The Northcote Farm School (NFS) (also known as the Lady Northcote Farm School) was a farm school built at Glenmore, near Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, in 1937. It was constructed for the education of child migrants, of whom it received 273 from 1937 to the 1970s; it was closed from 1944 to 1948 due to the decline in child migrants during World War II. It was shut down in the late 1970s due to the redistribution of funds, and now operates as a school camp. NFS is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, as having "historical, architectural and social significance to the State of Victoria".

Bacchus Marsh Airfield (ICAO: YBSS) is located 3.5 nautical miles (6.5 km; 4.0 mi) south of Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. The airfield is owned by the Shire of Moorabool, but is operated by the Bacchus Marsh Airfield Management (BMAM). BMAM comprises representatives of the shire, airfield hangar owners, airfield users group, (the Geelong Gliding Club, Victorian Motorless Flight Group and the Beaufort Gliding Club), and TVSA Pilot Training (a power flying school). The airfield has an elevation of 520 ft (158 m) above sea level, consists of two sealed cross strips with wide grass verges on either side (alignments 01/19 1,554 m (5,098 ft), and 09/27 1,524 m (5,000 ft)). The gliding clubs conduct a combined operation launching from the grass verges, while the power school operates concurrently from the sealed strips

The Pioneer Women's Memorial Avenue, located in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia commemorates the contributions of women to the development of the area. The Avenue was originally planted in 1936, the centenary of the settlement of Bacchus Marsh, by the local branch of the Country Women's Association. An avenue of Claret Ash trees was planted on the Western Highway, each tree honouring an individual woman settler. The CWA provided the trees, and the local council provided the tree-planting labour. Name plaques for each tree were paid for by public donations. A total of 276 trees were planted - a tree for every woman who was born or lived in the area prior to 1890. Indigenous Kulin women were named and recognised alongside white women. In 1995, a report by the Victorian Heritage Register showed that only 15-17 of the original trees had survived. In 2008, the Bacchus Marsh CWA applied for and received grants from the state government's Centenary of Women's Suffrage funds and the Shire of Moorabool council to re-develop the memorial. A rotunda, featuring information boards on the women commemorated in the avenue, and a monument, were added at Stamford Hill. These were unveiled in a ceremony on 2 August 2008. In December 2009, the Moorabool council nominated the Bacchus Marsh CWA's work on erecting the rotunda for the Community Event of the Year. In 2015, the Bacchus Marsh CWA published a book of biographies of the women commemorated in the avenue.

Bacchus Marsh College is a secondary school in the town of Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. It was opened in 1912 as Bacchus Marsh High School, and then later became Bacchus Marsh Secondary College. The college started with 38 students.

Maddingley is a suburb of Bacchus Marsh, a peri-urban town in central Victoria, Australia. The locality consists of the portion of the Bacchus Marsh urban area south of the Werribee River. It is in the Shire of Moorabool, 61 kilometres (38 mi) west north west of the state capital, Melbourne. At the 2021 census, Maddingley had a population of 5,491. Items of interest in Maddingley include the Bacchus Marsh railway station, Bacchus Marsh College, Bacchus Marsh Grammar School and the Maddingley brown coal mine. Maddingley Park, including the Nieuwesteeg Heritage Rose Garden, is adjacent to the railway station.

The Shire of Bacchus Marsh was a local government area about 50 kilometres (31 mi) west of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The shire covered an area of 565 square kilometres (218.1 sq mi), and existed from 1862 until 1994.

Nieuwesteeg Heritage Rose Garden is a collection of rare and unusual roses, mostly hybrid teas, bred in the early 20th century. It is located in Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh, a town and suburb some 50 kilometres (30 mi) west of Melbourne and 14 kilometres (9 mi) west of Melton. The rose garden was established from 2009, with stock donated by rosarian John Nieuwesteeg.

Bacchus Marsh railway station is a regional railway station on the Ararat line. It serves the southern suburb of Maddingley, in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. Bacchus Marsh station is a ground level premium station, featuring two side platforms. It opened on 10 February 1887, with the current station provided in 2019. There used to be a number of sidings opposite the station which were used to stable trains that ran to and from Bacchus Marsh. It also has an operational 70-foot (21 m) turntable, used mainly for turning steam locomotives on special trains.
