazhenka avoided such a dissension, and still belongs to the Fedoseevtsy. The cemetery is also noted as a place where the first Eternal flame in Moscow was kindled in order to commemorate the World War II dead.

Aviamotornaya (Russian: Авиамото́рная, lit. 'Aircraft engines'pronunciation ) is a Moscow Metro station in the Lefortovo District, South-Eastern Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia. It is on the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line. The station was opened on 30 December 1979.The station is built in a three-vault configuration 53 metres (173 feet) underground. The central hallway contains a sculpture made out of anodised gold pyramids and tetrahedra. The architects of the station are A.F. Strelkov, V.I. Klokov, N.I. Demchinsky, J.A. Kolesnikov, and E.S. Barsky. The theme of Aviamotornaya is aviation and flying. The columns holding up the ceiling are glazed in a light marble tone. The floor is made up of granite plates coloured in different shades of grey. The wall at the end of the central hallway is faced in a metal sculpture depicting Icarus. There are decorations mentioning and detailing the main constellations. A transfer to Aviamotornaya is planned to open in 2023.

Sokolinaya Gora (Russian: Соколиная Гора)(literal meaning: "falcon mountain" is a station on the Moscow Central Circle of the Moscow Metro located in the district of the same name. It was opened on 11 October 2016, one month after opening of the MCC. As of 2017, Sokolinaya Gora is 25th popular among 31 stations of the Circle: the average passenger traffic was 8000 people per day and 240,000 people per month.

Lefortovo Prison (Russian: Лефортовская тюрьма, Russian: [lʲɪˈfortəvə] ) is a prison in Moscow, Russia, which has been under the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Justice since 2005.

Elektrozavodskaya (Russian: Электрозаво́дская) is a Moscow Metro station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line. It is one of the better-known stations of the system. Built as part of the third stage of the Moscow Metro and opened on 15 May 1944 during World War II, the station is one of the iconic symbols of the system, famous for its architectural decoration which is work of architects Vladimir Shchuko (who died whilst working on the station's project in 1939) and Vladimir Gelfreich, along with participation of his student Igor Rozhin. The station serves the Basmanny district and is located on the Bolshaya Semyonovskaya Street, next to the Yauza River. The railway station Elektrazavodskaya of the Kazan direction is also located nearby. In May 2007, the station was closed for a year during which the escalators were completely replaced, along with the floor panels. Most of the details and finishes including Motovilov's bas-reliefs were refurbished. The station was reopened on 28 November 2008. By 2022, the station will be open to go to the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line named Elektrozavodskaya.
