The Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, also known as the Palazzo della Civiltà del Lavoro, or in everyday speech as the Colosseo Quadrato ("Square Colosseum"), is a building in the EUR district in Rome.: 199  It was designed in 1938 by three Italian architects: Giovanni Guerrini, Ernesto La Padula, and Mario Romano. The building is an example of Italian Rationalism and fascist architecture with neoclassical design, representing romanità, a philosophy which encompasses the past, present, and future all in one. The enormity of the structure is meant to reflect the fascist regime's new course in Italian history. The design of the building draws inspiration from the Colosseum with rows of arches. According to legend, the structure's six vertical and nine horizontal arches are correlated to the number of letters in the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini's name.The Palazzo was inaugurated on November 30, 1940, despite being unfinished. Ten years after its completion, the Palazzo was adorned with statues on the ground floor and steps that ascend to its entrance. The building was designed to be the Museum of Italian Civilization at the 1942 World Fair, demonstrating the superiority of Italian architecture. The building is located in the Esposizione Universale Roma (EUR) district of Rome, also known as the E42 district, which serves as a symbol of Italy's National Fascist Party. Ultimately the building was never used for its intended purposes following the aftermath of World War II, however the EUR has since been revitalized as a residential and business district. The building is now used as the headquarters for the Italian fashion house Fendi.

EUR Magliana is a railway station in Rome served by the Metro line B and the Ferrovia Roma-Lido in the EUR or Europa district of Rome. It was opened in 1924 as a Roma-Lido station for the Esposizione Universale Roma as Magliana (akin to the other stations opened at that time Torrino, Risaro, Acilia, Ostia Scavi and Marina di Ostia). It was later renamed Magliana Ostiense, then Magliana again and finally its present name. The building has been repeatedly rebuilt. Its atrium is decorated by mosaics that have won the Artemetro Roma prize by Antonio Passa (Italy) and Tamás Lossonczy (Hungary). Next to it is a railway depot for both lines.

Genius of Fascism is a statue from 1939 by the Italian sculptor Italo Griselli. It is located outside the Palazzo degli Uffici in the EUR district of Rome, Italy. In 1952, the supervisor of the district, Virgilio Testa, renamed the statue Genius of Sport. Cestuses were then added to the hands of the figure.

Stadio Tre Fontane is a sports stadium located in Rome, Italy. It is the home ground of rugby union side Rugby Roma Olimpic, who play in the Super 10 competition. It currently has a capacity of 4,000, although there are plans to redevelop and expand the stadium. The stadium is also used by A.S. Roma Women for Serie A games and A.S. Roma Primavera for the UEFA Youth League games.

EUR is a residential and business district in Rome, Italy, part of the Municipio IX. The area was originally chosen in the 1930s as the site for the 1942 World's Fair which Benito Mussolini planned to open to celebrate twenty years of Fascism, the letters EUR standing for Esposizione Universale Roma ("Universal Exposition Rome"). The project was originally called E42 after the year in which the exhibition was to be held. EUR was also designed to direct the expansion of the city towards the south-west and the sea, and to be a new city centre for Rome. The planned exhibition never took place due to World War II. Most of the area is the property of EUR S.p.A., a company jointly owned by the Ministry of Economy and the Municipality of Rome.

The Obelisk of Marconi, or Obelisk of EUR, is an obelisk of Rome (Italy), counted among the most modern in the city together with the Obelisco Novecento (by Arnaldo Pomodoro) and the obelisks of the Foro Italico, Villa Torlonia and Villa Medici. A work of the sculptor Arturo Dazzi, it is dedicated to the physicist, inventor and senator Guglielmo Marconi.

The Piscina delle Rose (English: Roses Swimming Pool) is a sports venue located in Rome, Italy. It hosted the preliminaries for the water polo events at the 1960 Summer Olympics.

The basilica of Santi Pietro e Paolo a Via Ostiense is one of the titular churches in Rome, to which Cardinal-Priests are appointed. It is a modern building at Piazzale dei Santi Pietro e Paolo 8 in EUR (Esposizione Universale Roma). It is at the west end of the Viale Europa, the last two blocks of which is a monumental approach reserved for pedestrians and paved with polychrome marble.

EUR Palasport is a station on Line B of the Rome Metro, in the EUR district of Rome between Viale America and Piazza Umberto Elia Terracini. It was opened in 1955 as EUR Marconi but renamed to its present name on the opening of the new Marconi station. Beside it is the artificial lake created for the 1960 Summer Olympics.

Ponte della Magliana is a motorway bridge in Rome (Italy). It crosses the Tiber between Pian due Torri (right bank) and Via del Cappellaccio (left bank), linking the Quartieri Portuense and Ostiense, respectively on the right and on the left of the river. It is currently part of a larger viaduct, which continues on the right bank of the Tiber towards the Colli Portuensi urban zone and the highway to the Fiumicino Airport and on the left one towards the EUR district, the Tre Fontane urban zone and Via Laurentina.

The "Luigi Pigorini" National Museum of Prehistory and Ethnography is a public and research museum located in Rome, Italy. Established in 1875 and opened in 1876 by Luigi Pigorini, from 2016, it is one of the four museums inside the Museum of Civilizations' network, and is currently directed by Andrea Viliani. The museum was housed in the Collegio Romano from 1875 to 1923.

Rome's National Museum of Oriental Art "Giuseppe Tucci" (Italian: Museo Nazionale d'Arte Orientale 'Giuseppe Tucci' ) is a museum (now closed) in Rome, Italy, that was dedicated to the arts of the Orient, from the Middle East to Japan. The museum was located in Via Merulana 248 in the Rione Esquilino.
